Damn good taste and amazing colors in the herb that smelled perfect. The high was super clean and intense. Very nice indeed!
This strain is one of the best. It just smokes so damn easy. I can take hit after hit, then just fly! This is perfect for hanging out with friends; you'll want to chat, hang out, and go through giggle fits together. You will get thirsty and you WILL get the munchies.
Personal favorite. Makes me want to take a bike ride or rock out.
I don't know if I like this strain to be honest. I have had this strain now for two days. The first smoke off the sack had me feeling happy, talkative, hungry, creative, and I even spaced out for about 15 minutes day dreaming. It was a really good stone that crept in slowly and leveled out at a 6/10 potency. The next day I smoked a bowl and I found myself couch locked, sleepy, and spacey. The come down leaves me feeling slightly burned out. I believe this strain to be great for depression above all things.
Was feeling a little wound up, with racing thoughts, so I decided to try some Northern Lights #5 while watching the 1967 Suspense-Thriller "Wait Until Dark" for the first time. It took quite a few hits over about 1/2 an hour to finally feel kind of stoned. I kept getting distracted from the film but gradually faded into a nice high. I would call it a very "curious" high because I kept thinking of things I wanted to look up online. I still felt productive and coherent but I didn't seem to be able to zone out too well. I ate a bunch of food and then finally went in search of something comedic instead, settling on the british comedy series "Saxondale" for the thousandth time. Overall I think it's an ok high - glad I tried it but probably wouldn't seek it out again. It did take the edge off of my anxiety by getting my mind occupied with other things.
Let me tell you a story, about NL#5 being imported from Amsterdam in 1992.
A beautiful girl, Eva, brought back seeds in her bra on the airplane.
She also brought back, some of the actual coffeeshop bud. I smoked it. From the taste explosion of flowers and sugar, came multi-colored shooting stars in my vision peripherals - before I exhaled each hit.
It was not an energizing high, it was blissful, without being stupefying. A kind 'Awesome' feeling without the fear.
When those seeds were grown, we found a mix of SK1 phenos, NL2 rogues, and And a classic SK1 x NL5.
NL5, in a perfect world, if I could get real NL5, would be my go to for evening/night.

Works great with ulcerative colitis
The first time I smoked Northern Lights, I laid on a pull out couch listening to Pink Floyd for what seemed like hours. That’s all. No complaints!
