LOVE this place

Staff seems pretty friendly, but I don't like not being able to see what I'm buying before I pay. It's more or less trial and error getting something you like because as I'm sure we all know, you can't tell quality by the name alone. As I'm sure most will agree, the prices aren't much better than black market prices. I thought the price used to be high because your dealer was taking a risk of incarceration. Now that's not a concern, so someone please tell me why the is the price so high (could it be that green monster, greed?). I've only been to one other location and their prices were a bit higher than Herbal Grasslands. To be a good judge though, I would have to visit more shops.

This is the best place ever!! Great and knowledgeable staff, amazing selection of dabs of cartridges!! Love the elephant extracts! I feel so comfortable here, it's my new and long time dispensary!

Like walking into a prison to make an order and I had only one person in front of me and my girlfriend. We were there waiting 45 min and just for 2 preroll's. The prices were okayish and we felt so uncomfortable the entire time. We got home to find both of our preroll's had lots of stems and were poorly rolled. The staff act like you are Beneath them like they're royalty or something. I will never go back here EVER!

They don't allow you to see or smell the product before you buy it. It's actually in a room that you only walk in to pay, and your goods have already been packaged. Just tested product, and it's mediocre (at best). The prices on their *updated* menu are wrong. Not even close to accurate. Came to this place for a specific reason (good price was listed) and ended up having to pay $5 more for a gram less than advertised, so there was almost a $20 difference in actual cost as opposed to advertised price (depending on what strain you buy, could be more or less).. When I brought this to their attention, I was given a poor excuse and they didn't even consider giving me the price I intended to pay (as advertised on leafly). Drove out of my way for mediocre customer service, mediocre product, and had to pay more than advertised price for a smaller amount of product. I don't dislike this place but I also wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I'm less-than satisfied with my experience here.

I recently returned to herbal grasslands after choosing to not go in due to similar complaints and again have not been impressed. Today was my final purchase thanks to the 12.50 discount. Thank you for that. I think that their prices are higher then most other dispensaries in the general area. The concentrates are not cooled and left to melt in the heat and twice my stuff has been labeled a shatter and I received a crumble or sap. They should display the product or show the product before purchase. I will not return.

I can tell you this was quite an experience. I use to come to this place every week for my meds a year ago, now that I don't have my card anymore I thought I would give them a try. The two people I delt with, were real young and had no clue on what was what. The young lady that actually helped me (Mak) didn't know a dang thing. I had to literally help her find what I was looking for when it was right in front of us. And to make it worst another customer came in and asked where a previous employee was, and she said she was fired and our her stuff on blast in front of us while she was trying to still help me. I literally couldn't of had a worst experience. I love the owners when they took care of their patients, but now I'm not a patient anymore I don't get the same respect as i use too. I would like to come back; to people that know cannabis and concentrates. I can't believe it went so down hill.

Herbal Grasslands is simply amazing! Product selection and price is beyond compare in town! The specials are amazing and the medical patient programs are definitely worth the drive!

I went here the first day recreational was going and they had the people write down the order before even looking at the bud. I come back a few months later and still the same? This is the only place I've ever been to that has done this. Personally I like to know what I'm buying before I get it. Makes no sense why this is going on? I don't really want to waste my money when I can see exactly what I want like I can basically at any other place in Salem. This place definitely favors medical (which is totally not a bad thing and should be commended for taking care of their patients first) but for Rec not at all worth it.

I was told the prices would not go up because they had already increased the prices to get the public used to the tax rate. Last week a preroll was $5. Tonight the same pre roll was $6.87. Hmm I was afraid the greed would spoil the legalization. I will never shop there again. People will get tired of being gouged.

I Did not like my experience here at all. I don't know if it's because I've gone to a few other dispensaries before this one but their product and process of purchase were both low grade. there top shelf flower is about as good as mid shelf in most other dispensaries but it still costs you top dollar. I also feel that not being able to view any of the product before purchase is a downside in any dispensary at the least have some photos available I bought 7.0 grams total mixed of two separate strains and paid $100 only to walk out and open my containers to find something that I could have paid mid shelf prices for at other facilities I've been to in the past.

Love it here. My battery burnt out on my pen and I lost .5 grams. (Not their fault, faulty battery) they replaced my pen with an upgraded version. Always nice. Awesome that they take card, very handy. Love the elephant extracts, high THC count and worth the money.
