One of my first strains picked out and it certainly does the trick needed. Nice functional head and body high. Took the stress from a long day away and killed my migraine!!

This is a fantastic strain! I feel great, happy, uplifted, calm, relaxed and magical to be honest haha. This is going to be a good go to for anyone looking to help with depression or someone who needs an escape from a bad day or even anxiety. You feel to happy to even think of any bad :)
fab
Stunning cross between that stoney stoned feeling and mental focus. I am easily disappointed distracted but enjoying newly discovered aspects of long standbys.

double dream had me a focused and organized mess able to accomplish tasks at will but forgetting what I was doing at the same time. also felt a very relaxed sense wash over my body and then after the initial headrush my mind cleared and I was able to focus on singular tasks
Open hearted, relaxed and focused. Seems to help with pain 20 long minutes after 1/4 gram smoked between two happy folks.
Usually I turn to pot for fun and escapism, but tonight, it’s desperation. My period landed today, and I have severe PCOS. Periods are a nightmare of immense hemorrhaging, fun side effects like severe nausea and diarrhea and intense, tear-inducing pain.
I know this is gonna be a bad one because it’s barely started and I’ve already begun feeling the burning and stabbing in my right side that I always get, but usually not until my cramps are at their worst. I know I’m in for a bad week and all I want to do is curl up in a ball and pray for death.
Instead I surfed the net for cannabis recs for cramps. Despite my rather large collection, I don’t have most of the strains recommended, but I do have Double Dream, and since one of its parents is the recommended Blue Dream. Since I think this is sativa dominant, I’m sprinkling some of my mom’s homegrown pot on top of my full bowl. I don’t know what strain Mom’s pot is, but she likes indicas, and I want to be extra relaxed since bedtime isn’t that far off. I’ve tried Double Dream a few times before but none of my experiences were that memorable. Still, like I said, I’m not looking to feel high (for once). I just want to stop hurting.
As I start, I’d say my pain and nausea are at a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10. 10 is full on sobbing and throwing up, btw. It’s good to be a woman, she said bitterly.
About five minutes in, I’d say my pain has dropped to maybe a six, a slight reduction but I’m still pretty miserable. I’ll keep updating.
10 minutes in, and there’s definitely been a more noticeable reduction in pain. I’d saying it’s hovering between a four and a five. That said, I don’t want to spend the night at this pain level. I’ll give it another five to ten and then I’m either trying another bowl, or another strain altogether.
Alright, I’d say I’m about 20 mins in, at least...I’m starting to lose track. I’ve got those cannabis goggles on with the tunnel vision. Still, my pain is significant; I’d say it’s even trying to creep back up a bit. Now a definite 5 to 6. My stomach is burning and upset, though my nausea has lessened somewhat. One more try with a bowl of Double Dream and a dash of mystery indica.
OK, smoked that second bowl. In the two or three minutes it took me, my pain’s definitely increased, as has my stomach discomfort, and I am not a happy camper. Going to report back in 10 and see if my frown is turned upside down.
OK, about another 20 minutes in and I’m calling this experiment a failure. My pain and stomach issues have circled back to a 7. It’s really too bad because I’m definitely feeling the high more than I have before and if it wasn’t for the pain, I’d be really happy right now. I put on some of my favorite 80’s/90’s sing along playlists, and if this nightmarish twist on a scarlet fever wasn’t tormenting me, I’d be really enjoying the nostalgia and just chilling out. I don’t doubt that Double Dream would be great for less severe cramps, but for me, my search for the perfect period cure continues.
