Ascend Cannabis - Aberdeen

What a shame that True Wellness is now Ascend in Aberdeen Maryland!! Absolute dank selection of brands as well as varieties and some of the same old, same old flower items have been sitting "onesy twosy" in their stock online for several months unsold.... much because they are asking ridiculous prices. Forget about looking for any strain selection or brands. They cannot even stock enough variety to support their daily "featured" items. They advertize 2/$55 Strane 8ths and only stock 1 or 2 choices; never enough types and strains of prerolls to support their advertised sales, hash and concentrates......edibles.....everything is OVERPRICED and the 8ths NEVER weigh out to an 1/8th, IDC WHAT brand.....if it comes from Ascend in Aberdeen Maryland, This dispensary needs to take example from Enlightened in Abingdon MD, Hi Tide in West Ocean City, or maybe even Greenpoint Wellness in Millersville MD!! Let me add, someone I know very well was less than a DOLLAR short after using their $ card to purchase 2 preroll packs for $11 each...... EVERY TIME in there, they leave tips..... though on this particular day (yesterday), they had to walk out with only one of the preroll packs after travelling there after a work shift...... during a "sale" an $11 preroll pack came out to $18.00 !!!! Tips are left ALL of the time... though the "cashier", "budtender" or whatnot they call themselves at Ascend flat out REFUSED to help to apply even a few cents discount so the person could leave with what they went all the way there to get. Instead they ultimately paid $18 fuggin dollars for a fuggin gram preroll of fuggin dead ass weed!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get in straight Ascend...... because I'd rather drive or pay an Uber fee on top of my order just to gtfo of the area away from your store to give my business to Enlightened in Abingdon any day!!

Budtenders are worthless cashiers. Rules about their sales that they dont post anywhere. Will not help you at the counter, all they can do is ring you up. Learn some customer service and do better Ascend.

I have 2 small puppies who I care for daily. Ascend welcomed them as I made my purchase. Very cool. Place across river was very condescending as they said "dude" dogs aren't allowed. Well bye bye then CWN. Good Job Ascend.

I went to Ascend in Aberdeen to make a purchase and received the worst bag of flower ever i didn't know until I got home and opened the bag and felt how crunchy and dry it was so this is not what I expect for overpriced, taxed and tipped flower so I brought it back and the manager says I have to go deal with the grower on my own because there's nothing they can do but this is what you're selling so I'm done with this place so beware cause this ain't right you pay top dollar for poor quality

Never again will I go to ascend Aberdeen, f your order up on a regular basis, staff are incompetent, weed dried out over priced garbage, 1 1/8 are only 3 grams. I could go on but

This place has been closed twice in the 1 month that it has been opened. Ascend used to be True Wellness. True Wellness used to deliver to their disabled patients. Ascend says that option isn't available anymore. Too bad so sad. All the points people earns don't carry over to their system. The place is closed now as of 6/22/23. This time with no notice to their patients and are remaining closed until possibly Monday 06/26/23. The last time they said they would only be closed for 4 days they were closed for two weeks. The product can't be tested when you're closed for no reason. Service and atmosphere cannot be rated when your doors aren't open. I put an order in today online, it went through, sent me a text to confirm. I get there, they are closed with no notice. No explanation for 4 days. It's a shame True Wellness sold their shop.

Just purchased bubble hash and the seal on the package was broken. Now I am wondering if this is actually what I ordered.

I was a customer at a different dispensary for a couple of years thought that place was the tops. Then I went to the Aberdeen dispensary, True Wellness Aberdeen because they had what I needed. OMG, what a difference. Not to say anything bad about my other dispensary but Aberdeen is what I need. Attentive staff, knowledgeable, they knowing their products and knowing my needs makes it easier for me to get the medication I need. They certainly make me feel like I am a wanted customer and they devote their attention to me not the music blasting in the background or a heavy, personal conversation with another staff member. Thank you Aberdeen for your time and patience with me and my needs.

This is one of the worst dispensaries in the state of Maryland. Not because it has bad selection or even because of the prices. It’s one of the worst dispensaries because I can’t seem to get out of there without an issue. It’s the only dispensary in the state that takes 10 minutes to check in an existing customer. The other month they had five IDs in a waiting line is three employees giggled and registered a new patient. Yesterday the guy comes in from the back and and said something that no one could understand. I asked if he said my name and I get a whole speech on how we serve pre-orders first. I was just asking if you said my name dude. That is a common occurrence here. Bartenders kind of just wander around doing whatever they want as the customers wait three times longer than any other dispensary.

Today I visited True Wellness for the first time, and I was truly "WOW"ed! Each and every staff member greeted me -- and seemingly every other patient -- like a long lost and most welcome friend, and the vibe overall was warm, dynamic, and upbeat. As a first timer, I left laden with gifts, including a free (actually 1 cent) preroll, a mask, a shirt, a lanyard, and an abundance of smiles. True Wellness offers a wonderful product selection, good prices, lots of parking, and easy online ordering, and has efficient curbside pickup as well as in store shopping. Added bonuses include acceptance of debit cards, very convenient hours (9 to 9 daily), and discounts for veterans, seniors, the disabled and cannabis industry workers. I drove quite a distance to come here and found it was well worth the trip. Highly recommended!
