Smoked a bowl of this and got inspired enough to clean my entire house. I felt incredibly accomplished and rewarded myself by eating a whole chicken. Most active day I've had in a while. If you can get your hands on this divine strain, you are one lucky individual.

Flavor: Maui Effect: Waui.

Honestly there's no way to describe this, you need to feel it for yourself. If I HAD to describe it, I'd say "It feels like being in a kangaroo's pouch while it's jumping." Great smoke!

This review is about the original maui wowie strain from 1979. Obtained a full oz of genuine maui wowie. It cost about $150.00 in 1979. My ounce was comprised of one 30 gram bud - that right, one huge seedless sensi top flower bud (cola). It took me about 3 months to smoke it all... the genuine maui wowie strain had a tropical flowery volcanic smell - this flower top had strawberry and purple hairs against a green bud and was full of sticky white trichomes. I had to store this bud in a clear plastic container so that this huge bud would not be crushed. I must say that this bud was ~ 20% THC with a rich terpene profile. It tasted and smelled like volcanic flowers with a hint of coffee. WITHOUT A DOUBT, this maui wowie was one of the three best flowers I have ever enjoyed. I will be writing additional reviews of all of my three classics so that the 20-40 year age group can appreciate the old landrace strains. Now for the high - 1.5 bowls provided a super energetic 8 to 10 hour Sativa high... The high was very happy, very spiritual, very uplifting. In addition, it was very speedy and very psychedelic - perfect for outdoor activities - bright colors , vivid music, with a pervasive creative atmosphere of real love - could feel and receive the tangible love of Jesus, the love of the Holy Spirit, and the love of God the Father. This is no exaggeration - it was that good!!! Heightened communication with my friends and with my girlfriend at the time..to the point of telepathy. I have had this strain a few time since but the quality of the bud paled in comparison to the mighty genuine maui waui imported straight from Maui Hawaii... Remember, the terrior of the soil makes all the difference - sungrown with love - you have not had the genuine bud unless it has that flowery volcanic smell and taste.... Surely will be in the Cannabis Hall of Fame

Woah. A really distant high. The come-on feels like I'm being pulled back from the neck with tingly stomach butterflies when you're excited about good news. Chilling waves of numbness course over my upper torso. I can't get over how distant the head-space is. It also significantly skews your perspective on life. It's a competent high, keeping you in control all the time. Quite cool and easy to gel with...comfortable. Everything is super enjoyable! Man, this is a potent high! Lasts for a long time at a high intensity. Head buzzing. Every one of my 5 senses is noticeably heightened! Music is completely encompassing - you reside deep within it. Songs are more thrilling and emotionally moving...consistently fresh, compelling, and at the peak - unbearably exciting (as good, if not better than Bubba). You can literally FEEL yourself hear sound. Music cascades down your ear canal in a most alluring, sexy way. Has a similarly long, but more heavy and suppressed comedown that's not disabling.

Maui Waui. what the fuck, this bud is amazing and erybooody should try it. the taste is as if a kiwi and strawberry fucked and had a kid, then a mango and a pineapple fucked and had a kid, and those kids fucked and had a kid and they made a maui waui fruit bud, but seriously this shit is some of the nicest shit ive smoked in a while. gets yo mind runnin down the mofuckin street and got you light as a feather. the body high is euporiaic and you gonna crap yo pants. yoou gonna get horny as fuck, but im horny whenevr i smoke any bud. so buy this shit as soon as you can if you tryna have a good time. -_- have fun :)

Had copped a 1/4 of this bud was a nice strong creative high. The type of bud that turns you into a best selling book writer.

I really love this strain. As a middle of the day type smoke it's one of the best. I just picked some of this up at the local store it was sold in the mids area like 40 an eighth but it was great quality bright emerald green with bright orange hairs and this stuff was nice and dense gave a great snap breaking it up. First thing I love about this strain is its basically The Hawaiian weed when you think Hawaiian weed Maui Waui is the first strain that comes to mind. The smell is great very sweet with different notes of pineapple people used to always say that it tastes tropical and I thought thats stupid what flavor is tropical anyway? But when you taste a good crop of this stuff it really does taste tropical I mean it's the best description. The smoke is nice and smooth very sweet citrus pineapple flavor with the upbeat high of a typical sativa but with just enough indica relaxation to make this stuff maybe a little too stoney for people expecting a pure sativa but I really like it! Again maybe a tiny bit to relaxing to start the day but then again maybe not.
