Upon moving to Colorado, I was excited to try my first CBD dominant strain to treat my anxiety, especially because cannabis has been actually heightening it as of late due to racy thoughts. I was happy to find that Mystery #98 is a high quality strain that I have enjoyed very much. The 1/8th I purchased tested for approximately 2% THC and 12-17% CBD.
Upon smoking my first bowl I made the observation that it “felt like weed used to feel” before enjoying it became more difficult. The cerebral effects were mild, though present, and much more controllable than a racy high THC strain. I believe there was some very mild color brightening as well. A relaxed sedation, both mentally and physically, permeated the high.
Unfortunately, I didn’t find the flavor to be as enjoyable as some of the other strains here, it didn’t detract from the experience that much, but may be notable to some who do not desire harsh smoke. It had a very harsh woody flavor.
Overall effects noticed:
+Mental and physical relaxation
+Calm, clearheaded headspace
+Mild-moderate anxiety relief
I’m very excited to try more strains like Mystery 98.
I tend to get paranoid and panicky with many chemo-vars, even mid range thc level flower, this is awesome, complete relaxation without surrendering any cognitive function, no paranoia, no panic attacks, just great head and body relaxation, but clear headed, I have a very low tolerance as I haven’t used regularly since high school, but a high cbd flower is what I was searching for, but I wanted the full plant benefits, the label stated 0.2- 3% thc and the cbd was in the 22% range, I can’t recommend this enough, first review I’ve ever submitted, I’m close to 50, a non-combat veteran, and a deeply committed follower of Christ, so thankful He created this incredible non addictive medicine, I will be trying M98 in every form available, but I’m a sucker for flower, loved the terpene profile, earthy, a little fruity, wow, so happy I found this. If you’re looking for relaxation and maintaining a high level of functionality, try M98
Great strain. Very pleasant high. The cbd content was great it helped alot with my crohn's disease and stress. The smell and taste were great. The buds were huge, sticky, dense and covered in trichomes. I have seen a couple different names i had Mystery 98 #1 but I have seen #4 as well and another #1 that was claiming to be og kush crossed with a unknown cbd. mine was pre bubba 98 crossed with an unknown cbd. I absolutely love this strain. I cant remeber the smell and taste profile because I had it last year but I highly recommend this strain.

My girlfriend loves this strain. It's relaxing and helps her sleep.
OK, guys – – I seldom do reviews, but I had to come here to tell you this: this sativa puts me to sleep – – I'm talking into a coma – – every time I hit it more than three times (and OMG when I hit it more than six times!). Any opinions on this? I am completely mind-boggled. The eyelids grow heavy with this one, and there are no ill side effects (such as the munchies or paranoia or racing thoughts). I wish I had more than one of these.

I’ve tried many high CBD strains and this one has the best effects for me. I mix it with my regular bud and it helps keep it super mellow. Helps with ptsd, anxiety, and depression.
Excellent CBD strain. It has that "cherry cough drop" flavor noted in many high CBD strains. Highest CBD flower I've had. At 16.34% from The Herbal Center in Boulder, CO. Great for anti-anxiety and helping with deeper sleep. I use THC indica strains to treat PTSD, and subsequently insomnia, depression and anxiety. I've coupled this CBD strain with them and it really adds to the effectiveness. Especially with sleep. Full disclosure; initially I was really turned off by the flavor of the smoke, but adjusted to it quickly, especially knowing the benefits it had produced.
