Perfect for being productive, talkative, and all around happy. I have yet to get anxious or paranoid on this strain which is why I love it. Be careful though, this stuff is potent and smoking too much will cause you to enter another realm and be locked in you mind. Your skull will feel like a dome and thoughts are ricocheting around within it full of creativity. Very enjoyable experience!
I had a low tolerance at the time I last smoked it, had half a G, filled the bowl, and 1 hit and I was out had it for about 3 months and 1 deep bit held in for about 10 sec. Tons of smoke left a very nice pine/mint/citrus like flavor, bit of diesel, and I didn't see it comin, almost fell out of a car, completely blowed, 3 hrs of euphoria, and feeling like I was in space, I was even tripping a bit (for about 10 min.), double layered vision and everything was distorted, some colors when I wandered off into thought, and entire body went numb completely, and when I did regain feeling, I felt my body was in pieces and separated, it was amazing, got a lot of work done that I didn't remember doing... But that's cool, I'd recommend it to anyone, but watch how much you take in, very strong, and the smell is very pungent and very noticeable, lingers around for about 20 min. I paid $20 for 1 G gives ya stick fingers, one of my favorites!
This is one of my very favorites. The right dose brings me clarity like nothing else. For me that’s only about an m&m sized bud, ground medium and smoked in a Smoke Heir water pipe. Too much and I just feel an even head/body high, no real downside really.
For anyone who has ever briefly seen through a fog of depression*, or had a moment of inspiration in a creative lull or writer’s block, or maybe even an “Aha moment” at work**… you understand that moment of clarity feeling, and this has helped with all three of those in my case.
If I find myself too whiny or self absorbed, a hit of that will usually chill me out, asking myself why I even cared about [insert any daily minor annoyance here] in the first place.
It’s almost like it turns down how important everything is to me to the same low-priority baseline, but doesn’t dull me so much as to not care about anything. So then I can focus on things unemotionally and clearly. For any neurodivergent folks who find themselves in an over-self-analysis loop, this has helped me get myself out a few times.***
Strongly recommend. Just not from my dispensary. Because they’re often out due to how rad and popular it is. So go get your own! ;)
Disclaimers:
* Not a cure for depression! I was situationally depressed due to a mass layoff and the self-pity that comes with, the clarity provided was that whining about it wasn’t solving anything.
** Don’t use drugs at work. Unless you’re allowed.
*** Not a cure for autism. That’s not a thing.
It is said in 1991 legendary breeder "Chemdawg" had attended a Grateful Dead show and met "Joebrand"
and "Pbud", they sold Chemdawg an ounce for $500. Joe and Chemdawg later arranged for two more ounces to be shipped to Chemdawg on the east coast. According to Chemdawg, one ounce was seedless and the other had 13 seeds.
The first Chem Dog strain was grown in Montana and sold in Colorado for years before being purchased by Chemdawg. A primarily indica "Chem" line had been produced steadily for years in Colorado, confirming that Chem Dog (and related siblings) are indeed of predominantly indica genetics. Chemdawg was now a proud owner of 13 original seeds and in 1991 Chemdawg sowed his first 4 seeds. One turned out male, but the other three were females that became "Chem 91" or "ChemDog '91", "Chem A" (Chem 91 sister), and "Chem B" phenos. In 2000, Chemdawg sowed 3 more seeds labeled "C", "D" and "E". The "C" seed did not turn out well, the "E" seed never germinated and the "D" seed was the winner. In 2006 Chemdawg brought back 4 original Chem Dog seeds to Joebrand in Colorado to be grown out. Those seeds accounted for four more Chem Dog phenotypes.
In 1993 at a Phish concert Chemdawg met other growers from New York City, Chemdawg traded the Chem Dog for a Super Skunk. The NYC growers disliked the name "Chem Dog" and changed the name to Diesel. The original Chem Dog is Diesel.
Albany breeders pleaded for a cutting of the Diesel, instead got a bag of seeds to grow. The Albany crew started breeding those seeds and named it "Sour Diesel". Also the original Chem Dog, aka Diesl is OG Kush. Chem Dog was later renamed "OG Kush" when it arrived in Tahoe in 1996 before it landed in California.
The flavor and aroma is top notch with the classic look and smooth smoke. Chem Dog has a clear-cut look, smell, and taste. The appearance after drying is lime green with a golden tint, mixture of red hairs and a healthy coating of sugary crystals. There are also many other phenotype hybrids including Geisel, Snodog, Bubble Chem and others.
I’m an old man (60). Well anyway, kind of old. As a normal part of my day I have “Old Man” aches and pains that simply do not subside without medication. Chemdawg 91works well here, but is a very non-descript kind of strain. Not much smell or taste. It doesn’t have any attributes that are worth writing home about. (I haven’t tried it in a bong, pipe, or a joint though so I have a pretty narrow experience with it). Having said all that, it is a very mild and euphoric high. The evolution of this strain is not too far from its Landrace roots. It’s a 1960’s-1970’s type of high. You’re buzzed, your aches and pains are definitely gone, but not much more than that. No giddiness. No zoning out regardless of how much you smoke. Great for medicinal value, but won’t do much for when you are in a social environment. It’s a great stay at home and relax on the couch type of strain. Don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed. Recommended for those with small aches and pains they want to make go away without the zombie after-affects.
This is my favorite strain in existence. It is the ONLY thing that makes my migraines go away. I don't have any negative effects from it.

This was a great my bird strain one of my favorites great for the daytime and early night relaxes you but doesn't put you to sleep and gives you creative outlook.
i have been on the hunt for a nice, euphoric sativa that doesn’t induce anxiety for a while now. i saw several reviews here that matched this description so i decided to give it a try. unfortunately, this strain was terrible for my anxiety and gave me very uncomfortable heart palpitations. however, once 30 min-1 hour passes, the intense cerebral high takes over these feelings of anxiety and the rest of the high is very euphoric. if you think that you can get past the initial anxiety it induces or you don’t have anxiety, this strain is a very intense, euphoric, giddy one that will definitely leave you feeling stoned. on the other hand, if you have anxiety, i would steer clear of this one.
