Amazing for relief from muscle pain and tightness! Gives a euphoric rush and warm, fuzzy, happy buzz and sense of well-being. Also fantastic for anxiety. As others have said, a little goes a long way, so go easy if you're not a regular cannabis user. Also, best used in the evening, because you'll likely fall asleep on the couch. Chemo is one of the best strains for insomnia, no doubt.

Since the strain chemo cookies isn’t on here I thought I’d review this strain instead. Very intense strain, smoke too much and you’ll be a vegetable. Tastes sweet, almost like chestnut. Not too harsh on the lungs. Very euphoric..

Oh man. This strain in amazing. As a daily smoker with quite a high tolerance. This really does the job. I shared it in a blunt with several other experienced smokers and got asked what strain it was. Gets your up there decently quick. High isn’t overly couch lock but definitely heavy. Munchies. Such strong munchies every time I smoked it. Won’t feel any pain after this. Totally worth giving a try!

Im sorry guys, like old school hashplant and original blueberry, the genetics for this strain died out almost two decades ago. Im from BC, born and raised, the son of a grower, been in the business myself for decades, not really a pro, though I did it for a living more than once, but certainly not like some of these guys. That being said, I was there, I remember, its not second hand for me. Some context, other than south western BC everyone in Canada smoked hash, or if they were really unlucky mexican dirt weed, pray it didnt have peroquat on it (before my day). Out east the drugs were run by the actual mob, yes we had it in Canada too, the most prominent being the Montreal mafia, part of the regular mob, again im no expert on that I just know gold seal black hash was brought into the rest of Canada by the ton in the 70's and 80's. There was no gold coin, contrary to popular myth, some bricks were labeled shit like the shahs reserve and that might have had gold leaf on it..hard to remember. Im fairly sure the good stuff had ipium in it because Ive never been as fucked up falling over dundee from weed product than I have with this shit. But heres where it gets historical, after the Seattle KingDome was built, it was the first indoor football stadium and they needed lights that would mimic the sun so the old TV cameras would work properly. Combine that with comparatively lax drug laws a few minutes north across the border, a mild climate, cheap hydro, an established horticulter and indoor/greenhouse farming tech center, northern deepwater ports close to the largest drug market on the planet, draft dodgers and the hippy movement and along with that the green movement (greenpeace was formed in BC) and many strong ties to the Netherlands, made it the perfect recipe for a burgeoning marijuana industry. Which, coincidentally are some* of the reasons UBC was used and not more established eastern Universities to grow this experimental strain. So, long story not very short, we didnt need to import hash, we had, even by the eighties, stopped all importation of all significant amounts of marijuana the strains were so good, so varied, that by the early 90's when i started smoking, and before the massive commercial ops ruined the scene here for so long, i smoked bar none, even compared to todays so called super weed at mid 20's to 30% was not as potent, or as flavorful. Hashplant was called that because it literally tasted like hash, not because it was a strain used for making hash. original blueberry stank, i had a single plant in a 40 light room of Jamaican sugar and all i could smell is fricken blueberry...anyways I digress, i have not tasted OG chemo in 20 years, or anything like it, as far as i can tell its gone, same as hashplant.

This strain comes from Sunshine Co-Op. The first thing that grabbed me about this weed is the smell. OMG, it is the best smelling weed ever. The scent of sweet ripe blueberries is amazing, it really pops as soon as you rip open the bag.. It does not smell like weed at all. I read the other reviews warning not to use during the day, so I heeded that advice. I vaped two bags after dinner. The vape is smooth and pleasant, leaving a hint of blueberry aftertaste on the lips. I felt deeply relaxed, but not conked out. My mind was peaceful, my muscles relaxed. A couple of hours later after my hubby went to sleep, I went up to my woman cave to vape another bag and play Skyrim. About five minutes after that vape session, I could not keep my eyes open. I have severe chronic insomnia. This stuff works almost as good as my ambien. I also deal with daily joint pain, and this strain was as effective as taking a vicodin. Like most strains of weed, it will give you dry mouth and the munchies. I have yet to find a strain that doesn't. Keep water on your nightstand and a few crackers. I woke up with a headache, but I think that was my own fault for vaping so much. In hindsight, I should stick to one bag. I will definitely buy this again and use as nightime medicine when I'm out of ambien.

I no longer have to worry about insomnia. Unfortunately, now I have to worry about fridge raids and a rapidly increasing grocery costs. This strain is not for beginners.
