Wow... price, price, prices... Even the brownies are costly and very weak. Meds were very dry like always. Folks do your shopping around. I hate to see people being taken advantage of especially those that really need the medicine. Lots of options in town. Do your research. The tree is a nice place and the people are very friendly but none of that matters with prices like that.

they have got to be kidding with these prices. $60 for an eighth?! I'm sorry but nobodys weed is that good. Ill go up the street to Desert Rose and get the same quality for half that price

Not sure where the patients referencing low grad meds are talking about. Definitely not here. Cannadential at 24.1% THC and near 50/50 hybrid is not low grade. I actually appreciate that they have a range of meds (even the 13% stuff at $42 an eighth). At least this is a state licensed dispensary, so they care enough to have there meds tested, unlike caregiver clubs. Sure it's expensive, but you're paying the same price as other dispensaries that are on par with a mental hospital waiting room. This place is more on par with Starbucks and they can actually take your credit card. I saw a caregiver (20 something years old) drop off meds at a caregiver circle. Although they're meds were cheaper by far, it's good to know that my money isn't going towards his brand new Mercedes. True story. At least here I know my money is going to a top notch facility, outstanding meds, and an incredible staff.

I wanted to try this one because it is within walking distance of my house but I wasn't impressed with this dispensary. The girl who took my information was good and efficient and quick. There is no place to sit while you wait for your order to be filled, just have to wander around the store and there's not much to look at. They take your order on tablets and my order was messed up. It was buy 1 get 1 half off on flower. So I had already picked 1 strain when he told me about the BOGO 1/2 off. So I picked the 2nd strain and waited quite a while. When I got up to the desk to pay they had the 2nd strain in the bag but not the original. I brought it to their attention and they asked if I wanted to change. I said no because I was tired of waiting. I'm a medical patient and my back hurt, I can't stand a long time, So I was not happy with the place and won't go back. My regular dispensary prioritizes medical people.

Short wait times are the best thing about the place, sad as it is to say. The flower was good but I wouldn't pay the price again. Announcing new lower prices and still maintaining $40+ eighths is a sham. If you're on a fixed income there are much better everyday prices in the neighborhood.
The budtenders were nice but weren't too keen to give adequate details on the individual characteristics. Asked about 7 different strains and got 3 vague descriptions, maybe they were hungry as I did go in before lunch.

This place was highly recommended to me, so I came with a very positive expectation... First impression; the waiting room is super comfy, like I'm in someones living room. The receptionist was welcoming so that was nice.... ..it almost made me forget how incredibly funky weird the air smelled. Not like weed. Like chemically. Like "My god, what is that strange smell"?!?. I get led back to the sales room, I'm not sure if I got the wrong budtender, but seriously, I think she was frustrated with my presence. I was asking questions, alot of questions.. about product, about ingredients in their house vapes.... she seemed offended and the answers felt kind of forced, maybe she was tired and done with the day, I don't know. Well long story short, I left without product, I left feeling less than welcomed by the staff... with the exception of the receptionist. I don't think I'll be returning sadly.

just became a leafly member or i would have posted this earlier.patient 5680 1st time visit got the 35 dontation 1/8th deal. Very seedy(not the good seeds) i was surprised so i got less. I understand the price vaule but still i was displeased. I also got the white widow which smoke nicely and i got a free pre roll witch smoke nicely. So i get mixed reviews . i'd be willing to give there shop another try . But i suggest staying away from there cheaper meds.

I try to visit different places just to see what's out there. These reviews are misleading. While I like the thought of using a licensed dispensary, the prices and med quality here will prevent my return.
$65 an eighth for meds that are far too dry? I get better meds delivered to my house for far less. Do not let atmosphere guide your decisions...shop my friends....shop.

Horrible set up!! People just cut in line even if I have a online order and my medical card. This place is a joke last time here.

I don’t know what didn’t translate from the other location but the bud here seems a bit over priced now. Maybe I’m just noticing all the pricing because you have to wait 40 minutes at minimum even on their slowest day. The employees and the flow of people is far to slow for the volume of customers this location gets. The bud is good but with the wait times and then constantly being out of stuff. What exactly are you paying for. I understand all the Rec patients have questions but no one has time to wait at your store for almost an hour.

$93 a gram for terps on the rocks?! Go kick rocks! You can literally get sauce for no more than $55 a gram at places that sell sauce ! AT MOST $55 a gram! Ridiculous price and I hope you guys have never weaseled anyone into buying that! That’s just not cool! Bet it doesn’t really sell, I promise it’s not selling!

Best quality hash around, I just wish I didn't have to call and ask which strains you have every time I want to buy hash :( Perhaps list them online? Also great strains of flower I've picked up is their White Widow and their Deathstar.

Have visited about 10-12 times since GT has opened. When they had first opened their meds were fantastic with prices extremely too high. 400-440$ ounces? I dont think so, especially with a couple other dispensaries prices.. This makes me sick because the meds I grow (and now have to stop growing at the end of december because of this place in particular) blow each and every strain they have ever had (The old frankenberry, tangerine, and original Cannadential were fantastic ill give them that).
However, as a grower, I can tell the neglect and carelessness the plants had been given. I can also tell the "indoor" meds I was sold were most definitely OUTDOOR. Looks and taste give that one away. They need to hire new growers or at least hire someone that can teach the current growers what nutrients and nutrient schedules are. Since opening, I have noticed a steady and disappointing decline of quality in GT's meds. The cure is now half-assed, they are extremely skimpy on nutrients, they plants were begging for food. So much actually that the growers harvested the plants early because the plants had been loosing color (This is caused when the plants are deprived of food and begin to take the stored nutrients from leaves that you're suppose to leave until the last couple weeks) I know this as a fact because half of the pistils on the buds are still white. Meaning the plant had not fully matured when it was harvest. This leads to prematurely developed trichomes, meaning very decreased thc content. Like mentioned before, after they first opened the meds were trimmed properly, fresh, moist, cured properly, and of much higher quality.
My last unfortunate complaint is of the bud tenders. The two I absolutely love is the middle aged blonde lady, she is very sweet and was always extremely happy to help. And the bigger boned (please do not take as offensive the dude is super cool) guy, he is always awesome and fun to work with; loves to chat with patients and gives off a very caring-vibe. Now for the negative part. About the bald guy with gauges, wears the fedora looking hat. I went awhile refraining from posting anything bad about the guy. The first bad experience I thought maybe he just had a bad day. The second time, I thought maybe a bad 2 weeks? But nope 3,4,5th time this guy needs to have something brought to light. First off, the guy is pretty rude. Walking in, he looks right at me "hey hows it goin" Then looks right back at his computer not acknowledging me until I ask for something. Does not ask anything on a personal level to build any type of relationship, and when I asked about combining a discount I got a rude response as if I was asking him to just give me free stuff. "You want me to do both of them..???" Like damn right, with as much as I have spent there. It's not coming out of his pocket (or anyones really with prices like they charge) 330 for stuff you can get from 250 at other dispensaries. And the 400 dollar ounces are an easy 320-340 anywhere else.
I think thats enough ranting for now. Ill be back once more to use my 40$ credit and probably wont return.
GT better change something because the competition is now having me drive 50 minutes south (40 minutes south of GT, meaning I drive right past them)
Pros:
A few of the people there are great. Friendly, caring, and fun to work with.
Location is fantastic, Very safe and convenient.
Cons:
Read all above
In short: Prices, people, product. The big the P's. 2/5 2/5 2/5

It's truly sad to see uneducated people at the helm of this establishment. Non-organic medicine, weird people, and a rude owner. Stay in the AZ market. You guys wouldn't last with the big dogs

They advertise they don’t do recreational right now, but SURPRISE they do. They increased prices as well.

I use the North Phoenix location...staff and products always EXCEED my expectations. If you are a professional/discrete person and wish to feel comfortable (e.g. a very pleasant atmosphere for patients), I highly recommend The Giving Tree. THANK YOU Alex and the entire staff for helping me manage my chronic rheumatological pain and PTSD.
