Chalice Farms Recreational Weed Dispensary - Powell

5 stars. The guy who works there gave me the best customer service I have ever received at a dispensary. He knew the product inside and out and was very nice. They have A+ flower at competitive prices and some most excellent BHO and edibles. Parking is super easy right outside the front door. Nice professional, but not uptight, atmosphere. There is also a small head shop next door that sells handmade blown glass pipes by Oregon atrists -

The location and staff here are really friendly and have great hospitality. If youre coming here for pre roll joints, DO NOT BUY KARMA ORIGINAL DIPSTICKS!! As soon as I lit the joint ALL of the weed fell out. It seemed to be packed tight enough upon opening it but immediately fell out on my first puff. I called the store to see if they could help me at all but of course OLCC rules like to f*** you in the ass. They did apologise and got my contact info in case they can give me store credit, so cudose to them.

Hands down, the very best of the best. Staff was exceptionally knowledgeable and the flower was absolutely the very best quality. Had so many options to choose from as well as amazing prices. Jordan was an amazing help and I will be telling all of my friends and business partners to go here exclusively for the best top quality flower in all of Portland. Amazing!

The weed is good but this place is not good to their employees. Every time I go to visit, every single employee has been replaced. This makes me feel weird because not only do I constantly have to build new rapport but also I see these girls thinking "they're just going to fire you in a couple months." This is a hire-at-will-state, I understand, but this company is toying with people's livelihood and I refuse to support it.

I was very disappointed with my visit to Powell House, so much so I was pushed to finally get an account. For an industry that's trying to become legitimized, you'd think there'd be more of a professional attitude (not the typical stuffy office type... But employees not on their phones and inappropriately joking when customers are around, shouldn't be much to ask). Personal caring warmth and interest/knowledge of product, in addition to a somewhat professional attitude, is what makes people feel comfortable, welcomed and cared for... That's what I look for when seeking to medicate... but I felt uncomfortable, like I was a burden, and that I was just another sale. The manager and budtender were both very unprofessional and short, and though the product was decent, it was more expensive than lots of other locations. They're a business... And that's all they proved to care about....Themselves, their business, and their numbers. With the selection out there and what's available I find no reason to ever go back. apologies unnecessary. maybe just treat customers a bit better and offer them genuine, caring service so they can find decent product that really can help? Thanks.

This is the only place I go. Been a frequent customer for over a year. Last night I called looking for a certain strain. Ashley went above and beyond to help. Called other locations for me and even had a list of other places who had it. She was Amazing! I told her I wasn't keen with different places. She told me about some new strains, and I ended up going to the Powell location to try some! This girl is Awesome! Thanks Ash!!!!

Once again I've made the journey out to PHCC... I love it there, and always leave with a smile. The people that work here are wonderful, only slightly less wonderful then the medicine they so lovingly provide. My ONLY complaint at all, and its a tiny one..is that I've been coming here pretty much since it opened, follow it on twitter, and facebook... and yet not once have I gotten my free gram for my review on leafly , and this is my third one LOL.. I've always mentioned it, though no one from the staff has mentioned it directly to me, coming or going. Its a rather small thing in the grand scheme of things, I think it annoys my husband more then me. I guess it shows just how much i DO love this place though that not only do I continue to make the 45 minute drive out there , but I continue to leave reviews. Why? Because they are just that awesome!

Friendly, knowledgeable, patient staff. Got some pre rolls, edibles and flower and loved everything I got. They take credit/debit cards!First time in and will definitely be back.

They are known to have good products and have a descent selection, but I have never been treated particularly well there and have always felt a little rushed. Plus Chalice is a cannibal that is destroying the cannabis market and suppressing prices to kill the competition. So there's that.

The staff was great! The product is very high quality, and the shop was very clean and decorated well.

Is this place supposed to be a joke? This is the absolute worst way to display weed products, and a dispensary trying to be a high end establishment should never prepackage the flower. The Leafly menu isn't kept up to date, or they put things on the menu they don't have just to draw people in. I won't go back to find out.

The staff is always lovely and I've never felt like an idiot, in spite of really having no idea most of the time what I'm looking at. I apologize for not recognizing your names to thank you specifically!

Very nice atmosphere - very calming. Nice, friendly receptionist who quickly took my information and buzzed me in. Kyndra was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Felt she knew her strains. Pleasant experience; felt safe.

Very nice, clean, professional looking and down to earth friendly atmosphere is what I encountered upon my first visit with a warm and kindhearted greeting from the receptionist. The staff assisting me with viewing their selections are well informed and very helpful. In my case, I needed to inquiry about CBD strains. I was giving many options for a delivery system for my medicine that are high in CBDs and I'm glad that the public has these choices. While the place is small compared to other places I've been, Powell House left me with an impression of great selection and excellent customer service and epitomizes the E. F. Schumacher concept of “small is beautiful” because Powell House demonstrate that patients matter.

Good Bud! But...I noticed the bud they sell you might not be the same bud on display. I bought some white afghan. My buds were green and brown however the display buds were ice white and looked incredible very noticeable difference . Dispensaries that prepack bud scare me for this very reason. Let the people pick from the Jar then this place would be top tier!

Great new place very professional talked with them they have a long time experienced grower and the buds look awesome and smell better, will be one of my regulars very much recommend it, they are very adult and knowledgeable. Good job. They also are very helpful with the medicinal properties. Great.

I struggle with the prepack stores. I just can't tell how long its been packaged even if it was great bud to start with. The staff are very nice, but price point is on the higher side for sure

I've been here a few times, and every time the woman with the dark hair (manager?) is extremely rude. The other bud tenders are great. Really informative and helpful. And the product is better than most other places. But I think I may have to find another regular place. Just keep leaving with a bad taste in my mouth every time that lady opens hers.

I've had my green card for a couple years through several states AZ, CA, & now OR. Oregon was supposed to be the promised land for exceptional medicine, but most compassion clubs primarily stock grassy weed that is improperly cured. In a state known for great cannabis, I have been disappointed and I find it unacceptable to charge us top-shelf prices on mediocre flowers. I grow a premium organic garden myself, and there is no excuse not to have perfect flowers every time :-/ Then yesterday morning, I wander in on Powell, and it was like a breath of fresh air! Apparently the ownership is all brand new as of May 2014. The staff is knowledgable, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, almost more like a doctors office. The selection was massive, the flowers were very sugary across the board! The employees know better than to let people stick their hand into the medicine jar. I personally smoke well-over an ounce every week, and the four quarters I picked up were all stellar! Harlequin with high CBDs is sweet tasting and highly medicinal, I like mixing it with the Purple God Bud I got. According to them, it tested close to 30% THC, on three different testings! I dig the combo ;-) I also picked up some beautiful Black Cherry Soda a batch of Jack Herer that tastes perfect... I can't wait to pick up some more from them soon <3

This medical dispensary is awesome. They have a knowledgable staff that cares about the quality of product they are offering their clients. It clearly shows that they have also put a lot of work into the environment itself which add to the overall experience. It's nice to see some people in the business doing it right! Never update the menu Budtenders are uninformed and never seem to know any farm they work with..... Lazy and once again another dispensary just about looks.
