Has me more faded than a cow to the slaughter house, and I have a tolerance and consume dabs here and there. I consumed this flower in a xlux roffu (convection dry herb vaporizer) at medium temps. I must say this strain packs a whopper, it has a classic hashish spicy pine woody flavor and aroma with hints of tropical fruit (Mango / myrcene terp). It was smooth inhale/exhale, a little trickle on the throat, but no coughing. Feel heavy like I'm wearing pounds of leaves on me.
It's ridiculous that this is a best kept secret indica. I am about to take a kush nap, had to drag myself to write a review and think.
If you spot Northern Lights don't fear cop an 8th of it, worth trying at least once in your lifetime, it's a true classic (tm).
Northern lights started by a man named Mike, in the UP of Michigan. It took him several years to get it where it was when he sold it to the guys in Holland. I used to buy it from him as early as 83, right on through the late 80s. I know all this because Mike was my nextdoor neighbor.
Northern lights is one of my favorites. I’m am currently extremely high from vaping this strain (86%) that I got at curaleaf. I cannot remember the last time I’ve been this high. It’s awesome. I’m bipolar 1 and I use Indica strains to chill out and sleep and Northern Lights is one of the best. I’m binge watching Disjointed on the couch. The only negatives are extreme dry eyes
and mouth. Definitely give this one a puff!
Shalom brothers! i have gay
Finally got my hands on this strain for the first time. My doctor told me if I ever found it to get it! I got mine from Gulfport MS and it’s grown by southern herb co. I usually roll into small joint and smoke so I did that tonight. At 9:21pm I took about 3 good hits and laid down with the hubs. The arousal effect is there but not your normal tingling, but it definitely gets the juices flowing some how. But here it is 10:08 and I’m writing this review. I’m experiencing amazing body high, I suffer from fibromyalgia and CMT and just attended a rock concert last night and barely got any sleep. Not to mention my pain today was above normal. Right now it’s like my body is a cloud, absolutely no pain! Sleepiness? No way. Not feeling sleepy at all. More energized which will be no good for me to use at night. But I don’t have any jitters or racing heart like I do with some hybrids and sativas. So as far as the indica effect I give it 3 stars. Body high, calmness, focus, and pain relief I give it 5 stars! Worth a try!

Smoking this is like lowering the shades on your brain.
So i originally bought this bud with the intent to sell but i had heard so many stories about that i had to try it. on the outside it looked like nothing speacil, it just looked like another normal bud. So me and my friend made a little apple bowl and smoked maybe 3 or 4 bowls. Right at the end of the sesh, it hit me. It was the highest i had ever been in my life. It was a head high and i could even function. I was trying to talk too girls but they would ask me questions and would just stare at them like a dumb ass. \Great high though, the shit that went on in my heasd was simply mind blowing. If you ever get a chance to try this bud do it. You wont be dissapointed
Classic starry-eyed indica that deserves its marvelous reputation. Superb medicine, both physical and mental. No exaggeration, probably my favorite go-to strain after a long day of physical labor. Your lower back will love you. Migraines be gone.
What I love about Northern Lights is that it's such a level-headed indica, meaning it will do all those beautiful indica things to you but not get you stupid, dysfunctional high. IMO, one of the few true indicas that you could get away with in the daytime (though probably not at work). Nighttime is great too though, weather you're chilling by the fire, chatting with friends, or taking a bubble bath.
A very nice, calm thoughtful stoned feeling that sends ripples of peace through your limbs, from ankles to shoulders and up and down your spine. Brain quiets way down, excellent for ADHD or Anxiety as it just shuts up all those negative voices and focuses on the good and simple things in life.
Vaping the bud, I got a nice blend of pine, rosemary, and clove. A very yummy milky smoke too, and a pleasant honey-like smell that follows. I kid you not--I got a cinnamon roll aftertaste, too. Burnt marshmallow, fuck yeah.
Also, for those who grow, Northern Lights is a terrific plant for home grow-op, even from seed. Low, bushy, not-stinky plants that top out at 1 meter, provide plenty of flower and smell sweet. Harvests quickly, cures nicely, and lasts a long time. I got nearly a pound off two plants!
I also made tincture with the stems and leaves and popcorn buds, and let me tell you, that stuff will put you to sleep for a solid 9 hours, and no hangover!
Anyway, do it. Don't skip over it because it's a classic and pretty universal. There's a reason why. None of these crazy trendy new strains can hold a candle to this indica princess. Smoke enough and you'll glow stronger than Aurora Borealis.
