RISE Dispensaries Joppa (Med)

Been to and reviewed 12 Maryland dipensaries. Rise is by far the worst. Selection is limited although they will occasionally have a hard to find strain. There is one security guard and customer service is a major opportunity. I have been there 4 times and 3 of the 4 the same budtender remained seated the duration of those visits. I thought he was disabled until he retrieved my products. I observed, asked and listened to the patients questions and budtender answers. More training needed due to limited knowledge. Positive - The receptionist Lana is always pleasant and very helpful. I just now attempted to put 1/4oz on hold and when I went to give the gentleman my contact info he hung up before I could get out my last name. I will call somewhere else.

Small waiting room but great once you get in the back. One thing that sketches me out is they use clear masking tape to secure there containers. Just get taper proof sticker safety seals 🤷🏽‍♀️

The past few times I have been there, the product has seemed a little light, this last time my preroll tube was not sealed and the prerolls were loosely filled and very short, as if someone had removed product from them. I have tried calling to resolve this today but they never seem to answer the phone.

My Budtender, Elliott, was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable and answered many questions without hesitation. He was also very pleasant and personable. He made the experience fun and comfortable.

Had Kate as a bud tender. She was rude, unhelpful, and spoke down to me the whole time. I don’t know if I’ll be back.

i wouldnt call it a dispensary, when they never have hardly any flower at all, and never anything good when they do, and when they do have something ill get message saying there out, there great people and great atmosphere they just need more stock, i would not go out of your way to come here you wont be happy with there selection

let me wait thirty minutes just to tell me they didn't get an order for me. yet i had the confirmation on my phone. they screwed something up and didn't bother to apologize.

ive been to Rise a couple times. the place was too small too hot to start..security wassnt much of of anything other places have warmed guards or the front desk is being glass. I would think its a safty risk. the product itself was limited and overpriced. There seems to be poor communication with the budtenders and management. theres always technical problems ecspesially with points. the abingdon store never opened after months of being lied too..ive talked to other customers there who expressed the same concerns. There are way better options in maryland that I'd rather give my money too. i only would go there if they actually had a good special.

Menu used to be very good , now they have about 4 flower options that have all been on the menu since September .

Rise has a friendly, polite staff and a clean environment throughout. The vibe is pretty chill and upbeat. The quality of Rise products however, has taken a serious nose dive in recent months. Not much variety either. Some of the products have been 'obviously' light on occasion as well. Sometimes, I've even had the budtender take a dollar or 2 more than it should have cost. The prices are often considerably higher than other dispensaries nearby, which brings me to the progressive takeaways Rise continues to sneak in on the patients/consuners, e.g. *Rise $5* survey-coupon, without any beneficial incentive/rewards to the "patient/consumer" to supplement or make up for their generally exorbitant prices. First they ransacked the "Wisdim discount 55+ from 15% to 10%. Next, the point system goes up to 1000 pts just to get $30 off! If I drive 10 minutes to Aberdeen, the points reward is 500 pts for $35 off! No contest! Wow Rise 😒 local, but disappointing and costly. So, to summarize, friendly staff + clean store with chill vibe 🤔 doesn't help me and is certainly not "why" I visit this store. Please get it together Rise Joppa.

Have been to this dispensary twice and big times my consultants (Jennifer and I think, Jessica) were not just incredibly knowledgeable they also have their customer service skills maxed. Have been to a few other shops where the employees were either knowledgeable + arrogant or rude or lacked the skills to guide me to appropriate treatments. Rise employees knowledge, experience + personality = happy customers.

They swipe extra money when you receive discounts you didn’t know about.

Lena was the greatest! She spent like an hour answering all of my questions, we talked about a lot of different products, what I've tried and what works for me and what doesn't. I'm happy with my purchase and feel like I got a great deal.

Rise Joppa! you guys are the best and MY go to location. Everyone is very nice and your stock is impressive. Keep up the great work.

I have only been to this Dispensary 2 times, but both visits were nothing short of amazing. I’m a total noob to all of this and the wonderful bud tender that helped me out at my first visit was so patient and knowledgeable. I told her what I was hoping to accomplish with the use of flower and she got me a few different strains to try out, and they have been perfect! Lana at the front desk is so warm and friendly, she made me feel at home in an otherwise unfamiliar place. Thank you so much Rise, I’ll be back soon!

Great place! I really enjoyed the people from security to front desk and my man in the back who served me my flower, awesome dude. He knew something about everything I asked and needed to know about picking out the perfect strain for me. Explained the terpenes an exactly which one does what. Than we talked about the thc an cbd factor. So make a long story short he Helped me out a super lot. It was my first time and I'm not good with names but next time I visit an if he still works there I will find out who it was an give him a 5 🌟 thanks

There is no place like rise this place cares there not focused on the $ they focus on taken care of patients I have never seen a place with the commitment care and they take the time to help you find the best medicine for the patient I won't go anywhere else this place has a one of a kind staff none can compare I feel lucky to have found this place and I have to say if you have not been to rise I implore you to go see them you won't regret it but once you try them you will always come back they are the best at what they do for me I went from taken 30mg of short acting opiates and 250mg fentanyl patches for long acting and once they took me in now I only take 10mg of short acting and the cannabis regimens of RSO and concentrate and if not for them I would still be in pain but now I can live my life again god bless this dispensary

Gotta say, I started to stray from this being my “home” dispensary for a minute, but Rise has really stepped up their game of recent, and they have quickly become my go-to again. The prices, deals, pop-up specials have all made it an easy decision to choose Rise again. The customer service has always been excellent. That has never been an issue. I recently had to return two products and Rise did the right thing and exchanged with no issues after showing my receipt. They have even upped their game on being more consistent with updating their menu online which I know *used* to be an issue in the past. Don’t miss their Friday deals!! Thank you Rise. I can’t wait to come back.

So glad to not have to drive to get to another medical dispensary. The staff there was very knowledgeable and friendly. The prices were a bit high compared to others but the quality and service were both top notch. I will be returning!

Very disappointed 2nd time ordered on line then upon arriving given a substitute and NOT TOLD...because I don’t open up the bag till I’m off property and back home I’m stuck ....... Very Very disappointing because I’ve really wanted this place to be successful as it’s so close to home but issues like this are saying not gonna happen as I’m sure I’m not the only one that has had an issue with this
