I have panic disorder and this strain actually helps a lot. It has a subtle calm coupled with an elevated mood. I feel less critical during this high.
I have debilitating chronic pain in the lowest part of my spine, so I look for the terpenes that lessen pain and inflammation. I found Layer Cake, made by “Modern Flower Hydrid Buds” and saw the high b-myrcene 1.46, caryophyllen .44, Limonene .42, humulene .12 and
9-thc .56 thca 28.51 I knew this would kill my pain and muscle spasms, also anxiety. It hits fast, right into the head and down the body. It’s an analgesic, but works so much faster and last as long as I need…when it wears off I’ll take another hit. I’m not a light weight, I’ve been smoking for years, I just don’t abuse it. It’s my medicine, so all I need of Layer Cake is one small bubbler bowl to feel this sweet and earthy tasting cake take over. It smells so good to, good medicine…smells of piney, earthy goodness. All I need to do is lay back and allow Layer Cake to take me to a place where I’m floating and have no pain.
Legally medicated strain review. Long time smoker, 1st time comment.
I picked up a 1g blunt from Curaleaf in Sanford, FL. Although the genetics say 60/40 Indica hybrid, it should have had a separate warning label. Within 20 minutes, and calling it quits 3/4 of the way, neither of us could move from our chairs. We had to carry each other to bed. The step up from the back porch to the kitchen, was like a special Olympics hurdle jump failure. So smoker be warned, a little slice of cake goes a loooooooooong way. It will beat you into submission, and pin you down. No matter how many times you scream "uncle'!! Not an 1st time or amateur level smoke.
I loveeee layer cake it’s the first strain i smoked after a two and a half year hiatus from weed. Absolutely gorgeous experiences every time guaranteed with this one! makes me wanna spend time outside, write, and dance (all of which are things i’ve been needing to do more often) and then an hour after smoking, it puts me in this smooth, deep, sensory trance. one of the best strains for working through ptsd and for a very uplifting kind of relaxation !!
I wish you were able to do half stars that way you could be more exact, but if I was able to I’d give it a 4 and a half stars out of 5. This strain is very strong. I’m hitting dabs and normally because of my high tolerance I have to take a few, Just one has me sitting here looking at my phone type in slow motion lol. Definitely strong and it’s a head high but also it’s a body high like if you think abt a head high you can notice the head high and feel higher same with the body high it makes no sense lmao. Also it’s very pungent, if you have people that don’t like the smell of weed around you then be careful smoking this. You will definitely smell your room or outdoors and if it’s bud they can probs smell it a few blocks down. Weeds legal in Ohio now so I’ll definitely be picking up more of this. THOUGH the version I have now is medical as I have epilepsy and I am 20 years old. Definitely my top 5 strains and close tn perfection
definitely has a heavy sedative effect and calm, relaxing and really mellows you out. I'd recommend this before bed.
Holy crap. This stuff is Strong, much like the ICC from Klutch, this stuff from Grow Ohio seems to really help with body pain, and for as potent as this one is, it's surprisingly clear headed. It doesn't really make me feel too sleepy despite it's absurd THC at 31.87%, but it is a relaxing high from the indica with all the positives of a potent sativa. A perfect hybrid to be fully medicated on the PM side of the day. My advice though, is go easy with it. Smoke a full bowl of this stuff and it will kick your ass. Absolutely no bone to pick with this one. It's maybe not the most euphoric but it is uplifting enough. You'll want to relax and maybe find a way to stay occupied from the creativity side of things.
Comes on in waves.
Really, really great strain.
It will mess with your mind, hard too.
