This strain is great for migraines, insomnia, and relaxing. It'll put you to sleep, at least in my experience, but not before very effective pain relief. If you're up and doing something, it definitely has a euphoric effect, but I'd definitely recommend this strain be smoked in the evening when you need to unwind, or if you need pain relief.

I think of it as an uplift. I’m relaxed , happy , and confident. I feel golden. I think of it as motivation. I wanna say energetic but then I wouldn’t at the same time. Not the SUPER energetic but the casual energetic. Like a jog sort of energetic.

I've had various derivatives of this (could find Obama Care by name) #2 And #6 both from La Mota East side and both were flavorful and mellow, little less on the THC avg around 15% and I usually prefer over 20%. Still produced a mellow head high, very nice after a stressful day of work

when you just want to smoke and smoke without the super-high headspace. not motivating, but certainly won't hinder any project you get yourself into. pleasant, happy, no edge. not a sedative but won't make you hyper.

As a medical first user, but also recreational, this and purple hindu kush are my 2 faves! This strain isn't a daytime med (contrary to the description), but works amazingly well for pain (particularly nerve pain, I broke my humerus in 27 places during a car accident). Obama Kush has no mental clarity, thousands of smiles, and an amazing body high. Definitely a recommendation for nerve issues and a good time. (I've tried oil, and flower with the same effect, which is rare)

if i smoke obama kush i get pretty sleepy. i do feel very relaxed def. for night time. the aroma is sweet and maybe earthy like dirt. the taste is fairly smooth tastes a little earthy. the nugs have dark spots of purple with lots of orange hairs sorta dense. its very calming.
