This is a strain that started out in Amsterdam coffee shops, and it's still one of the most widely grown strains that I know of among amateur and enthusiast growers. -- This Dutch Treat came to me as a processor's sample, and so it doesn't have quite the information that a retail-sales batch would have. I was able to see lab testing reports however - which are immensely more complete and complex than you would think - and the numbers add up. This is legitimately some 29% TTL THC content pot. -- Frankly, I did not treat this delicious flower with the respect it really deserved. I smoked this as some 'go to bed' medicine at the end of a long day on my feet, doing sales consultancy for the first time in 6 years. Because I was working with weed (as a budtender), I was getting stoned all day. I vaped hash, I smoked joints, I smoked bowls, I hit an MFLB a few times for flavor tasting, and along with it all I drank about a gallon of coffee. -- The herb had a slightly bitter, slightly chemical/diesel smell - the inside of the bag has the faintest trace of it under a fresh herb smell. The taste was very earthy, slightly herby but not particularly strong. The smoke itself was much more mellow than I expected based on appearance, smell, texture, strain and the density of smoke. -- As for effect, I was asleep in moments I woke up feeling incredibly rested. Didn't like this strain, way to weak, won't be smoking this again anytime soon.. No cerebral high, no body high either, just a weak high all together.. disappointing

This strain melted my worries away, can feel it give me a happy lift, at first it was cerebral effect then mellowed out. So far only done in the night time, to wind down. It did have me real talkative. Recommend for social anxiety issues. It helps after ur high has finished to keep relaxed, so no panic when someone's walking towards you.

Vaped a good 6 hits off this and I was gone. In the best way possible. Very clear minded but definitely giggly and energetic. I felt very euphoric, which some strains haven't done for me in a while. Came down pretty nice as well, very relaxed. Highly recommended 😉

Meh. I was not very impressed with the taste or the head change.

Dutch Treat is one of my top three favorite strains of all time. And it really is a treat as there isn't another strain that can achieve what Dt can. (Though White Widow is a known contender I don't feel it's at all the same). Well cured buds of Dutch Treat have a pungent pepper and slight cheese odor. This is also the taste that comes though when you smoke followed by a bit of citrus. I recommend Dutch Treat for anything except perhaps sleep. If I could have 3 strains on hand every day Dutch Treat would be one of them. And I am a well seasoned medicinal smoker. If you get a chance to pick up some Dt don't pass it up !! I will say the only con in flower form it can be a rough hit.

This is probably my favorite so far. I'm not big on sativas, as most of my usage is for night time pain and RLS, but I tried some Dutch Treat the other day. Can't remember why.....but really, who needs a reason? Anyway, it was like me, but better! Smooth high, really pleasant, no "stoned" feeling, just a nice, even-keel mood elevation. I had so much patience with everyone, it was great. Soft landing when you come down, too, gentle and gradual. I was alert and no one noticed I'd even taken anything!

Hands down the tastiest smoke I’ve ever had. The high is not debilitating so I tend to smoke it before listening to a lecture or studying. Helps with headaches, sadness, not good for sleep in my experience though. Definitely a daytime smoke.
