Oh god damn. Favorite sativa. Great smell, flavor and affects. Very good for getting work done, going to the gym.
Back in the day there were 7 colors of gold. From bright yellow to a goldish color. Tastes and affects varied. The yellowish gold made you laugh your ass off and tasted like sweet candy. Take a toke and it expanded like a bomb,, you coughed your ass off.. The strains nowadays are a pale comparison.

I haven’t smoked it yet. But I’m old-school and have smoked a ton of Colombian gold when I was a kid. I don’t remember any skunk taste. I am still curious to try this and see if there’s any flavors at all from the old Colombian gold. But I doubt it.
Another old timer here. But so worth it when it shows up! up! Not for the rookie or faint of heart...It's racey and if you smoke much, you're gonna hallucinate. Smoke if a safe place with safe friends around. And don't think you'll be able to drive. Another old strain, Panama Red.
The Strain that I got back in the late 70s and 80s was was actually Columbian gold. The color was a beautiful gold, and it smelled like nothing of today, the taste was sweet. And like another gentleman said, when It got to your lungs and expanded, you were coughing and hacking. And like the gentleman said they were all untouched strains. They were beautiful the way they were. I remember smoking Maui waui. Chocolate Thai Black Afghani hash. That was just the name of you, there were many more. And I missed those strains.
