Nice smoke. Smooth. Have only hit this this level of relaxation and pain relief from few other strains. Not the strongest smell until I cracked the nugget open then mmmmmm.
Helps somewhat with my insomnia but by somewhat that is great for me because I rarely find stuff that puts me to sleep.
For the price it was mild and tasty enough at first, kind of piney sage. Felt in my cheeks and forehead almost right away. Then very buzzy. Then total chill. Naptime? I am compelled to tidy, but sleepy. Lets see what I can get done. I stayed awake then managed to organise my desk area, threw a bunch of stuff away, and organised my night table area. Later, more of this stuff put me right to sleep. Another day, it lulled me to sleep right away.
A very good deal at 5 bucks per gram!
just smoked some chemo for the first time and I have to say it's a fantastic strain, I'm definitely a fan of the indica strains it helps treat my ADHD and allows me to relax.
Personally, when I smoke this strain it gives me a laid back i dont want to do anything type of attitude. I get this strain free and i do smoke it on a regular basis so im generally used to the effects. Its a good strain for when you have bady pains or cramps.
By far my favorite all-time strain for pain. Suffering from severe chronic pain related to fibromyalgia for over a decade, the most relief I've ever found was in the Chemo strain. It's like a super strong ibuprofen with muscle relaxing qualities and inflammation stomping goodness. Highly recommended for medicinal use for pain, anxiety, stress, headaches, and related nausea or stomach issues. I seek this strain often, but prefer heavier doses for nighttime use as it can and usually does make yah dozey. Though smaller doses during the day prove beneficial to ease pain and calm high anxiety levels.
This is one of those legendary type strains.
Saw someone else review it saying that it “shows you no mercy”
That is both correct and beautiful.
Get this strain if you’re in any kind of pain.
wow nice calm one !

Had UBC Chemo in the mid-90s when I visited IRC buddies in Vancouver. It was just "Chemo" back then. I was told about UBC breeding the perfect cancer therapy weed. I called it "God's Weed" and for good reason. The buds were almost solid as a rock. I was told that when UBC tried to go for higher THC there wasn't enough plant matter so the plants weren't viable. Other posts say it's an indica but I was told it was a ruderalis.
