I am a super fan of Mother's Helper. I kinda went long on the strain and switched to Moby Dick which is good but it's not Mother's Helper. Anyway, I didn't think there could be another strain that could trump Mother's helper.
Glad Max is that strain.
Glad Max is almost a back-cross since Chocolope is crossed with Northern Light's #5 to make MH and Glad Max is Mother's Helper crossed with Chocolope again! I am not a fan of Chocolope on it's own but I guess I like it when crossed like this. Glad Max raises the bar for me when it comes to my head high. I don't feel high, I fill lifted and clear headed and more focused then Moby Dick which had an odd stony quality that would come on after about an hour I found myself getting easily distracted.
Mother's Helper makes me want to get up and do something which I really like about the strain. Glad Max is a bit more mellow and relaxed energy. It elevates my head high and cuts through any Spacyness.. Also good for muscle issues and anxiety.
You can definetly a difference in the bud structure. Mother's Helper has more popcorn like bud consistency and is more a muted green. Glad Max is a darker richer green with what looks like a 50 - 50 mix of hairs to bud. The bud looks kind of gritty like sandpaper Don't get if you are wanting to sleep or couch lock.
I have smoked and vaped. Smoked feels like a warmer more rounded effect where as the vape is loftier and pin pointed for me.
Hope you find this useful.

Really like this strain. Smoke enough of it and you'll feel like your on another planet and yet you can function perfectly well. You have to hand it to breeders. They come up with amazing strains and this is one of them. I've never had anything quite like it as it has a sharp focus.....and you're super, super high. Fun to walk around, as you have that light, floaty feeling. Energizing as well. I tried it after work and immediately perked up. The optimal time would probably be morning to mid afternoon. Bliss plus energy and clarity. It's in several dispenseries around AZ.
Glad Max is one of my favorite hybrids. The sativa dominance gives you that uplifted, euphoric and creative state of mind with the indica balancing out the high Witt focus and longevity. I enjoyed an emotional weightlessness and very happy energetic high that lasted longer than some of my favorite sativa. Pretty on the outside with a deeper green and large dark orange to brown hairs this strain is pretty on the inside with a higher avg thc content and a great earthy flavor. I only rate five when a strain really punches me in the face. Consider this 4.5. A great strain to help uplift and focus you without sticking you to the couch.
When I tried this, I had previously tried the Jack Herrer, which is light and bubbly. I found Glad Max to be as amazing as Jack Herrer. It just made me feel better...mentally, physically, emotionally...Everything felt better. I had no "heady" high, I was in a better mood, and happier than I had been in weeks. I recommend this strain if you want the relaxation, euphoria, and calm without the "heady" effects...There was only a small amount of psychedelic effects for me, but it made me feel bubbly and happy. I like Glad Max if Jack Herrer is unavailable. They are on the same level which I would call "Weed Light" It does the job without any heavy "heady" high. Glad Max does have a bit more of a heady feeling than Jack Herrer, but it's negligible. Try it if you want weed 'light' for daytime work. I can work perfectly fine after smoking and it is also energizing and creativity inspiring to an extent. That's just my opinion though. Try it for yourself! They carry it at Valley Healing Group in Bullhead City, AZ, most times I'm there.

this is the best cannibis I've ever had
Glad Max is damn good medicine, budget-priced at Monarch. Falls right behind Mother's Helper, at much less cost. It's good for medication as well as jubilation; it is more multi-purpose than Northern Lights, Blueberry or Willie's Wonder by providing pleasant cerebral and body effects, both. :-D Love Monarch but wish my discount applied to the $35 an eighth bud, especially when Monarch is quite a drive.
From browsing dispensaries, I have learned that $35 an eighth, with no discount and tax added on, is quite similar to $40 or $45 an eighth with 10% or 20% off and tax included. With actual costs just a couple of dollars apart depending on dispensary specifics, then it boils down to bud quality/quantity, distance, convenience and customer service over cost.
No matter the cost, Glad Max bud or honeycomb are pleasantly, happily awesome.
Glad Max is the smoothest no cough strain I have ever vaporized !
It has also given me the best clear headed energetic high that I can even sleep on if I want!
