This strain is uplifting yet it can be very calming for ptsd when you're stuck in a ptsd induced panic attack (at least for me). The medical marijuana concentrate I have has a cbd rating higher than some indica strains but I can not remember the percentages. For concentrate: Taste is good, sweet and only light skunk notes on the exhale and when enjoying the aromatics of the vaped concentrate. Small doses are recommended for newbies as it can cause worsening panic attacks if you take too much. Yes this review seems to contradict itself, but different times of day give me different effects. Very much suggest this strain for overall daily use. will have to explore this strain more in a few months once Pennsylvania has full flower now that full flower has been approved by the medical marijuana advisory board for Pennsylvania. Here's to the future
I’ve never felt like I could accurately describe what a strain smelled like until I tried Cresco’s Island Sweet Skunk. It legit smells like Pepé Le Pew just opened a tropical fruit punch juice box. It’s a decent strain for daytime. You can chill out and watch tv but there’s no couch lock so if you feel like knocking out the to-do list you can. No hazy head feeling with this strain either. It’s a light and happy high.
My Island Sweet Skunk from Cresco was top shelf. Huge buds, like shrubbery covered in orange hairs and a frosting. In fact one of the buds is totally photo worthy, if I thought my photographic skills could do it justice, I would post a pic. A thick sweet citrusy aroma produces a cool, mellow vapor which tasted of pineapple. Gives a clear, focused buzz with some nice tingles. Pairs nicely with Lucky Charms and Saturday Morning Cartoons.
I like to use cannabis to see if I can enhance spiritual practices. First vape SATIVA strain “Sweet Skunk Island”. Three second draw and hold for short period. You experience almost instant blissful energetic experience with remarkable lucidity. I was playing Michael Hammer followed by Faure on the CD player as I prayed the 72 Divine Names for about 45 minutes taking a second and third draw during the prayer session. These were INTENSE devotionals to God on behalf of this entire reality. You know you are praying and petitioning and you know you are heard. Your prayers do seem to be magnified. To dream the only possible dream in this reality, and to feel that the realization of that dream is imminent. Now that is encouraging! This experience was cerebrally Cosmic in nature, the crack in the cosmic egg seems to open, you feel you are disengaged from the matrix, it’s literally a pure 3.5 hour LSD session in which you pretty much forget your Earthly identity, impersonally detach from the problems of this reality and focus on your inner spiritual identity and the Joyous Cosmology behind this reality. Remarkable, wonderful, joyous, blissful, hopeful, peaceful, beautiful! Nothing negative, no paranoia, other than slight pungent taste and little more harsh on the lungs than the Indica strain. I realized that you could take one draw during the day as a “pick-me-up” as you go about your business functioning without any impairment (though no driving). Unlike the Indica strain you feel neither wasted nor stoned. Since I now have both Sativa and Indica strain resin cartridges I can create my own hybrid experience going forward.
Nice functional high, not to heady, and good for work

Hello, and, "Thank You", for taking the time to read this review.
I've been around the block...64 years old, but there's so much more.
Island Sweet Skunk is a: "Twist Heem' One Up for the Hanima", smoke., (That's old Kauai veteran talk for, "Roll One Up, Man, and Do It Now.")
No worries after a few tokes, and it's rather smooth tasting, as I smoke it out of my seasoned, "Missouri Meersshaum",corn-cob pipe.
I got a good deal on an ounce, ($225 per oz.), so scoured the house for loose change, found $25.00 worth of coins, but had to finally resort to selling my 10 month old Grandson to a lady out in front of the WalMart for $200.00, and that was the deal maker.
Don't stress about my Grandson. The lady seemed really cool, and her 2 Pit Bulls were attentive and, although drooling a bit, and kind of growling, they were just, dogs being highly strung, dogs. My Grandson was a little scared, at first, but after one of the dogs licked his face and neck, he started to laugh and I know it'll be fine.
...And my son and daughter-in-law can pick him back up tomorrow afternoon, back out in front of the WalMart, because that's what the deal was with the lady and her dogs. She just wanted to be a, Grandma for a day and take some pictures with Hymie, (that's his name), and the dogs.
I'm certain that when I tell my kids about the great deal that I got on the, Island Sweet Skunk, that they'll be Okay with Hymie's sleep over with Glenda, Killer, and Ripper, (that's her's and the dog's names,; I just remembered them).
Island Sweet Skunk, is worth stocking up on. My kids got home about an hour ago, and although I originally thought that everything would be Okay, it's a little tense around here right now.
I am heading back down to the WalMart, with my son, and the local Sheriff, Cleotis Campbell, and his Deputy, Shamus O'Stoolagin, (he's of Irish heritage), and I'm pretty sure that we'll be able to track down Glenda's van, because the front windscreen is bashed in on the passenger's side. It looks like she might have hit a big animal, and their head went through the windshield.
I'll keep you posted,,,,
