Really good strain, had it from the can, which I think is the best idea, when you opening, it's smells awesome fresh.
But to the point, I felt really good, you feel very relaxed, open minded, happy, you feel like everything is going a little bit slower and very good actually,, your body is full relaxed, hmm I will say it's very very good, this is a good strain, I will say it's perfect strain for day basis routine actually what I like, doesn't make you lazy, you want to do everything, so... Just do it 😄👍
"Smoke in a Jazz Club, /
The drummer plays pots and pans,
Making me hungry."
Makes you feel relaxed before bed. It tastes pretty good, and the high is pretty subtle, so your heart rate won’t be pounding before bed.
It's been about three years since I've had this strain. I loved smoking it to help me sleep in a high speed low drag university environment. This was my nightcap! And a very powerful nightcap. Now I have it in concentrate form (shatter). The aroma is very sweet almost like a forest bouquet with a hint of pepper on the finish. The effects are almost instant. Feeling it in the eyes my whole body feels like melted taffy and my SNAFU back pain and PTSD/anxiety gone to the wayside. Cerebral effects are dreamy and gentle as time slows way down. If you're a born insomniac like me this will put you down for the count.
If you are disappointed in the power and potency, or even if it's not to your taste wondering what all the hype is about then you either had from a grow of exceptional incompetency or was lied to about what you just smoked.
There are many modern strains that are truly glorious. Northern Lights had withstood the test of time, not only did it rise to one of the greatest strains of all time when it was first bred but still is one of the best by the standards of the newest and greatest growing today. This isn't about old school vs. new school, in general the new school strains are progressing to better and better effects, this is about a timeless empress of cannabis. It may not be your absolute favorite (but there is a good chance it will be) but it'll be a strain you will never want to be without for those times only the best of the best indicas will do.
So, ummm, yeah, it's good weed. Gets ya all stoned yo.
The high is AMAZING! – It hits you like a train with the heavy anxiolytic/numbing body stone from head to toes.
It exacerbates your senses as well - thanks to its mild psychedelics properties. If you drink cold water you will feel it rides down through your throat and chest like a cold waterfall. Same if you spill it on your skin, but instead it feels like an iceberg.
I experienced some closed-eyes visuals but nothing that intense to talk about it any further. Heavy limbs and serious cotton mouth case are thse downsides. In small dosage though, the sativa trait of Thai uplift you and get you focused.
What's standout the most is the euphoria. Bursts of laughter/giggles for no reason during 45min+! Despite the sedative effect, it isn't debilitating at all and your mind is clear and not confuse.
Don't over do it because as many other strains side effects, it is gonna skyrocket your anxiety/paranoia level at worse. Avoid drinking alcohol while you are consuming it because it causes the same indesirable side effects as mentionned above.
Aromas from the jar - 4 weeks of curing- radiate a powerful sour citrusy skunk smell who fills my entire room within few seconds as well as the classic spicy/earthy NL perfume;
The taste are much better – sweet spicy/earthy smoke with undertones of pine and citrus upon the exhale;
I'm currently using a cartridge and I'm loving the effects. I have chronic pain in my back and hip, I also have nerve pain after my second back surgery this is wonderful for my pain. After about 15 mins I can feel my body just completely relax and my pain melting away.
Great strain. Very earthy, and pine-like flavour. Got me instantly relaxed, a little dizzy, but overall feeling pretty good. It's the kind of stuff you'd take if you wanted to relax after a long day, or something to lull you to sleep. It's fairly potent, but tastes great, and gets you into a full body and head high. All I could do was relax back on the couch, listen to some Nero and Rezz, and just get couchlocked. Discovered my favourite strain right here.
