Harlequin is totally an underappreciated strain in my humble opinion! Really great for what it is: a clear headed therapeutic experience!! My friend is a Marine vet with PTSD and this strain works VERY well for him, especially because he is very prone to paranoia effects from cannabis but is A-OK with Harlequin!
I love this strain for my fibromyalgia and back pain. Mild buzz, alert yet calm, the CBD really makes this strain. I plan as much as possible to always have this on hand.
First off must say, I'm not a stoner and haven't smoked since the early 80s. Back then in those days it seemed like we had only a few strains, Accupoco Gold, Columbian, Thai, and Skunk. Low THC (Compared to today strains). I recently started seeking out these high CBD strains, and this one was the first I tried. Right away the earthy columbian flavor instantly teleported me back to 1977. Can't forget that distinct flavor. Smooth inhale, and exhale. A bit more pepper flavor on exhale. Not a big fan of the flavor, but it's ok. Would prefer a more modern sweet or fruitier taste. The effect of a couple hits was slow and steady. Nothing drastic. A bit energizing in the mind with a content body feel. Did get a bit of upset stomach feel, maybe that was just me. Since this is not an Indica strain, don't use close to bedtime, it did not let me fall sleep at all. Kinda like a puppy, its fun to play with but it wont let you sleep. Overall it works, happy, slight head buzz, relaxing.
I am not a fan of Harlequin. It amplifies my anxiety problems. It makes me feel heavy and induces a strong head high. I don't get mad munchies, so that's cool. It sucks the energy out of me, though, and when I smoke it at night before bed, I wake up feeling super heavy and groggy. The high doesn't last that long for me and it makes my adhd symptoms much worse, unfortunately. Also, it burns the back of the throat and has made my asthma act up a little. Cool name, but I won't be back, Miss Harlequin.
Instantly as I was breaking up the bud I was reminded of the unmistakable smell of Thai stick from the early 80s! My body instantly relaxed and have no paranoia. my joints don't hurt my migraine is gone and this is not "couch lock, it's lay-on-your-back-and-feel-the-earths- rotation lock😉! All the while remaining fully alert! Highly recommend😋
Absolutely love this strain. The smell alone is intoxicating. A nice clear headed high that borders on euphoric. Full body relaxation that still allows you to go about your day or evening. Yet makes it very easy to drift off to sleep contently. Super strain for anxiety and depression. Seriously a favorite even though it's a little harder to find.
this stuff is the best it helps me walk again it helps me feel my feet again and it helps me understand what was actually going on with my body kudos to the grower and the person or people who came up with the strain thank you thank you thank you
I tried this in co2 cartridge. At first I thought this was a serious lightweight strain, don't be fooled. For me the effects were delayed. After my session I started to feel relaxed but didn't get the typical gum numbness untill half an hour in. The effects felt short lived and after 2 hours I started a 2nd session for the night. That kicked me pretty hard. This provided a nice body relaxation without the same giddiness. It however did little for stopping muscle spasms, but I wasn't as disturbed by them. Nice short body high at low dose and possibly easy to dial in your session length given enough time between short sessions. nice mild head high, so I could possibly see this as a daytime strain. Fyi this made my eyes hyper red for an extended period of time. This has been short lived with other strains and delivery methods.
