Once again the Squirrel Hill location is a joke and is what you should look for in how to NOT operate a dispensary. Fast track is a joke written on paper, someone from the back has to come get it. They can't even keep patients files in order, and not talking about me getting skipped over because I had to see the doctor, I have continuously been skipped over. Once due to being skipped over, they ran out of what I had driven 80 miles for. Their other location gets 5 stars all the way. Cranberry location > Squirrel Hill

They have been closed the past few days due to low inventory, however they didn't inform anyone. They have a tiny sign on the front door, but if you drove 20 min, and your in alot of pain, it's a drag that they didn't post this online, or send out a digital announcement so that we didn't drive all the way. Even their voicemail doesn't say that they would be closed for several days. This is very unprofessional in my opinion.

interesting thing about pa dispensaries (this is the one i'm most familiar with)... there's no feedback mechanism to the grower or the state. Did the product work as you had hoped given the description and analysis? What symptoms did it help with? Would you purchase this again if it were available? Would you purchase this again if it were in a different form? So often--the good stuff comes and goes VERY QUICKLY--they couldn't grow more? How would they know it worked if they don't ask? Also--grams packaged like a sarcophagus yet stemmy, kinda like second shelf stuff they were gonna throw away. This is a turnoff Very, very, very, very silly to do it this way I think. But don't ask me--no one else does.

I give Solevo respect for being the first dispensary to open in Pittsburgh, but they have a severe lack of products compared to every other dispensary in Pittsburgh. they closed on New year's Eve and as a result patients had to go to other dispensaries that we're open. and the give only 5% veterans discount . until they get much better on these issues, I have a hard time recommending this dispensary to anyone.

I’ve been going to Solevo pretty much since day one. THE GOOD: The ppl at the front desk and the security guards are always very pleasant...as are most of the budtenders. Although, there are a couple I don’t care for. Erin is awesome though! I really enjoy being waited on by her but I usually do fast track and I don’t get her very often. I also like that I can bring guests into the waiting area with me instead of making them wait in the car. I live in the south hills so I usually make it a point to stop in at solevo when I’m in the area already anyway which means I sometimes have my husband or someone in the car with me. So, it’s nice that they can wait inside. They also have a 30 day return policy in comparison to most which have a 24 hour return policy...but I’ll address their return policy further in “the bad”. THE BAD: Solevo has the smallest selection of any of the dispensaries I’ve visited. Also, the prices usually aren’t that great. Although sometimes they have an item or 2 I like on sale so I’ll stop in. BUT...god forbid you get a defective item!!! They treat you like dirt if you try to return anything! I’ve received several bad cartridges that either didn’t work or that leaked back when solevo first opened. I returned a couple of them but eventually quit bothering because they’d make me feel guilty...as if I was doing something to cause them to leak. Meanwhile EVERYONE ELSE was having the same problem! Eventually they redesigned them and usually the cartridges are all pretty good now...occasionally though you still get a bad one. I purchased a vape/battery combo a couple months back and the threads on either the cartridge or the battery were messed up because the cart wouldn’t attach to the battery. Then last week, I bought a bunch of stuff during the anniversary sale and the one disposable pen didn’t work and the gio battery/cart I purchased was messed up and I couldn’t get the pod to detach from the cartridge. I drove all the way back to solevo the next day to exchange the items and I was basically treated like I was trying to get one over on them by Rocco the manager. I was asked to hit the pen to prove it wasn’t working then I kinda felt like he was implying that I must have smoked it all...but I have a stockpile of products and I don’t need to cheat solevo out of an $18 sale item! Believe me...if I was gonna smoke up a product and try to get a refund, it wouldn’t be an item that cost $18! I drove an hour to solevo to return it...then another hour back home. My time and gas is worth a lot more than $18! Needless to say, I’m not happy with how I was made to feel...not just this time but every time I’ve had an issue. I’ve always gone in with a smile DESPITE having to drive all the way to return items that SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN DEFECTIVE IN THE FIRST PLACE...but I understand that these things happen especially in the beginning when the growers were still working out the kinks. SO THE LEAST SOLEVO CAN DO IS TO BE UNDERSTANDING OF MY SITUATION IN RETURN! A simple “hey im really sorry...let’s see what we can do to fix this” would go a LONG way! Instead...I always got a sigh, an eye roll and a head shake! In the beginning, solevo was the only dispensary in town so I HAD to put up with that treatment. BUT NOW THAT I HAVE OPTIONS? No thanks...I’ll only go to solevo if and when I absolutely have to...

The fact that I live less than a mile away from Solevo makes it a no-brainer that this is the dispensary that I would visit the most. The location is convenient with more than enough parking in the lot. I've been to every dispensary in town, and this location feels the most-secure and convenient of all of the dispensaries in the area. I like that the building is isolated by itself and you don't have to deal with walking down a street or through a more-public parking lot. Solevo has a nice selection of product that changes daily and can be easily viewed on their website which is updated a few times each day. Unfortunately, all of these updates means that the product fluctuates often with many strains selling out within a few hours or days of them being listed on the menu. So if you see something you like, sometimes you gotta go quick to get it. I've also noticed that the cheaper products such as Terrapin flower, Cresco concentrates and Terrapin cartridges all seem to sell much quicker than all of the other products, so if you see some more-reasonably price products that you like, I would stock up while they are there. Solevo also has daily markdowns on products and some sales on occasion which is really the only time I can afford to even try any of the higher priced flowers or concentrates. Prices overall for medical marijuana in PA are quite high at the moment with some products that are priced reasonably, and Solevo seems to be priced around the rest of the competition in the area. Overall this is one of my favorite dispensaries to go to, though they can get quite crowded during certain hours, but they have a large waiting room with comfortable chairs, good reading material, and they are always listening to great music which makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.

I live closer to the Washington dispensary but have been driving to Solevo for the past few months. Why? 10% veterans discount and a card that will give you an additional 10% off after 5 visits making my discount 20% total.

TLDR: helpful staff, check the online reservations to see what’s actually in stock, secluded space for kids/anxious patients for someone with anxiety, this is not my favorite dispensary. due to COVID restrictions, there’s an occupancy limit and often people standing in line outside. once inside, i typically wait for about 15-25 minutes. (i wait in the pediatric room to hide from the large waiting room, and i always have an online order) however, i always leave happy! the staff takes their time with each patient to find products that work for them. Lia spent at least 20 minutes with me, identifying specific terpenes in various products that would target the specific symptoms i was looking to treat. it’s a little bit more pricy than other dispensaries, but not by much. all in all, this is one of my go to dispensaries.

There's no point in looking at the menu until you're at the counter because chances are they'll sell out of whatever you pick on the menu. I'm always leaving slightly annoyed and disappointed.

I have been to this location about 4-5 times and I can say everyone is always very friendly and welcoming from the security guards to reception to the Budtenders. Each Budtender has a bit of knowledge to share &! I am like a sponge. Which is helpful. I would definitely recommend Solevo-Squirrel Hill. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beautiful dispensary with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Lots of parking right on site. It’s conveniently located just off I-376 and is in Squirrel Hill, a nice neighborhood with great restaurants and shops. It just opened so it’s been super crowded and their stock is low, but that’s understandable for the first few days.

Unstable menu. Unsure if related to popularity or inventory. If they didnt have best prices on flower im not sure theyd have my business.
