Famous for good reason. Very relaxing, although some days I didn't feel I was getting the full sleepy effect. full disclosure I have insomnia along with a couple other sleep deprivation ailments. So the avg person will likely be knocked right out. Great strain though, perfect for taking it easy at home.

I found that this strain of bud was very relaxing, but I find that it should be cheaper, and less hyped up. I find it is a great bud if you need something to put you to sleep, or if you really need to be less paranoid, or anxious. Make sure to drink LOTS of water, and have lots of munchies, because not having either leads to a very bad ending. I ended up drinking from my friends faucet, not a fun time. Overall I liked it, but it is very much like fire mids, but to me it seemed very easy to control myself, even after taking bong rips.

This is some very potent marijuana, and the winner of the 1990 high times cannabis cup. the buds are dense, sticky and covered in resin. this bud is hard to break up without scissors, and it sticks together after it is broken up. it taste sweet and has a spicy taste on the exhale. this kept me happily medicated for around 3 hours with a pretty hard comedown, (off a 2g blunt). i would recommend this strain to those with a high tolerance like myself.

The reason i gave Northern Lights an 8 is because of its overall quality. I remember smoking NL back in the late 90's. After smoking the strain recently, i see why it is still one of top strains. Great for medicating, NL is favoriated among growers for its strong traits and ability to be crossed with other cannabis plants. Northern Lights is a great looking and smelling bud. Real sweet, piney smell. Clean, lite, organic taste. Nice, clear, stoney high. Strong, but not over powering. Great for relaxing, or chilln with some friends. Should be in everyones collection of cannabis. Great Strain...

Not all that impressed. Definitely NOT a head clearer, get too fuzzy/hungry/sleepy for this particular Sativa. Funny since my new fav sativa (Super Dank) has N.L.for a parent strain. :shrug:

This is one of the most famous strains of marijuana and with good reason. I normally smoke hybrid strains, and this was my first full Indica. It did not disappoint. I had only ever experienced head highs, and this was the first body high I'd ever gotten. Quite pleasant. Perhaps it was because I only took one hit (I like to do a review for each time I smoke, increasing the hits by 1 every time) but I was less than thrilled. The high was not bad by any means, but it was just not what I had expected from something so famous. It also may have been the drying of the buds and the degradation of THC. Unfortunately, thats what you have t deal with when you can't get it medically. Taking peoples words that it is the strain they say and that whomever grew it grew, dried, cured and stored it properly. Overall I'm not going to call it yet, I'll have to smoke it a few more times before I can get an official opinion. A nice body high and it let me sleep like a baby when I wanted to. A wonderful strain for insomnia, but more of a night cap strain, not so much a party type.

Calming effects. Makes you sleepy after an hour or two. Things seem pleasant. You feel like you are in a different world. Relaxes your body. Your logic remains intact, making it more of a body high.

Gives me night sweats for some weird reason. Makes me nauseous at times too.
