I decided to write this review right now because Jack Herer is with me. In spirit only but is there a other better way? My first encounter with Mr. Herer happened while driving to Flagstaff Arizona. I was getting tired so I took an exit and drove down the road for a quick nap. Once there, I thought, if I’m just going to chill for a while I may as well try out this new strain in my arsenal. To my surprise, after vaping a little nug, my eyes popped open and I was no longer interested in nap. Apart from feeling a little boost in energy I just felt good. I was happy, inspired, and with piece of mind. Great first encounter. Definitely top 5 and perhaps even my favorite strain.

Oh yes. This strain does it. I have 9 grams of a particularly beautiful, dense, sticky, frosty, thick batch of Jack Herer from this amazing sleepy little dispensary right now. Smells exactly like most people say it does: like soap. Bath n Body Works type stuff. haha. This is what you are told sativas feel like. Some don't hit that mark, but Jack Herer does with a vengeance. A hot missile and firecracker of creativity goes off in your head, with a sharp tingly wave of energy around your temples and behind your eyes. This is a textbook classic sativa. What's more amazing is that this BOGO deal I got was MID SHELF!!! I must try a 'top-shelf' cut of this wonderful strain, as well as maybe read some of the stuff the man wrote whom this strain is named after. 9.5/10. King Sativa. My only worry is that with my recommendation you might get a lower quality cut of Jack. It seems really popular in SoCal. Look for dusty, ferny, faint bluish light green bud that's frosty and sticky and thick.

IF you love sativas, this is a must try. A true masterpiece for pure sativa lovers. The JACKpot. Very clean and piney/minty/spicy. Loose, bright green flowers (not tight nugs at all). (The Super Jack strain [missing here for some reason] literally blows out your sinuses like wasabi.) I smoke daily, and I tend to lean heavily towards hybrids, as I love the 'stone' and body effects. Jack gets 3.5 stars from me. It seems moreish as I can't seem to catch the hybrid stereo buzz I really like. The effects don't last long enough. If you love the effectiveness of a sativa, you will probably give this a five. They don't call it Jack Herer for nothing. Jack. Hard to sleep on it, but easy to be creative, productive and social. Zero burnout factor. Not my go-to strain, but I never turn it down and always try to keep some on hand (which never seems to happen with any strain, lol)

Jack Herer wakes you up, it lifts your spirits, and has a little kick to it that makes it a great day time strain. While sometimes the head high can encourage day dreaming, it stays relatively clear and certainly won't couch you. It's strength is in the mood enhancement. It may not be as physically relaxing and numbing as a good indica, but it offers great relief to those with a lot on their mind. It may get a little too spacey after a certain point. But I find that in moderate amounts based on tolerance I definitely remain productive. Overall while may relax your pace a slight bit it also provides what best can be described as "mental refreshment". Jack has a light citrus odor with fair hues of pine. It's a sweet flower to smoke. Refreshing indeed

Doesn’t make me drowsy or dull, but doesn’t make me so amped up that I’m paranoid either. Never really get “too high” with it. Definitely energizing and focusing- love using it throughout the work day since it doesn’t leave me impaired.

I've become well acquainted with this strain. My dorm floor, which consists of more than half stoners, also has a distributor with decent bud and better prices. Due to some complications with his provider, he ended up with Jack Herer for something like two weeks. This is definitely the most stress-relieving cannabis I've ever had the privilege of toking. It also sparked some interesting conversations with my friends that seemed to last forever. Unfortunately, it wasn't as creative a strain as I had hoped for, and that is one of the main attributes I seek out. Otherwise, mostly A's across the scoreboard.
