I've been growing this strain for about 4 years now and I LOVE it. The only thing I do not like is the really long flowering period; it takes approximately 90 days for this amazing tasting and wonderful Tangerine Skunkie aroma! Other than that this momma grows well inside and out, easy to clone but long to finish. I've crossed this strain with AK-47 in hopes to lessen the flowering period, but it only took about a week or so off the 90 day flowering period. Furthermore, the crossed strain was named Agent Tangie in which I've created a very potent but different tasting strain. Agent Tangie, is listed on this site and most of the if not all the pics are from me. I'm about to add some from some Tangie, and Agent Tangie that were grown using LED lighting for the first time...... Hope everyone enjoys the pics, and maybe one day you'll all get to try some Agent Tangie if you like the Original your really gonna like the Agent Tangie & all it's other crossed sisters...
There's two different pheno types for this Strain, one is really tight nugs but has a peppery woody earthy taste. While phenom type 2, has a really strong Tangierine and Sunk smell to it.
Tangie produces more Terpines and stays within the Rosen even after EXTRACTION making it one of the most sought after strains in the world... I just made my own Tangie Cookies and crossed both phenos with Girl Scout Cookies. freaking love this Strain. just made my own E-liquid, and its amazing....And Verry Potent!!!
A Loved and rare favorite from the past I forgot about tangie, it was some of the first cannabis I tried it was really nice the first time trying it. Now that it's back after 4 years of it's absence and trying it again we can get a fair judgement or at least I can.
Taste: extremely citrus for a perfectly named strain, I notice, Pungent first hit, on exhale you can taste the fresh grassy citrus, kind of passion fruit very smooth, not harsh at all perfect for those beginners looking to see what the sativa side is all about.
It hits my head and eyes first making everything pop out more, the dull becomes interesting, and light fractures carry out the interesting sides of pretty much everything. My mind is up to speed I feel happy and energetic creatively I can feel a flow of energy rushing into my hand. This is very thought provoking however its not intrusive at all I feel happy and a little hungry. It creates more of dry eyes and more dry mouth, so bring some h2o with you. Tangie is on the lighter side, though the effects are not a joke, it can make you giggle though if you get too punchy lol.
The Looks: The leafs are spread open it looks like a ballerina that is saying hello with her curtsy dress. Quarter like the coin sized nugs mini foxtails on each branch in all different directions more towards the upright crown. The calyxes are hard to see on these rich amber pistols light green leafs while leaving darker curls more around the mane crown. Heavily frosty, and dantey being cautious with this bud as it breaks easily; tested at 21% THC.
The Medicinal Effects: I feel some pain still however I am a creative happy relaxed, in a stony way motivated powerhouse. I can still feel some hunger so that's encouraging for my anorexia. I feel my head and mind are relaxed and stress free. It helps with tinnitus I don't hear any ringing except after listening to music. It corrects my hearing which is great for making EDM. Helps gets rid of fatigue, ADHD, Writers Block, Depression, and eye pressure, as well as the conditions I have already listed.
The Smell: Is a bit skunky musky earthy tones with old rosemary and horsetail skunk like is a bit too vague for me. When I taste/ smell skunk it's different all the time it can either be pleasant or unpleasant it just depends. 4 1/2 out of 5 Stars if I could for overall experience of this strain. It's good to great, though the effects can still be too light. Overall great the only side effects is a little bit of a headache and dry eyes with a dry mouth that's about it fantastic otherwise :D.
I so wanted to love this strain, after reading all the positive reviews here and that it's supposed to be good for anxiety/depression. Alas, I must be really THC-sensitive, because it definitely makes me paranoid. (Granted, I suffer from agoraphobia and social phobia; but that's partly what I want to medicate.)
Anyway, I smoked some before attempting an outing to a Dodgers game, and I freaked out when we got to the stadium -- WAY too much stimulation in my medicated state -- and had to turn around and flee for home without even going into the stadium.
Effects obviously vary from person to person, but I would recommend sticking to high-CBD/indica strains if you have a fear of going outside even unmedicated. Or at least micro-dose and see what your reaction is and stop right there when you are feeling good.
On the plus side, it tastes delicious -- tangerines, seriously -- and a lot of people do seem to find what they're looking for with this strain. Just not for me.
Sativa affects all day; another recommendation to any & all. Not too overpowering, however a quite noticeable high. Obviously a great choice for those who enjoy their citrus tasting/smelling flowers 💐
Uplifting, happy, euphoric effects that I would personally suggest to those in need of appetite gain, with mental illness, or who just like a moderately lasting wake n bake.
Great strain if you like being happy. I noticed I talked more after I vaped it and it gave me the giggles a little. Who doesn't like laughing though? Also it gave me a euphoric and energenic feeling very calming as well. Would buy it again.
Very Interesting strain. I got this in a cartridge hoping it being sativa would keep me a little more productive unlike what other carts do. I feel like I could go through a normal day or go to sleep . Very relaxed and euphoric, would recommend
Beautiful cerebral and creative high with some really nice zingy body tingles. Enhances creative thoughts, happiness, physical touch, and other sensations.
Perfect for mood disorders and headaches, especially when you have stuff to do and can’t lay around all day,
