loved it!!! smoked one joint and the flavours erupted with a earthly taste that left a kind of numb felling as I was smoking it.

after vaping this I went over to my husband that was sitting at the kitchen table and told him that I feel Invincible. Then I leaned and whispered into his ear, all creepy like, and said that I needed him to drink something. He started laughing nervously and acted all freaked out which made me want to act even more creepy.
A recent acquisition from the local coffeeshop, Choco Kush and its offspring are mostly indica-dominant hybrids with a surprisingly positive effect on the mind.
The scent and flavours aren't anything out of the ordinary, I'd almost even call it a bit bland.
Its effects make up for its bland flavours by offering all the indica benefits with a calm euphoric effect from its hybrid status. The iconic 'munchies' kick in decently fast, and is followed by a steadily growing drowsiness.
I'd advise this one for medical use, preferably in the evenings though. Its full effects kick in after a few bowls/trenches, replacing most negative thoughts with a sleepiness and an appetite that would put bears to shame.
Captains Log: 5.7.15 2:25 P.M.
Physical Description: Tight, fluffy, light green calyxes surrounded by reddish-brown pistils.
Scent and Flavor Profile: While the scent is quite sweet (a few notes off from milk chocolate), the taste only faintly echoes what the aroma suggests.
Pros: If an uplifting, euphoric strain is what you're looking for, than look no further; Chocolate Kush delivers a laughter-induced, awe inspiring high, which fills the user with wonder and excitement, ideal for the "out-of-doors" type of individual. Medicinally, the euphoric sensation is excellent for patients suffering from depression, and the active high promotes a higher rate of hunger and thirst, effectively combating a lack of appetite. Because of the Indica genetics, Chocolate Kush encourages muscle relaxation, soothing minor cramps and sores.
Cons: Continuous smokers should be aware of the possibility of headache and light dry mouth, as well as the semi-harsh nature of the smoke it produces (if you have delicate lungs, you might want to take it easy at first).
Conclusion: A well rounded Sativa, Chocolate Kush does an excellent job catering to the active individual, while still providing gentle pain relief and euphoria, helping to induce a relaxing and care free high that's sure to please.
One of my favourites for all around appeal and most importantly affect. The scent of certain phenotypes of this strain are unbelievably inviting. The chocolope smell and taste that are so unique and appealing in their own right get blended with an awesome Kush scent leaning slightly to the OG#18 side, almost reminiscent of the Holy Grail Kush also by DNA. Back to the affects it effects... Perfect hybridization of initial euphoric, creative, smiley lighthearted feelings while still retaining that nice calming happiness of the Kosher.
Side note - This strain can most definitely achieve THC levels higher than 14% as I can attest to, not sure where Leafly gets those numbers from but they could be updated as we have seen this one measure as high as 22%
TASTES GREAT AND WORKS FAST... GOOD PAIN RELIEVER. LASTS 2-4 HOURS. VERY STRONG AND IT IS A VERY POPULAR STRAIN IN SEATTLE, WA.
chocolate kush is great smoke
Like most strains, when it is done right, (like the Chocolate Kush I got) its pleasure to have. Nice dense nugs with that hint of chocolate in the back round. For a sativa dominant it isn't to strong compared to other so it makes it great for day time use and to stay focused. Not very colorful at first look but when you look at through the light&lens you see its beauty.
