I smoked this strain around 1990, 91 - haven't seen it since. Those of you that think this is available at your pot shop - you are wrong, it is extinct.
Thank your gov for confiscating millions of seeds.
I have not smelled SK#1 in 20 years.
For those that care - SK#1 had a spicy aroma. Spicy, skunky when smoked.
The high was 50/50. Very focused, but could be lazy. Body buzz bordered on couchlock, but your motivation could overpower it.
Mild euphoria, more happy instead.
The taste kept you coming back for more hits.
Cinnamon, spice, skunk, earth.
Notably: There was no diesel or fuel flavor, just sweet cinnamon skunk.
I wish you kids could smoke what we had in the old days, notably Colombian Gold and Panama Red which rank on my 'MOST Missed' list, along with good ol' Skunk #1
The original! In my opinion, it is my favorite strain of all time. There is nothing like it. Skunk has similar mind effects to the Hazes, but less potent. The body effects are mostly euphoric, with it being a great strain for lounging, socializing, adventuring, getting creative, or the erotic. The smell is the most inviting dank on the planet! I have to bote, as others have, that Skunk #1 is just as good as it was at least 15 years ago, and many old-school growers have been growing this strain since the 80's or longer.
To note, my favorite strains in order ar: Skunk #1, Special Queen #1, Super Silver Haze, Jack Herrer, Maui Waui, Durban Poison, and Sour Diesel. Probably gives up my age a bit, but if you like any of these strains or their descendants, give Skunk a shot!
Old school type buzz very munchie and a little parinoia. This is the one that got back into growing!

im not a skunk guy--- stick with hazes
Crystal clear head high, kinda tingly/buzzy behind your eyes. Gets me feeling creative.
Picked an oz for £195 some of the best smoke about the UK right now. Quality grow, Quality grind and smells AMAZING. Highly recommend 7 years smoking.
Great buzz of euphoria and relaxation
that’s my favourite for music production, it’s unique and crucial for jams
