All time classic Sativa. Heady, uplifting, spiritual and energizing high. The breakfast of champions, first bestowed upon me by Tricky, in the early 90's. NorCal, NYC, and Vancouver BC have produced fine versions of this strain for years, and many of its hybridized offspring are becoming top strains of their own right (GSC anyone? Can't swing a dead hippy in a dispensary without knocking over 3 or 4 iterations of the DP bloodline. I've written, drawn and painted many of my favorite pieces on DP, and either playing or mixing music on it takes me to the next level. Bud of the gods, best Sativa strain EVER
My first encounter with Durban Poison was awesome. I took two regal rips off the Durban in my favorite bong and was blown away. Super intense, kick you in the face takeoff, very nice. The buzz lasted full strength for more than 3 hours and tapered off to a nice lazy morning kind of feeling. It is my favorite strain so far.
nice high i like how dark the buds are, smells of lemon which i find pleasant
Love hate with this one. It's much different than I anticipated it to be. For one, that espresso type energy isn't there for me. Secondly, I'm feeling super fuckin' spacey. However - got some Vampire Weekend going, and music is sounding super rad and meaningful. Since I've started smoking again (after one sumbitch of a hiatus!) I've stuck exclusively with Sativa's and away from Weed Paranoia Ville. Also, popping a black pepper extract has stopped that annoying trend dead in its' tracks. Picked this stuff up from Preffered Organic Therapy, great quality, good price, and kinda a pain in the ass to get to, personally. Got some Cherry Diesel while I was there and enjoyed the Cherry D much more than this. Being all spacey and shit, what was I writing about? Ahh yes, Durban Poison review. Seriously, though, this stuff is some good daytime space-out weed. But if you need a more lucid and detailed focus-weed, look elsewhere.

I'm not much for sativas but this stuff works so good for depression. It's become my go to for getting stuff done. Just wish I could always find it. The flavour is pretty different, kinda like haze but with some dank to it. Tastes really good in the vape.
I stopped using weed almost 30 years ago due to some intolerable paranoia when using. I was hesitant, and at the same time curious, with regard to developments in this world that I never imagined would happen, when I was in my 20s! So, anyway, I have been trying a few high CBD strains, thinking the paranoia would be less likely if I satyed aaway from THC. Howevere, I am worthless and can't be bothered to do anything when I use those. So I read a million reviews and finally took a plunge and bought some DP. I have a Dynavap M, which I love, and I was very, very careful, and put a tiny amount of course ground flower in it. I took a maybe two second pull. Waited five...ten minutes. I felt lovely! I would not drive when feeling alered, but I monitored the feelings and thoughts and general exeriecne wiht this microdose. I believe that micro dosing is the way, for me. I felt focused, energised, and the biggie, I did not get munchies! I will eat anything that can't move fast enough to escape from me, when I get them, and it's a nuisance. I don't want to put on weight because I enjoy using my flowers!
So, if anyone else finds they experience paranoia, all I can say is "so do I, enough to stop me using at ALL, for decades", and so far, the trick is micro-dosing. I'm going to put my review of another one, Green Crack, up too, which has somewhat similar, but not identical, results. Hope someone finds this useful. And thanks to everyone who takes time to share info about all the strains. I use this site extensively and appreciate the wisdom here.
