Gave this a try after reading some of the reviews. Death Star, by Boom City Cannabis.
First thoughts right after opening the bag and taking a sniff: mild earthy, low-key lemon, little spicy, but a little of the overdried grass smell.
The strain review said, "...offers skunky sweet jet fuel aromas that are pungent and fill up your nostrils."
I didn't get any of that with this stuff. It was a very mild taste and almost smelled like incense burning. Your experience may vary.
The buzz was pretty good. Maybe not as strong as other reviews make it out to be, but good enough to be a nice go-to when you get home from work and want to help with any stress or pain you may have.
At the price I picked this up at, I'd probably give something else a try before coming back to this again. It isn't bad, but there's nothing about it that makes it stand out to me in any particular way.
Location: L'Eagle
THC: 25.18%
CBD: Unknown
THC-A: Unknown
Additional Notes: I never had this variety before, but am huge fan of the plant's parents: Sour Diesel and Sensi Star.
Appearance Rating: 5.00
Appearance Description: These are very well formed vibrant green buds with a good amount of burnt red hairs. They are covered in Trichromes and are beautifully manicured.
Taste Rating: 5.00
Taste Description: You definitely get some of the fuel skunky flavor from the Sour Diesel, but also get that sweet pungent earth taste from the Sensi Star. The combined flavor is one I really love.
Effects Rating: 5.00
Effects Description: They call this an indica strain and I definitely get some of the relaxed feelings you'd expect. However, it also seems to have a good amount of sativa kick to it. I appreciate it when indicas bring relaxation and euphoria without couch lock.
Overall Rating: 5.00
Overall Summary: I am generally very picky with my cannabis. So far everything from L'Eagle has been top notch and these are no different. I am confident this strain would appeal to any connoisseur. The flavor and high really make it worth trying. I tend to lean more to the sativa side, so I was reluctant to try this strain. Once you smell them, you'll know why I couldn't pass them up.

Love this strain!! It actually makes me get up and clean.
A great high, super relaxing! I get a bit spacey and I love it. Perfect for late night, don't expect to do much after smoking this.

not only is this the perfect pain killer for things like periods, headaches, cramping. its also dumb potent and tasty af. its also the strongest weed in terms of smell ive ever purchased. 1 small gram stunk up my whole car. its also super sticky, so really good for rollin or bowlin but its best to have a grinder, picking it apart is difficult and a waste of all that sticky icky. all in all excellent high! perfect for a saturday night with my friends
Got this locally, and it is absolutely astonishing. Starts off with a really powerful head buzz for about 10 minutes or so, but then moves into a heavily sedating body stone for between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. You can just lay on your bed and giggle in a relaxing euphoria for what feels like much longer than just a couple hours. Leaves you quite sleepy after it wears off, and you really are not 100% back to normal until the next day.
Death Star is f****** bomb. In my top 3 for sure. At first the sour diesel heritage really hits you with a strong cerebral euphoria. Cures depression in minutes then puts a perma-smile on your face. Personally this isn't the strain I'd go out in public with.. it's obvious you're baked when on Death Star. After the euphoria dies down, you fade into a deep relaxation that usually ends in sleep. Rookies beware
One sniff and I was sold. Such a pungent original odor. Reminded me of some strong biscotti mintz or chemdawg. Smoke least n ounce a week to the head. Half a blunt I'm buzzed. 😌
