Sunnyside Cannabis Dispensary - South Beloit

This was my first visit to a dispensary in Illinois. I've been to a bunch in CO and WA prior to the pandemic. Sunnyside was great! The online ordering was super simple and the pick-up was just as easy. The staff was very friendly - Riley was my budtender and was nice and helpful - I wish I could have tipped him! My only complaint is the pricing. When you see what CO and WA are currently selling the same product for (half to even a 1/3 the price), it stings a little, but I'm assuming it will level out eventually (since they are years ahead of IL). Anyway, I still loved it and will definitely be coming back.

I have been coming to this location since there first day open, like any business they have made mistakes but in my experience have always made it right in the end. This to me is huge having worked retail for most of my life and having recently been received multiple wrong orders (from regular companies not Sunnyside) that refused to fix there errors. This means Sunnyside is a Reputable company that cares about it's customers, and that's less and less these days from any company. No I don't have affiliation with the company other than being a long time customer, but from my experience this dispensary stands above a lot of others that I have shopped. Now just if Illinois could lower there tax rate as the high price is because of Illinois taxing every step of the process. I personally will be continuing to shop this location and highly recommend them to others as well.

Sunnyside was a great experience. 5 stars for them. My concern is for people going out of state, beware of entrapment,police parked across street from entrance/exit of Sunnyside.

This an efficient and friendly operation. Designed well and staffed to keep the line moving quickly. It was clean and full of things to look at while traversing the line.

The new South Beloit IL is the best dispensary and from the start of my visit to the end, I always feel welcome. Jordan helped me on my most recent visit. She was so friendly and she (and Edgar) was extremely knowledgeable. She is truly an asset to your company.

I got a eighth of holy grail kush by NATURES GRACE, DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND!! yesterday the 31st of may I got a eighth that was 1.4 grams of undeveloped seeds i wont even smoke it and I have yet to hear anything about fixing this problem. There is also blueberry flower that is full of undeveloped seeds also this is soppose to be a dispensary that stands behind there product alot of people are going to get really mad I've had multiple problems but none are as bad as this one seed is no big deal but over 30 I. A eighth that's a problem Natures grace shouldnt be growing if that's what they produce

These people think that because they’ve cornered the quasi-legal sales to WI market they can just do whatever the hell they want. On multiple occasions I have opened the product to find human hairs entangled with my nugs. They do not try very hard to follow social distancing guidelines- opting instead to have armed guards who can’t figure out what way arrow signs should point yelling at you to stand on sidewalk cracks (which is less than 6 ft). On very busy days they wrap the line around such that the end of the line and the beginning of the line are less than a foot apart (thereby doubling the people customers are exposed to). When I suggested that the line should be doubled up instead of wrapped around the white guy with poorly kept dreadlocks bitched at me and said that it would violate social distancing (it would, but only half as much as the system they put us through and this is not the first time said white dude w/ dreads was unreasonably cold). The weed is super average, and as mentioned before, occasionally comes w/ free human hair. The edibles are extremely overpriced. The concentrate is good, however the cartridges and disposable pens are grievously overpriced (its all overpriced but the edibles & vapes moreso.) My advice for edible consumers is to buy concentrates and prepare your own edibles at home, it will reduce the cost fivefold and also you will be able to take home more medicine at a time. My advice for flower consumers is to find a better store. My advice for the managers is to fire the white dreadlock dude because I will not be coming back until that issue is dealt with, and if he is having a bad day as frequently as it seems then surely other customers have similar experiences. Lastly, occasionally they will run out of what you ordered and they of course swap it for presumably a similar product. While it would be appreciated if they could send you some notice before hand, at the very least I would expect them to discuss the swapped product w/ you so you may be certain it meets your needs. Ok, actual lastly, the Indica/Sativa/Hybrid shit is fake. I have no faith in there ability to discern medical customer’s needs because everything is branded as sativa= awake indica = asleep and it is frequently not that simple. And also, they are too cowardly to call Durban Poison what it is- Durban Poison. An utter disgrace.

I felt very welcomed into the building, from security, front desk, information ipad guy and cashier! I asked a lot of specific questions and they were answered with knowledge and a smile. I felt very comfortable from start to finish!

I drove over an hour to find out what I ordered was no longer available, talk about dissapointing. This has happened more than once at this location. They also don't have a rewards system but the Rockford location does....makes sense🤦‍♂️

it was cool i like the streamline look of the place no fuss they get down to business then you leave my favorite type of place flower is pungent and fresh carts are always good if you get cresco others are hit or miss

Closed early at 745pm on 4/9/21 because of a "line surge". Many cars were turned away by security. The hours are 8am-8pm. I came back today to pick up the order I wanted last night. I should've gotten a discount of some sort for the inconvenience OR just went to Rockford..

I was in last Thursday, had an issue with my card and I kept having to go back to atm (not the fault of any of you) the button may have been sticking and I had one to many failed attempts to use my card. Becca (I'm told there's 2, nothing against the other but this was Becca with darker hair, glasses) was my bud tender for maybe 3rd time? At the least, 2nd. SHE'S AWESOME! Really easy to talk to regarding everything she'll answer pretty much any question, very helpful! Pleasant. Everything you'd want to keep doing business there. Perry came up at the end- there's a quality guy if there ever was one. That guy is ALWAYS cool! Super chill, friendly and seems super quality. I have no doubt he is. Dylan has helped me several times- THAT guy knows his stuff! He's great. Josh is quality. John? Maybe it's Jon? Good guy. I'm from kenosha and I drive to South Beloit rather than closer ones, because the staff is second to none.

I’ve been to Sunnyside South Beloit twice now. Today is no wait. The vibe is waaay better than Rockford. The Budtenders are awesome. I think Kat was my bud tender. They are good at changing your order and recommending products. I was buying Blueberry today and a bud tender passing by said, “Hey we just got Blueberry Headband in.” Guess what? I bought another 3.5 grams. My only complaint is the price. $80 for 3.5 grams after tax. Still a great store.

I asked the Budtender about the effectiveness and cost of Veil, Weed Smoke Odor Eliminator Spray Bottle. The Tender of line 6, Cory W. was totally honest and he could have easily lied to push a sale. Cory said he had never used it and called the 420 on the floor over to see if she knew anything about it. Nope, nothing, nobody had tried it or knew anything about it. That did not surprise me, I mean it's legal. What did surprise me was the honesty of all of the employees. That impressed me enough to throw down another twenty bucks and test it out for everyone. Well, It works FANTASTIC! Corey W., The 420 & Entire Line-up of Budtenders working that day deserve all the credit for that sale. I've tried a ton of Sprays, Scent Bombs, Hanging Christmas Trees, Odor Removers and/or Dope Smell Repellents for my vehicle with no success. The Bottle of Veil has never made it out of the car, it works GREAT. Thank You Corey W.! My friend, You deserve a tip jar, at the very least. Store doesn’t open till 10 but advertises online and on the front door that it opens at 9. Employees were rude and not helpful at all, revise your advertised store hours before more people waste their time with you guys.

the guard with the vent mask mentioned in other reviews is still there, but the shop itself is nicely managed and laid out

Wait times can be frustrating. Maddie was my budtender and she is top notch. Very helpful and pleasant. And she has the most beautiful eyes. 😉
