the staff were extremely helpful and eager to point out the best strains for our oddball questions, the quality to price ratio cannot be beat as far as I have found, the only minor complaint I had was the use of fingers to break off stems from our bud. they did so to reduce weight and give more flower so I appreciate the intent. They also accept cards so that's a huge plus.

Yikes. I might be the minority here. I wasn't a huge fan of this shop. Walked in to a sterile, crisp white room with huge glass jars of weed. It was so quiet I could hear a pin drop. The gals voice was loud and echo'd through the empty room to a customer. I was looking for some flowers to fit my budget and I saw they had some $25 strains. I asked about them and said, I'd pay for a better strain. Money spent on harsh or ineffective product would hurt more than not having it to begin with. The budtender said it was top notch, no difference and really sold it to me. So I bought two eighths. Yeah. I thought it was weird he was handling the herb. No gloves and just kept talking and talking about I don't know what. Like trying to distract me ... ? It was unusal to me. Well. I get home to weigh them and both containers were short a gram! And awful, awful quality. We were very disappointed. We tried the location again months later,getting a higher quality (taking our 50% blame on that) and was STILL shorted in weight. Same budtender, I think, Brandon is his name. The herb was so dry, it burned too fast and was not a value. WIth so many other shops in the 'hood, I'm so sorry La Mota. I tried. I really did. Onward to the next!

This was my go to favorite place for a long time,unfortunately they have stopped carrying any concentrate and only have high price flower. Such a shame, really enjoyed the people there

I did not get a full gram of BHO oil. When i bought some.

La Mota is a good shop, good Budtenders, but the prices for medical are ridiculous! $45-$50 an eighth is crazy compared to top shelf prices for other medical dispensaries. When there was no rec it was $35 for top shelf eighth and as soon as rec got close the prices skyrocketed. I understand producers are charging more, but a majority of the other shop's have not raised prices like La Mota has. They still have $100 bottom shelf oz that are worth checking out. It just doesn't make any sense to buy any of the top shelf here for medical when there are so many other shops that have Excellent Flower as well as Excellent Prices on the top shelf for their patients! It's $30 for top shelf down the street! La Mota has to lower their prices if I am going to buy anything besides bottom shelf. Would be a wasting my money.

Just went in here for the first time last week. The stuck up bitch at check out needs to go. For an amazing place as yours the one that worked last thursday ruins your image. the guy working morning shift was one of the most inpiring budtender and he is what this business as your workers should strive to be. First off cleanest store best looking and best selection ever. You budtender knew so much and was first to admit he is learning and doing his own research why most dispensariea dont we all know. But this place and that kid were amazing. Seriously best flower quality and selection in the state of oregon!!! That budtender was class act!!! Give him more hours and ill stop buying my medical flower here in eugene springfield and only purchase it at this store on se 53 st. Portland. This store and budtender is truely amazing. Get rid ofbthe fault brin in a door chick that wants to work and represent your company like your budtenders do!!! Great store amazing selection highly reccomend everyone in oregon stop by if your visiting especially if your a vet and patient id give you 5 for all 3 but your morning worker on thursday ruined that but next visit for sure

The staff are friendly, very knowledgeable, and have fantastic customer service! I have only purchased CBD and/or low THC items such as candy, tinctures, and vapes, they carry SO MUCH variety! All of the staff are up to date of the productst they have in stock and are patient, kind, and knowledgeable for customers (like myself) that basically start with knowing nothing about cannabis! The lobby and store are super clean and the products are well labelled. Price sheets are available on the counters and easy to navigate.

Transaction was quick. Staff was relatively helpful to a noobie. Only OLCC vendor in my area so I'll go there again.

I praised Arden for his choice of positive music. Indeed, I felt positive energy throughout my experience. Arden watched me smell a couple of strains, and lined me up with flower after flower to whiff, sniff, and take in at my own pace. Red Crush was selling well. I love it when I hear, "You like pumpkins? (Yes, it smelled like pumpkins!) This one smells like chemicals. Here's chocolate ...." He started me with mellow scents, and worked his way up in aroma intensity, so I wouldn't lose my sense of smell. This is an art, within iteslf. Paired with uplifting music, I expanded my horizons! Kelly talked to my boyfriend mostly, but he did join me in a cheesy skit that I started, and was good natured and good humored about it. My boyfriend's eyes rolled, but I was tickled pink. Up front, Michele showed enthusiasm for my personal interests. They do not have televisions, their walls are bare white, and big jars are aligned on simple shelves. Their sense of minimalism allows the weed to speak for itself, with no distractions. Check out Triple Cheese. Thank You!

The inside of the store looks like the inside of your typical Apple store. Sterile and white.. kinda creepy. I was happy too see the large jars I could smell the weed from.. but was immediately dissappointed by the horrible quality of the bud. I tried to check for well known strains that I knew, so I could look for the qualities I'd recognize.. and was dissappointed over and over. Blue Dream, Girl Scout Cookies, Head Band, and Green Crack all had the same bland dry smell, were leafly, and lacked crystals. Even the Sour Diesel wasn't sour! A lot of buds were even brown. I have been to dispensaries all over Portland, California, and Colorado and this was the worst dispensary I have ever been to! I will NEVER be back again!

pretty good place with huge selection. nice venue with friendly staff. they definitely seem more recreationally focused, not the most educated on medical benefits, average quality buds. their top shelf looked okay quality (but not for that price) and the second and third tier products i ended up purchasing clearly werent flushed properly upon smoking. business definitely seems like theyre more in it for the money than the good which is cool but if you have medical needs, might not be the best spot. concentrate selection is...rough. few decent grabs for the price. overall decent place.

they are famous for false advertisement. shatter marked as one price and being sold as another then when you call to complain they tell you oh I'm sorry that happened but it was marked for an event we had its actually a different price we just didn't take the stickers off. ok so your lazy and over charging pt. and I'm not the fist person this has happened to. we will not being going back. over priced nasty weed we haven't even bought in over a year. thought we'd give them another try. NEVER AGAIN and the owner should be ashamed !

friendly environment. Alot of strains to choose from. all the buds look like they were grown outdoors. not the prettiest nugs, but decent size nugs. does the job well. overall i like it

The concentrates here are great! Lots of strain variety, good donations. Not all the shatter I got was top shelf. There are random grams that have not been purged as well as they should have, but that said, nothing is perfect and they are as consistent as I could reasonably expect the way the legal industry is now. They are for sure worth checking out. (Note they only let you out the door with 5gs per day.)

The staff was extremely friendly, but the prices were outrageous. By far the highest prices with less selection and less quality. I originally came to this store because they were open until 10 on a Sunday, but will just wait until Monday morning if that situation presents itself again.

I went out of my way an hour to buy a strained I called about to make sure they had it. They were totally out of what I really wanted when I got there. Also, after traveling an hour to get there I really needed to pee. I actually found one of the employees debit card laying outside in a puddle and turned it in too. They said they didn't have a public bathroom! Well I had to pee so bad I was in a hurry, had to settle for something else and it was a horrible trim job. I didn't notice because I was on my uber app trying to get a ride because I knew I wouldn't make it an hour back on the bus without pissing my pants. They didn't know anywhere close around with a bathroom. I spent a hundred bucks on something I am not really satisfied with, and didn't notice the crappy trim and overall condition of the dry a** herb until I got home. And they wouldn't let me use a bathroom...wtf. I bet they let their friends use it, I will not be recommending this dispensary to anyone. Someone told me it was a good one, but I don't know what happened since that opinion. So on top of going out of my way, I had to pay for uber to get home to make sure I didn't piss my pants Come on, really. And the herb was not up to par at all. A three year old could trim better than whoever did their trimming.

i dont know where to start. i got a pre-roll of purple mr. nice and it was rolled so tight it wouldn't smoke! talk about crappy job. you guys need to do some quality control checks! the louie 13 smoked perfect. also the tahoe og was dank as f***. yalls shop looks really nice, but it seemed like the budtenders had no knowledge about the product. ive been a stoner since i was 15 so you could say i know my way around the herb, i also grow. i was seriously unimpressed with my visit though and i dont usually leave negative reviews but someone has to stand up for patients, and quality. i will not be shopping here again. nor will i recommend this "dispensary" to anyone.

This place is in my neighborhood and has the best concentrates for the price I've found in Oregon. They recently moved to plastic (non stick) containers for shatter which really makes a difference. This is now my go to place for concentrates.

Always clean and aromatized with that fresh herb scent. Product is neatly organized and displayed. Staff is knowledgeable of product and very friendly. I'm glad I found this place cause it's the only one I go to now. Definitely would recommend this place to a friend!

I come here very often. All the employees are so nice and everything they sell is pretty good quality. You should definitely try La Mota. You won't regret it :)

Where can I start... As of now, I have been to at least a dozen places and they all seem to be pretty much the same; some with a little nicer decor and others with a more simple atmosphere. As for La Mota, I have found their prices to be competitive if not a little less then the other guy. What sets them apart is the friendly atmosphere and the willingness to educate the customer on the various strains and other products available. They seem to be open a little later than others in my area and I like that option since I work all day. I have many choices but I have to say I will keep going back to these guys if not for the best prices at least for the best service! Keep it up!! Customer service is everything to the finicky ones such as myself.

LaMota SE is conveniently located with easy parking it is a very clean and professional well stocked dispensary the staff is knowledgable and really friendly Nancy and Randy are awesome ask them about the " Willie Nelson" you won't be disappointed

This is the only place i go to in the Portland metro area. For good reason - high quality, good priced product. Top shelf grams will be expensive but for a reason.... you'll be happy as heck that you decided to try it. And if you can't afford a top shelf strain there are like 100 other ones to try and are priced just as fair as ANY OTHER dispensary. Love having this kind of variety, perfect for me because i love places with wide variety, knowledgeable staff, and hella kind bud.
