Excellent high-quality buds. The Kush IV is an easy favorite day and night. I also enjoy the Mimosa for daytime activities like working out, running and cleaning. The nighttime lozenges pack a nice punch with just 5mg - a wave of comfort followed by a solid night’s sleep (nice for those with bedtime anxiety). The Blueberry is a nice nightstand strain as well. Cartridges are small and expensive but the strains are great. Love the quality and service at this location! As a WA state transplant, my only wish is that there were more locations / less wait times / lower cartridge prices but it’s worth it given the limited selection in NJ.

Awesome place to be. Everyone is very friendly and knowledge. They never make you feel rushed. The premium buds are literally what you would expect when you are paying top dollar. The nugs are perfectly trimmed as well as harvested at proper time. My ONLY issue is that the majority of their strains are weak (flower), so I'm at the point where I'm bored with the same couple strains over and over and over and over. They are the closest place to me, but I've driven to other dispensaries to try them out (been to 4 of 6). I've ONLY bought flower from dispensaries (have better BM concentrate plug), but Breakwater has the best packaging by far. All in all its an all around awesome place and they have literally anything you would need to consume your medication. Sometimes they even have lower buds at 45 an 8th and 85 a qtr, which is great for people like me who prefer cones. Hope this review helps.

Nice strains, but not too many strains either which is a downside. Decent price and excellent patient service. I just wish they had all the strains GSD has for the Breakwater price. ;-)

Personally, I've never been disappointed by my purchases at Breakwater. Their AK 47, Grape Ape, and SAGE 20 are all phenomenal. And it's about 80 bucks an ounce cheaper than Garden State....which lacks the strain consistancy of keeping products in stock...problematic to those who know what works best for them. Go to breakwater. Hands down. 5 out of 5!

I had my first visit with Breakwater last week and the selection of strains is much wider than Garden State’s at the moment. I picked up every single strain except for the CBD ones because I’m stocked up on CBD. Service was excellent. I was not aware I had to use cash but they had an ATM right inside the dispensary. Lucy, the manager, helped me with an exchange on my second visit and was very professional and friendly. They offer a nice range of low potency to high potency strains. I initially overlooked the lower potency ones like Lemon G and Orange Bud but, they have grown to be two of my favorites. Their kushes are nice and they do all seem to be distinct in effect. Their flavors are that classic sandalwood kush throughout all three. I personally love that taste. Their MCT oils have proven to be very nice as well. I was going to GSD before and they only sell flower. Having oils as an option makes for quick medicating or ease when discreetness is key. The Grape Ape MCT oil gives me a serious body high at around 2-3 doses. I used it for some bad soreness from the gym and it mellowed out my whole back. Great place. I felt the counseling staff and the budtenders were all friendly and patient. I got the Moonshine Haze (their new strain) and I love it. It’s pungent and flavorful and vapes for a long while. Leaves you feeling motivated. That one will probably stay in my medicine cabinet at all times.

I actually like the product from this dispensary better than CSATC, it's main competitor. I think that this place offers better strains for medical patients who need pain and nausea relief than CSATC. The strains at Breakwater may have a lower THC percentage than that of other dispensaries, but the overall quality is much better. The CBD strain Cannatonic was great for pain management and I highly suggest it. The staff at this place are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they do not have Co2 Oil. The best strain from here is Grape Ape. Would recommend.

Breakwater is the 4th dispensary I have used. Hands down the Best... The product is cured and packaged properly. No Musty Smell to the meds. No Plastic bag unless you buy shake or pre-rolled . Everything comes in a glass jar! The terpenes really stand out. They only have a around 8 strains but they have something that works for my medical needs. I Love this place!!!!!!!!!

This is the absolute, hands down, no questions asked BEST dispensary in the state (NJ) in terms of quality and consistency, and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. By far. The only complaint I have, and it is small....heh....is that the facility is too small and often crowded. There are closer dispensaries, which I will go to if they have a strain I haven't tried, but I will take the time out to take the longer trip to this dispensary, the quality of the product, and staff is just that much better here. The buds are always fresh, large, and extremely well manicured, processed and packaged in heavyweight stained-glass jars. The concentrates are always super thick, but still clear and the taste of the stain is preserved, no unnecessary additives or thickeners. I haven't tried the lozenges, or MCT oil (the stuff you mix in with food, drink or lotions), and they NEVER have mids or shake (which I am fine with, as I am all about the pure fire that is the premium, and only, flower here), so I cant speak on their quality, but everything else here is so good, I cant imagine they wouldn't be as well. RECOMMENDED STRAINS: Kush IV - easily the BEST bud I have EVER smoked anywhere, do not pass this extremely well balanced hybrid up. AK-47 - Excellent bud, euphoric, uplifting, and relaxing. Moonshine Haze - Amazing sativa-heavy hybrid that leaves you happy, and relaxed, but is uplifting and leaves you able to focus. SAGE 20 - Concentrate only! Sativa-heavy hybrid that is energizing, while emotionally calming.

my first time there and they were wonderful. Sat and explained everything to me, answered all questions, very pleasant, would definitely recommend Breakwater. it is a bit of a drive for me but we'll worth it.

The BreakWater Medical Dispensary in Cranbury NJ is a very unprofessional operation . Tuesday August 28th I tried to make a appointment online with no luck. Due to the faulty system. I made a phone call a few times though out that day to make one over the phone. No one answered, I left messages. The next day was the same thing I called and no one answered so then I decided to take time out of my day on Thursday August 30th to drive to the location to see anything was available. As soon as I parked my Jeep I received a phone call from the location and I was told there was no appointments available and to try to make a appointment online. I went online and was finally able to make one for Thursday September 6th at 11am. I arrived at the location when they opened to find out my appointment was never created and to check for a confirmation that I have not received. I told the clerk the whole situation who seemed to be apathetic to me and the whole situation. She not really seem to care to help but just to make a other Appointment for the following week. September 13th 11am. I did ask for a manager and she brushed it off and made the appointment from there and waited to see if anyone didn’t show up for the current booking for 11am. Everyone showed up and I asked for a manager again after having to ask a second time she stated the manger would tell me the same thing where then I responded to tell her I must speak to a manager. The manager had the same apathic attitude towards me and didn’t even seem to care. He didn’t even take any notes of the situation and try to see what was wrong with their system. With their negligence I have wasted time and money. The worst part is I need this treatment I am going through severe chronic pain that is effecting my everyday life. I am very upset and disappointed on the way they handle everything. I have emailed and called on Thursday the 6th and today Tuesday the 11th with no response. I was very lucky that a other dispensary a hour away was able to help me without a first appointment.

well worth the drive from gloucester county. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I made an appointment online without a single issue, was given a reminder email 4 days before to remind me. they were very professional and made my first visit a pleasant experience. I had a 1 on 1 appointment which was worth the wait. the guy I spoke with about my symptoms and condition was very receptive and helpful in explaining the different strains available, their effects were written on the menu card but I still couldn't believe how accurate they are. so far so good, 2nd trip is coming up and I will be heading back to doctor to renew after. I'm so glad to have relief for some of the issues that have been plaguing me. The Lemon G, Orange Bud and the Cannatonic strains all were spot on in description of its effects and have been working well so far. highly recommended & pun intended ;]

This is a very friendly, clean and professional A.T.C. Additionally it is very centrally located in New Jersey right off the NJ Turnpike one exit below New Brunswick. It was the first dispensary that I went to after recieving my Medical MJ approval and card; the folks at Break Water really walked me through the process, educated me and made me feel comfortable. I have visited other ATC's, however have returned to Break Water primarily due to the great value of their medical products for the quality received. There are some things I would suggest as 'growth areas' for Break Water; however, I didn't take away a star because in casual conversation with the folks that work there I was told that they were already working on these items. The first is that their is a limited selection, I think right now they only offer 5 strains. However, on the positive side I have not run into issues with product availability. Additionally I was informed at my last visit that they are currently cultivating 5 new strains that should be ready for sale sometime in the late summer of 2016. The second 'growth' area IMHO would be in the potency of the Medication. Please don't get me wrong, the medicine works well, it has helped me tremendously, it is clean, no stems or seeds and just feels and smells great. However, sometimes it feels like it could just use a little more, gusto, oumff whatever you want to call it. I would tack this up to fact that as the newest dispensary in the state they are still fine tuning and adjusting their cultivation techniques. I have no doubt that with time an the addition of a few more strains the variety and potency will improve. I would heartedly recommend Break Water A.T.C. to all. They have a great staff - very helpful and great medicine that is continually getting better. Finally, you can not beat the value for the medicine purchased at Break Water. All in all two big thumbs up!! 😎👍👍😎

So far the last 2 times I have gone have been excellent. I'm always in ton of pain daily and the strains that have helped are, Kush#4 the best smoke ever! Kush X was delicious and awesome at helping me relax with pain. AK was another awesome strain calm and collective high. The chemstar is ok not something I enjoy at all. Kush#8 is a great night time smoke. Next trip this week I'm going to try their oils and losengers if they have them in stock. Their flower is the best I have ever had in NJ.

Breakwatwr was the 1st dispensary I visited. The place is amazing, very clean and safe, the staff are always very helpful. they stock locally blown gas even! My only complaint is I agree that the marijuana could be stronger,though the quality is always fresh and flavorful,even their shake. the prices are amazing and they offer various discounts for peoples different situations. Im hoping the new strains they roll out are more potent. My favorite strains from breakwatwr are blueberry31,durban poison and bubblegum05. Do yourself the favor of visiting this dispensary Im sure the feel of this place will be a winning aspect, as the dispensaries vary in feel. Breakwater feels fun and kind of trendy,atleast to me.

Excellent ATC. I went for my introduction appt at breakwater. First time visitors need an appt. it seems annoying, but after sitting with Sky for 20 minutes, well worth it. They walked me through their system, they were interested in my experience and my knowledge. It was a real conversation, one that wasn't rushed. Sky provided tons of knowledge and options tailored for my particular wants and needs of cannabis consumption. Next I met Dani the budtender, so friendly, and showed me a really fun rolling tray I couldn't pass up with my first time discount. I walked out with oil, cartridge, and flower. Felt the need to try their options. Below is a brief breakdown of what I got. The cannabis flower: placed in a uv resistant jar according to your qty. worth the extra 3$ over the other dispensaries. Great options with great explanations for any user. Bud looks excellent, smell excellent. The extracts / cartridges / mct oil: they lay it out nicely and explain what's what and how to use. Got a Durban cartridge with excellent taste and great accurate effects. The mct oil is diluted and made to be very user friendly, easy to control dropper. (not on concentrated level) The accessories: they have it all, papers, dab rigs, pipes, trays, wicks, candles, storage cases of all sizes, and so much other great stuff. ONE STOP SHOP. Atm on site. This is the best dispensary, their cost is a bit above curaleaf, but for not being a national chain brand, they are doing an amazing job. Since you asked... As for now, I rank the top three ATC like this: 1. Breakwater - All around experience/options (pricey) 2. Harmony - employees daily discounts (only flower) 3. Curaleaf - every option great price

Products are incredible, staff is amazing, dispensary is immaculate and professional, and the strain/product selection is great.

Amazing Quality Buds & Prices !!

This dispensary has a great product. The buds are really good and prices lower than some other dispensaries. Their cartridges and mct oil products are also very good but a bit expensive (70 for mct 75 for cart). I really like their cannatonic 1:1 strain and their high cbd oils are top notch. I like the grape ape for sleep also. This place can get a bit crowded on fridays and saturdays. I usually go late morning mid week and am always in and out in 5-10 minutes. Staff is very friendly even when they’re in the weeds.

I’m still trying to get someone on the phone! Been calling for the last 3 weeks now and I haven’t gotten an answer. There’s also no option to leave a message! 🤷🏽‍♀️ this is the closes dispensary to me, so I hope someone picks up the phone today. It would also be very helpful they updated their Leafly page. There’s never an opening - closing schedule.
