Depend what kind of 39 you Hit.. some time really good but some Times really bad..
This is great, I think its a 3.5/5. Beautiful buds, smells good too.
I think you are confused with the name. It's called M-40. But, still a great strain! Really pungent and leaves you with a great high. But the pungent is so strong that you need to triple wrap it in foil/ziploc bags to hold the smell in.

Smoked this strain from a bong and a pipe and it gave me a nice strong high. Good strain if you are looking to relax.
Very mellow buzz and ordinary taste. Not recommended for experienced users..

When I think of "Beasters" or smuggled BC Bud, I think of this strain and "Maple". Believe it or not kiddies, some people actually bred cannabis specifically to reduce smell in order to be able to grow and smuggle it easier. This strain is probably the best example of it. It ends up neutering the plant and giving you product that is simply "better then schwag" and that is simply how people tended to look at it.
The era I am talking about is like 98-03ish. We would sometimes find hay straws in our bag. My rust belt city has hosted International Hells Angels conventions and everybody in the area knew about the "cheap biker weed". Tended to be able to get an 1/8th for 40 bucks.
So in high school, at one point, I was impressed with this stuff. My how times have changed. I doubt this would really be able to sell on any market today. BC Bud used to dominate many areas of this country. I could get very high quality homegrown stuff, but beasters were always there and everybody had them.
This strain in particular did nothing special, tended to have no smell to an odd smell. Sometimes I wonder if they were actually trying to match the smells of truck containers and the road. If that was the case, then I'd have to give the breeder props to ingenuity.
I do wonder how this bud would look fresh and grown properly. Because the stuff I was seeing was being grown in massive illegal hydro grows, run by criminal organizations often using forced labors/human trafficked workers that do not flush or care about the end consumer. The lack of love put into the plant was palatable. Obviously, people who harm others are not going to often produce quality cannabis. Nobody I knew ever tried to grow any bag seeds of this stuff.
When I was a 16 year old buying this stuff, I had no idea that by the time I was 35 I would be able to use my medical card to purchase cannabis extracts in a store.
