Not a bad strain. Not one I would seek out, but still not bad.
Nice first creative, then calming effects. I have to moderate use to not want too much creativity so I want sleep instead.
Excellent and affordable. Smells great.
This is my first strain review, as I have been inspired by this little gem of a strain. I got some clones from my neighbor and saw his final product and wasn't too impressed or excited for it. Man was I wrong! Now the whole phynotype philosophy makes beautiful sense to me. I grew two magoos in a top drip hydro system until about week 4 of flower, when my gorilla glues and white widows lifted up their little lady skirts only to reveal they were now chicks with di.... they went hermaphrodite is where I was going with that. Anyways I removed them into a new flower room as they were the only strain to not even show a sign of herminism. Basically they're extremely healthy plants, strong burley genetics, healthiest leaves of all 10 strains I grew, deliciously pungent sweet fruit basket aroma and tastes like I just blew Tucan Sam. I recommend highly to include this strain in your first grow if you want an easy win.

the description fits this flower perfectly. I typically lean towards sativa, sativa dominant hybrids, but this is a favorite as well.
This is my #1 strain out of all the ones i know. The buds are Purple with red hairs. It has an amazing Blue berry/cotton candy flavor and it hits really hard pretty quick eventually leaving you couch-locked. THC can be 17% to 22% Mine atm being 22%
Bottom Line Up Front:
I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good standalone for medicinal purposes.. This is a great late evening / before bed indica. Onset is a bit slow and you will soon find yourself completely locked up. Something about this strain specifically didn’t agree with my particular body chemistry and the effect was less relaxing than I had expected. I felt the need to fight the effects somewhat and never quite settled into this strain. I’m sure others will probably not experience the same. Blue Magoo would make a great addition to to one’s collection who is looking for a high-quality Indica that combines the best of both the Blue Berry notes most have come to love with distinct and heavy medicinal qualities.. Great for pain and insomnia.
Empirical Data and Value:
Out of the bag, you know you have some real medicine in your hand. Smell is VERY sweet and candy-like with blueberry permeating through notes of earthiness and citrus zest The smoke to follow is exactly what you would expect when you first smell it. You know you are in for an experience. Burned consistently to fine white ash (80/20) indicating proper growing/harvesting technique. Above average smoothness. Value is there with long-lasting effects and a solid smoke to cash.
