I've been searching high and low for this strain since I first heard of it, so when my guy told me he had some, I was cautiously optimistic. He let me try a small bowl and I can see why this is one of the most popular strains on Leafly. An inhale of this strain tastes pine-y and earthy, with a berry aftertaste; two tokes, and you can tell your stress, depression and anxiety to stick it where the sun doesn't shine. I do feel spacey and lost in my thoughts, so unless you have tremendous willpower, I wouldn't recommend NL for daytime use or if you have shit to do. Also, this is the first strain I've smoked that's made me giggly. Not sure why that is. But Northern Lights lives up to its hype and I'm glad I finally got the opportunity to try it. If you come across this gem, stock up!

I love this strain so much! I have fibromyalgia and today the body pain and spams were a 10, vaped this and I’m all relaxed, pain has subsided and I went from being in agony to complete relaxation. I love this before bed I get the best sleep!

Got this in a pre-roll at my local dispensary. Not gonna lie, it was the name. I figured that being out under the stars would be fitting for Northern lights. And man, it did not let me down. Waves of euphoria and calm bliss. What a perfect campfire cannabis. I felt this mainly in my body and not in my head, which i liked. I felt that I could keep up with a conversation and not get tangled up in my words. And enjoy the sights and sounds of the out doors. And my sleep was very deep.

5 stars is for 1991-1992. The true original came around my area from a beautiful girl named 'Eva' that traveled to Amsterdam. She brought back seeds, she grew them in a farm field in mid-Illinois. Some of the most psychedelic, all-consuming weeds I have ever smoked. These days NL is just a remnant. The genetics are so faded, you might as well look elsewhere - but you won't ever find a high like 1991 NL5, you just won't - it's gone forever.

Since I got back into smoking after a long hiatus, I wanted to grow this strain because it sounded so heavenly. I wasn’t successful with my attempt at growth, and didn’t have a chance to even be near this strain until a few days ago, so bet your behind I got some pre-rolls, and let me tell ya, this.strain.is.amazeballs!!! I was tired and hurting after traveling all day yesterday, so when I got home, I lit up, and within the first quarter of the roll I was so stoned and sleepy and comfy that I didn’t even want to get off the sofa to go to bed. Now I really want to try growth again with this strain but I need to do more research. 10/10 would smoke this every single night.

As someone who struggles with anxiety and bi-polar cannabis has helped a lot. Unfortunately I have found any strain with even a small amount of sativa causes mania and paranoia with uncontrollable shakes. I have been looking for a pure indica strain and this is THE ONE. This one gives an amazing anxiety free body high with a cozy head but a clear one. It helps me with my chronic back pain as well giving instant pain relief. The flavor on it is amazing to say the least. If you have bad anxiety with certain strains this is an amazing bet. This strain also causes anxiety related disassociation but rather grounds you to reality but also a relief from the anxiety of reality. 20 minutes in and I know this will help with my insomnia. this is by far a great strain pain relief 10/10 anxiety and depression relief 10/10 overall euphoric and fun high 9/10

Started smoking this strain recently and am absolutely in love with it. Its great if you prefer Indica!
