Service: Good service, very friendly staff there to take the time to help you find the right strain, edibles, and more to meet your needs. Knowledge: Basic knowledge of strains, knowing which strain is more dominant for sativa vs indica. CBD and THC levels were listed or known, but most dispensaries don't, so no big deal. Meds: More than a dozen strains, well known and newer strains alike, good quality. A decent selection of edibles, oils, topicals, and concentrates. Atmosphere: This for me, makes the place unique, pool table, lounge area, it's inviting and makes you want to hang out for a bit. - I consider myself a critical reviewer, I don't give out all 5's just because I picked up some decent meds, a dispensary review involves careful consideration and my reviews reflect that.

GSC and bubba kush- top shelf favorites!

Went here a couple days ago. Flower selection wasn’t the best, top shelf was okay nothing caught me eye. Probably won’t ever come back. Was pretty let down.

No door fees and a chill lounge setting with couches and a nice pool table make it a perfect place to medicate with friends. Any OMMP patient or caregiver with valid card and identification would be wise to add Alternative Remedies as another trusted destination of the highest quality.

On my first day scouting around for dispensaries, I found these guys. Pretty good meds, nice friendly knowledgable staff. I like that there's no fees and a smoking lounge. Oh and its dog friendly too! And leash trained cats.

Was welcomed VERY warmly. Lots of space and awesome chill spot, good meds, nice edible selection, very friendly, good vibes all around! The lady budtender was a ssweetheart and treated me like family! Everyone else I met was the same way. I would say they're the next nice nice up and coming club!! :)

Matt was awesome! This was my first time in this store, and he bent over backwards to make sure I got what I wanted. He didn't have any of the bud I wanted *not* prepackaged, so he gave me a discount to get an exact dollar amount of the bud I wanted. Great customer service, and very knowledgeable. Definitely coming back here!

Great store, I'm one of the hugest fans of dog walker and I've came in at least 5 times for it... Hope they keep the same price, can't beat it and it's grade A Quality

NO ENTRY FEE. Awesome! The best S.E. Portland source for green medicine I've seen yet. Friendly people, comfy couches, and a nice variety of herbs. Not to mention weekly perks like: Free Slice of Cannabis "Cake Day". You'll get a complimentary joint if you are a first-timer, and another joint for your first review of them here, on Leafly. They roll fat joints.

Friendly and capable staff - love this place.

I've been checking out lots of shops in the area lately and Alternative Remedies is by far my favorite to visit. I always feel welcomed and the staff is super nice. They carry all my favorite strains and are a reliable source for concentrates.

There was a very nice selection of medicine, edibles, and concentrates overall I was very pleased with my visit!!

This dispensary doesn't wow you from the outside and it feels a little cramped inside, but they certainly deliver where it matters. I visited today and picked up a 1/2 ounce of their Purple Urkle, which was priced in the premium tier, for $102.00. This included the 15% discount that they have for that tier on Thursdays, but I was still completely blown away. Their premium tier is actually premium as well as I have not seen Purple Urkle flower this beautiful before. Completely covered in trichomes, gorgeous deep purple color, not too dry and smelled like heaven. I used to pay $115.00 for a 1/4 of premium flower at a dispensary I frequented in Beaverton so finding this dispensary was a great surprise. The budtender that helped me was very kind and respectful as well. Great flower, kind and helpful budtenders and amazing prices. 5-star dispensary all the way.

Love this shop, close to home and really friendly. They were alot of help finding me a good CBD strain to help with my pain, and how much to use (since I'm a newbie)!
