L.A. Cheese is one of my favorite strains & would likely be appreciated most by those with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or who want a gentle cerebral stimulation encouraging creativity.
I’ve used this strain in both flower & Live Sugar from Cresco. When smoking flower, the flavor & aroma is extremely smooth, creamy, & cheesy in the most pleasant way possible. The live sugar had more of a spicy, floral taste & aroma. Similar effects are experienced with both although the concentrate is slightly more sedative.
The come-up is gentle & relaxing but not couch-lock or anxiety inducing. Very subtle, relaxing physical effects present themselves along with a relaxed, clear headed mindset, without being sedating. This is my go-to for when I’m feeling especially anxious, depressed, going out in social situations, or when my creativity needs a nudge to get going.
This review does not do this strain justice. It’s very nuanced and pleasant, & I highly recommend trying this if you come across it.
I absolutely LOVE this strain in any form, but this review is based on smoking flower. I've smoked for a long time. Almost everyday, so I have a few miles. LA Cheese aka confidential cheese, is an insomniac's best friend. I have more luck falling asleep and staying asleep with this strain than I do with sleep aids. it doesnt matter the percentages, I've had it between 13% and 24.5% thc. On top of that, I deal with noticeably terrible anxiety. So far, I've smoked the flower, vaped some co2 oil, and took this sublingually under the tongue, and each time, I'm very pleased with its different medicating effects especially the insomnia, anxiety busting properties. The co2 oil, atleast, was packed with CBN also. If u want a spicy, cheesy strain for fun, this does it. If u have a problem eating, leveling out, and/or sleeping, choose this. Just be prepared to not go anywhere for a while. This particular review comes from ILLINOIS on a 24.46%THC batch of Shelby Count Community Services (SCCS) flower @ $40 an 8th medical.
I just smoked this strain for the first time and wow. Incredibly calming, full-body high. Great for my anxiety and CPTSD. Flavor was amazing.
Smoked two bowls, one pipe and one bong.
OK where do i start L.A cheese has me stuck in my seat i smoked the flower i deal with heavy anxiety and ptsd definitely helps me sleep alot better and stay asleep a insomniacs friend at first its a slow buzz and them whammm! Smacks the hell outta you definitely great aroma and strong body high
I only recently tried the Cheese strain for the first time, but really loved the rich, cheesy smell and taste. The high is very nice too, making me want to explore other Cheese crosses. All I had to do was mention my love of that strain to someone, and their immediate response was: “Oh, you like Cheese? Here’s something else you might like” following that by handing me an LA Cheese pre-roll.
And I’ve got to say, it’s every bit as good as it’s Cheese parent. The skunky, cheesy smell is fantastic… and by contrast with Cheese, this strain has more pronounced cheddar and peppery notes. I like it even better than Cheese, although I’ve only had that strain from one producer so far.
I think the combination of deeply relaxing physical effects and the gently uplifting euphoria would be just perfect for social gatherings or just hanging out with a friend...and for any of those times when you want your herb to put you into a vivid creative flow with no anxiety or paranoia.
I look forward to seeing some LA Cheese flower on our top shelf, hopefully in the not too distant future.

I can't believe that this is considered low grade! But hey I'm not complaining! 100 an ounce for this killer bud is a great deal and I always have it on hand! It's my go to for nighttime Netflix!
I had an rso of this strain from a company in illinois that stopped making it and started only doing sweet pea and Euphurkle for cbd and stopped any regular rso. it' was my favorite ever and hate that I can't find it. it's from shelby county in illinois. maybe someone will.see this and pass along the news. had a peppermint kush one too that was awesome as well
