Lavender Jones. Tread with ease. Read on (newcomers: see note about paranoia)
I bought this at the advice of my budtender at Altitude Littleton. I requested something that's good for stimulating the creative juices, and he suggested this. Buds are fuzzy and dense with a nice purple hue to them. Pleasant scent of lavender, pine, with a hint of oak. It does not have a skunky or kushy smell to it, and the scent profile seems sativa influenced.
When smoked, the flavor is quite pleasant and this smokes easily. I rarely cough with this strain, even with a super tiny pipe. It hits hard and fast in the head first, but the body effects subtly grow to be very potent. This can make this strain a bit too potent for some people as they will smoke more than they can handle.
The head effects typically lead me to constantly smile. I feel at ease, socialable. When smoked at high doses, it can be disorienting and almost feel hallucinogenic. Paranoia is a big deal with this strain - likely the worst in that category I've ever experienced among strains - new users, take note before you try this!
The body effects creep up on you, starting with a subtle couchlock amplifying to waves of sensation flowing through you. It can be overwhelming, even for an experienced user (I consider myself to be a significant smoker and this blew me away), so be careful, dont even think about driving, and see if you can last through a horror movie without screaming out loud while high on this.
You won't be able to.
On a serious note, this is a great strain, but it's not an appropriate strain for a patient with severe anxiety.
Highly recommend for indica users looking for a daily strain.
I’m an indica fan due to bad stress/anxiety issues and try to stay away from sativas but dabble in hybrids when looking for a day-to-day type of strain. Lavender Jones has to be one of the best daily strains to smoke. Within 5-10 mins you feel an intense heightening of senses as the the sativa starts to hit and mellows out within the next 10 minutes to a nice calming feeling from the indica. You feel calm yet focused and it lasts for hours! I feel great while performing my daily work.
Holy God this strain is potent! Got a half O from the disp today and only smoked 2 bowls, now im having the greatest experience of my life! Smoke this tree!
Personally I was not crazy about this strain in the slightest. I was suggested it when I told the man running the counter that I needed something for anxiety and adhd but have it keep me focused. I smoked it when I got home and almost instantly my anxiety was heightened and caused me to experience a panic attack.
I have been curious about this strain. mostly because it's parent is Casey Jones, a strain I've never had.
I picked up a half gram of crumble by Canamo and it tests at 71%THC last night. I did a dab when I got home to try it out of course, it didn't stand out because I had been smoking all day.
It's the 1st thing I've dabbed today and woohoo I have a lot of energy & I just feel depression melting away. I noticed a lot of people were commenting on this strains indica effects, it has an opposite effect on me I feel the sativa parent.
VERY unique high & it's distinguishable, unlike a lot of strains.

and takes the nausea away. Also a great pain reliever.
The high itself comes on almost immediately and lasts for hours.
Pick up this strain, it really is the best of both world's with the body buzz from Purple Urkle & the euphoria and feeling uplifted is from Casey Jones.

Peak: felt super relaxed and happy. Super talkative and just feeling real head high.
Mids: still really head high. thought a lot. lasted quite a while than most strains.
Crash: still head high but felt a good body high. legs felt numb along with my head. my head high felt like "flying." dreams were intensified and heavy sleeping.
This was the strain I wanted when I wanted to savor my food and bake desserts. Something about this strain makes good taste so much better.
It had a light, delicate herbaceous flavor. It reminded me of melon and herbs, with floral elements. I smoked this one before I bought my herbal vaporizer and definitely need to give it a shot now.
Unlike some people this didn't cause my anxiety to ramp up so I think I got lucky or maybe it was the grower. All good feels from this strain. Would definitely buy again.
Minus one star because I felt this strain did not last long for me, maybe an hour if that and since it didn't pacify me then it did not fully serve it's purpose for me. I have insomnia.

Now that I have your attention, I did NOT experience any heavy sativa / paranoia effects at all. my wife and I however have noticed VERY elevated levels of arousal and sensitivity on this strain. no couchlock, and pretty motivating. after a month the elevation is still going strong so it's not the new strain effect. no problem falling asleep, but I don't feel the strain helps with sleep, so if you have issues you might want a different strain for after, but do yourself a favor and get this for your next night in. I have been getting it from Lightshade in Denver.
