Frankenstein is a strange strain for me . Described as mostly indica but I don’t get that at all .
As an old sativa fan I can clearly distinguish the sativa part of this hybrid . I even searched the net to see if someone thinks it’s more to the indica side or at least balanced but All I found is talk about being 80/20 indica .
Maybe the talk about huge variation in the subjective judgment of the indica sativa ratio is true after all , remember that it’s a plant and some recessives elements of the plant may become dominant especially that my Frankenstein was an outdoor ( local Cape Town dealer ) .
The buds are medium and small size , the smell I got is clear mango fresh and tropical , makes u high even before smoking .
The hit is smooth .
The high is well balanced , relaxed but not locked , social and interactive , u can feel the indica part in your body , massaging numbness and light .
Over all nicely balanced flower , advice to use it evenings for watching movie or chatting with friends .
4.5/5
Heavy narcotic indica that'll kick you in the butt and leave you layed out on the couch for hours, looking snacks and the remote. Seattle's Private Reserve, OG Kush x Lavender OG, 80/20 Indica hybrid. Eventually it helps with my insomnia, giving me a good night's sleep. Also tried Live Resin version by Avitas, which seems even more sleep inducing, but not much euphoria. Will buy again.
The True Story of ‘Johnny Potseed’ and ‘Frankenstein’ is as follows,
He was born in the late 40s and grew up on family farmland, where a rather large amount of marijuana was grown every year by his grandfather. Enjoying playing and being in the company of the elders while they were working with the various crops, he would toddle alongside them as they worked the rows. At about 3-4 yrs old he wanted to ‘help’ so they gave him a cut-down garden hoe and let him ‘work’ alongside them… at first cutting down more ‘weed’ than weeds, he was patiently taught which ones to look out for and which were unwanted.
His first toke was at the age of 8, sneaking behind the barn with a ‘borrowed’ pipe… and the rest, as they say, is history! In his mid-teens (early 1960s) he started to roam the country, sowing the beautiful plant he loved in any place he found that it might flourish. Also, in a few places that he knew it wouldn’t, but… that was more a gesture of defiance. Like planting on the grounds of the Washington Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial, or any square/park in the centers of many towns across the USA.
All during the 60s and 70s up into the first of the 80s, he wandered the country, planting and sometimes cultivating and harvesting, the sweet leaf. Selling what he grew as well as working different jobs here and there when he needed…
By the mid-70s, because of his nationwide planting practices, he was called Johnny Potseed by many, and the nickname took hold. Becoming considered a ‘Master Grower’ in the Western part of the USA circa mid 70’, he continued to hone his growing/breeding skills.
In the early 80s, he met and married a young lady, who became the mother of 3 great children. When she became pregnant with their first child in the early 80’s he moved from growing outdoors to indoors. After about 20 yrs. in early 2000, there was an accident and he became permanently disabled. So, to have the meds he needed, he decided to breed his own. After taking a while for research, he picked & ordered seeds of 7 strains from the list of top 20 consistent world class strains. Taking 3&1/2 years of very intensive growing and crossing of the strains, and exhaustive log-keeping, and then another year and a half to stabilize and breed true. A total of 5 years of blood, sweat, and tears went into the making of his ideal medicinal/recreational strain, high in both THC as well as CBD. He named it ‘Frankenstein’ after the similar idea of the famous movie monster, having been made from pieces of several men. This blend is one that never grows old and can be smoked daily for years without the user becoming inured to.
He has been known to be the breeder of Frankenstein by many people 'in the know' nationwide ever since it's creation.
The culmination of now over 65 years’ growing/breeding experience, ‘Frankenstein’ was created and now is being shared with the world. Enjoy!

Just like Grandma's Boy! Good job, Doc!
One of my favorite strains, deep relaxation that helps me do anything from just calm down to pass the fuck out. Recommend to anyone with any sort of sleeping, muscular or emotional issues like anxiety snd anger issues
I bought 4gs for $40 at the " Stash Box " in Auburn, Wa and I liked it alot. Smells great, tastes good and the nugs are dense.
Sometimes I get it right, the name was catchy and I had to look twice at the bud, it contained a slightly odd dark discoloration. When opening the container, please take extreme caution and figure out the best way to capture the potent, sweet, stinky aroma. It’s pure, with an overpowering perfume that would make some fellow tokers walk away completely satisfied without a taste.
A few puffs on this gooey and crystal coated bud, well let’s just say, your evening is going to be quite relaxed.
I dig it. Great flower.
Peace
Actually a good strain to sleep peacefully. Has a smell sweeter than Britney Spears' s perfumes, with a clear mango scent.
