Silver State Relief - Sparks

I liked going here, until I found one that gives a 20% discount for any veteran for recreational. Help a vet out and then I will come back.

This is a well run dispensary. The menu is constantly changing and provides a wide variety of strains to address whatever your particular needs may be. The staff is friendly and professional. The product presentation excellent as well. The only place I can really compare it to as far as over the counter purchases was in Amsterdam and that was a completely different, pub like atmosphere. This is more like a pharmacy, as it should be. Legal cannabis allows me to cut back on the Rx pills without sending my money to drug cartels. They market the place well, check out the daily specials, you'll save a ton if you time your purchase right!

I writing to address more of a complaint, than a good review. Silver State is convienent for me because of work, but it seems there is some decpetion going on with sales. Last week i went and purchased a pre roll. Most if not all places assume 1 gram pre rolls. Silver State Staff DO NOT TELL YOU when you are purchasing, that you may be purchasing LESS than a gram pre roll. This to me is decpetive and the second time it happened.The customer loses out because of loss weight (which matters to me). I will not be revisiting Silver State, as there are other places comparable that are not deceptive in this practice and activily let you know that what you are purchasing is at least a gram. Its too bad, you all do have some quality stuff but ill spend my money where i can get the most bang for my buck.

So today I purchased some of the 420 special items. Silver State used to be somewhere I frequented however since a drop in quality I have gone other places, today I thought maybe they’ve gotten better. I purchased 3 of the .60g prerolls from Deep Roots. A 3 preroll pack: said to have been a gram per preroll: it is NOT!! I also got a disposable pen. The budtender was fast on placing it in the Bag before I could look at them so I didn’t get to see before exit. I have pictures to of the comparison. The prepackaged 3 pack: was a half ass rolled pack to start. Then I noticed they seemed short on flower. So I compared it side by side to a .60 from deep roots and that .60 was more than my said to be GRAM PREROLL!! When I packed it down like they should be, it was in total about a half gram in that preroll. If you are going to say it is a GRAM, make sure it is. This will probably cause you to lose another customer and trust me when I say I will tell everyone I know to check, eyeball and compare the items they purchase. In total it should be 4.8 grams of flower via preroll, and I got maybe 3.3 grams. That’s a shortage of 1.5 grams. Not a happy customer at all. I frequently go to all the dispensary’s in Reno. It’s been a while that I was this mad about the purchase.

Do not go to this store! They sold me a faulty product, I then returned it unused, and demonstrated that not only that it was faulty, but it also damaged my equipment. They refused to do ANYTHING about it. Much better places in town with top quality customer service.

I.. honestly wrote a really, really long review for this place a second ago, and Leafly totally lost it when I left clicked the background. I'll keep it quick. This place has SUCKED ever since they merged the medical and recreational sides. They have lost at least 90% of their staff from when I used to visit. I've been coming to this dispensary for 2 years, and I used to spend over $100 weekly there. It used to be delightful, but the new staff is mostly awful, and the manager has always been a massive jag. The kind of dude to not even print out your medical recommendation if you've had it printed out before. The weed sucks. Hood Oil and their house flower used to be SO MUCH BETTER. I'm amazed at how awful everything there is now. COVID has only cheapened the awful experience. The lines are massive. They removed the medical line. Worst of all, they will not give you terpene information on anything you purchase. They WILL throw you out for asking, I have been. They told me to CALL AHEAD and make the girl in intake find the terpenes for me, which took 10+ minutes every time and was totally ridiculous. Do NOT visit. In fact, please visit Sierra Wellness instead if you're looking for another budget place that wants to give you a good deal. I'm getting 3 grams of MPX there for $25 each. I got a $60 half ounce of Hippie Crippler the other day that was great. Two free prerolls for curbside pickup at night as well. Great curbside that switched items out for me when they ran out of stuff. They'll call you if they need help too. The more I think of Sierra Well, the less I worry about how far SSR has fallen. Do not waste your time.

Easy to find, located in a very open and professional looking spot, amazing costumer service and the best advice EVER!!! And the prices are amazing (compared to CA)...

This was a great experience. I searched a couple dispensaries and I chose SSR because they had some Acapulco Gold for a great price. I wasn't expecting much for a bargain weed. (it's all I can afford). to my surprise, it was fantastic. Every dispensary in Oregon and Washington could take a lesson from you. The people were really nice. I already knew what I was after. The only complaint, which is not on you, is, I ate a whole container of gummies and nothing happened. I was hesitant to purchase them at 20 bucks but, I was about to catch a flight to PHX and needed something in my system. Apparently edibles don't work on this kid. But the flowers were great. People were great. I would go back again and again. I highly recommend SSR. Thank you so much for accepting out of state medical cards. :)

Bought some shake. It was dry as a bone. Like dust. Makes me really cough badly. If I didn't know better it had mold in it

After going to almost all the different dispensaries in Reno. I chose and will stay at silver state relief. That have plenty of supply. Tons of different products. And they are actually reasonable. Not to mention the location rocks!

It's a good shop that i would like to see carry more variety and better tasting products...its not much good that it has a ton of thc if it tastes like poop.

I would recommend this location to anyone who appreciates good ganja! Their budtenders such as Tia are very helpful and do everything they can to make sure you leave 100% satisfied! Definitely coming through again!

Great Service!! Everyone was very friendly. Medication was of good quality, some better than others. Location is a little out of the way but the service and prices make it worth the drive!

Kyle was an amazing dude. He was very up front and honest about the product I was buying making it super easy to get the right strand. He was super chill too. Overall great guy and great store.

I recently started coming to Silver State and already liked the employees, but this weekend I had a different experience. Rexford's customer service completely made up for the seemingly endless wait in line. He was patient, took the time to explain things I didn't know, and I felt like he truly cared about selling me the right product. I could also hear him giving the same level of service to the man before me! This is what makes people like me come back.

Just when I thought this one time fab place couldn't get worse..IT DID:( All that made SSR is now a thing of the past..their forward progressed abruptly ceased July 1, 2017 as Recreational weed became available.. Specializing in grams and 1/8 ounce sales now, terrible selection and really no nothing budtenders..This time..I WON'T BE BACK..CYA

I have had the opportunity to try several dispensaries in the Reno/Sparks area and Silver State Relief is the best hands down. The Staff has always been respectful from being greeted at the door through the entire buying experience, my favorite budtender by far is Kristopher H, he is very knowledgeable and always there to help you get it right the first time, I won't go anywhere else. Keep up the great service SSR, Your are the best!

I came to Silver State not knowing much about weed. Kyle S. was able to explain the difference between strands, and all the different kinds of weed. He was nothing but friendly and helpful.I was in and out of here in about 10 minutes. Excellent customer service, and establishment.

The store was amazing but what really stood out was my bud tender Kyle S he was really chill very knowledgeable and made sure to get me the type of strain I was looking for whole cracking jokes making sure I was comfortable and having a great time in the store I recommend him as a bud tender even if you have to wait a bit. He normally wears a hat has glasses and a beard give him a try you won't regret it.

Honestly out off all of the dispensarys I've been too Silver State Relief is one of my favorites. I always leave feeling satisfied with my purchase and feel right at home when speaking with the Budtenders. Silver State gets a big thumbs up from me & as long as they're around I'll be a loyal customer 👍
