This is my favorite. Helps with my anxiety, without making me feel stoned. I just feel "normal." If I use it at night, it helps relax me without having "couch lock." I can just ease into sleep. I have arthritis in both thumbs, and Purple Sunset helps relieve my pain. When I use this I don't have anxiety, and my arthritis eases.
I usually hate indica’s, but accidentally ended up with this strain. I have bad insomnia so I decided to give it a try.
Pretty mellow high, but what I loved is it seemed to significantly slow down the racing thoughts in my head! I am definitely an over thinker with bad anxiety. This strain made me feel like my brain said “peace, I’m taking a vacation!” It was actually quite enjoyable although it didn’t make me as sleepy as I would have hoped for with my insomnia.

such a great wake and bake bud. Great taste. Gives you that boost I was looking for A+
Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL bud with lots of beautiful unique smells to it. Almost a spicy, graph smell, pungent and delicious! Initially a very relaxing and euphoric high, great for pain and anxiety, depression too. Very uplifting, gave me a sense of peace and happiness, one of my new favorite buds! Picked up from Acanza, definitely an afternoon/nighttime smoke.
Purple sunset by bone creek. What a lovely fragrant flower. I spent several minutes just enjoying the complexity of the scent. There is a primary note of classic mandarin-- sweet, juicy, like the oils on the skin. It's a lush, living scent. Past that scent I got a strong smell of dried pine needles. Actually pretty dank. The smell filled the room before I even opened it. While smoking I didn't notice any taste in particular other than just cannabis. It came in slowly but deliberately, over the next thirty minutes I slowly and steadily and consciously elevated with this medicine. Purple sunset just lowered the volume on everything and slowed me down by 75%-- just enough to be completely relaxed yet completely alert and aware. Peaceful, like a zen garden. Things around me are moving but in my mind is stillness. I felt the usual pain in my body and mind just melted away steadily. It was like taking off a very heavy, stuffy coat. Like I could just hang up my pain on the wall and walk away for a little while. I burned a little pine smudge to match the mood and it really mixed well with the experience. My sense of smell was definitely heightened. I also felt it relaxed my stomach (I had a little pain before smoking) and helped me to breathe very deeply (I usually breathe very shallow). Purple Sunset helped me so much I felt like I got the keys to my brain back. I could see myself doing a slow and relaxing activity. Drawing or sculpting, a leisurely bike ride, a stroll through a forest. Overall just such a pleasant smoke I was really taken away by how lovely this one was. Just a really nice darn simple strain. Such good medicine. Thank you Bone Creek. Showed me what some really nice NY flower is like!
First 60 min calm, quiet. Head buzz. Didn't have the staying power for me.
Picked up at Curaleaf in Florida. THC - 18.4%. Buds were small, dark purple with orange hairs. Smell was sweet and earthy. It was listed as an indica but felt more like a hybrid as it didn't put me in the couch but did relax me. Everyone is different so this is normal. It didn't bother my anxiety at all. Just didn't feel very strong. Tried again with some 9lb. hammer crumble and they combined nicely for a mellow session. Helped with lowering the pain in my back area. Not bad but not one of my top recommendations.
Loving this strain I picked up from Curaleaf. Very nice motivated high.
