Something drew me to this strain and I’m glad I chose to stray from my usual choices because this preroll by LK Labs just blew me away. Today, I went to Beyond Hello Route 3 in Sauget, IL and picked out a couple prerolls. This particular strain is a cross between ghost train haze and mag landrace. I was very curious why someone would name this strain Xerxes when I decided to purchase this and I did not know the hybrid crossing at the time. I’ve had a fun time learning about an extremely smooth smoke and am impressed. I do not usually get very high anymore and it’s a wonderful balance for me. I’m experiencing spinal pain today due to a chronic spinal injury and I am also about to start my period. TMI but not to those experiencing PMS and cramps. THIS HELPS. GET IT. I would refer to this as velvety and smooth. The preroll had been sitting for a little while but I packed the rest down and set it into the lip of my short smoke fancy (made by @crystaljuneglass on IG). It melted in my mouth like butter. I have ADHD and this helped me focus and relax so much, I decided to leave a review. LOL. Thanks for reading and give this strain a try!

Fast acting! Light! I won’t lie when I say I picked up this strain to try based on its name as I’m fascinated by gods; but once I opened a pre-roll of it, it immediately smelled as if I was in a family’s backyard with fresh watered lawn. The taste was light, dry, a little flowery. I feel cooled and calm overall, and smiling for no reason :)
I've smoked this several times....love the strain! If you can find the xerxes rso...GET IT!
This strain has a spicy taste and smell. When my husband and I took our first hit it was very smooth and relaxing🙃. It made us calm and uplifted; I would say this is 0% 0.39%body & 100% head high. Would be a good mid day social smoke. I loved the fact that I had zero paranoia. Becareful towards the back end as it does get a little harsh (but not unbearable ) i wouldn’t say this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE strain to smoke but most definitely one to keep in mind. 👍
Great strain, super strong, amazing smell and taste, not harsh. got it at a dispensary and its one of the best i've ever gotten from a disp.
READ THIS!! yes I love xerxes. this is at this time strictly an Illinois strain because one of its parents...MAG LANDRACE, is an extremely rare, 100% indica from Iran or Iraq...I forget which. It is grown exclusively by PTS In Illinois. Now, I worked at one of the places that was growing it for PTS. MAG LANDRACE was extremely susceptible to some fungus and mites. even the top growers there just couldn't get it right. it would always have a higher rate of fail than success. so now, my absolute favorite strain ever, MAG LANDRACE, is virtually gone, as is XERXES. MAG was SUPER potent ,and would take care of all pain, p.t.s.d. symptoms, insomnia, muscle cramps and spasms, depression.... ( it's why it's my favorite) . and if someone doesn't do something, it's going to really be gone for good. just like HINDU KUSH, 2nd favorite, impossible to find. let this encourage someone to find MAG LANDRACE, and bring it back to life. To make XERXES, CROSS GHOST TRAIN HAZE x MAG LANDRACE! I know it's long, but I want the world to know what they are missing. and it's supposed to be about XERXES, I do like both it's parents better than XERXES though.

Highly potent indica-dominant hybrid. The Mag Landrace effects dominated, but the Ghost Train Haze lineage was definitely palpable, with moderate stimulation that prevented couch lock. A bit of racing heartbeat that might be pleasant to some folks and for certain occasions, such as pre-slumber bedroom sports. Pretty relaxing as the effects wane. All in all, a very decent, refreshing hybrid. (Item reviewed: PTS RSO)

I smoked flower from a pipe and a bong and both were very smooth. I didn’t get the munchies and the high itself was maybe 70/30 body vs head high. Very good overall high and remained functional. I would say this strain landed me right in the middle of what I normally experience between indica and sativa. This is a well balanced strain. Really not much taste or aftertaste that I can remember, but finishes with a little bit of a hoppy flavor. Reminds me of the Bruce Banner strain. I felt like I was overthinking things a bit with this one.
