The Green Planet - Beaverton

BEST 1ST TIME EXPERIENCE visiting an Oregon dispensary since moving from The Bay Area a few months ago. I have purchased flower at almost a dozen dispensaries in the Portland Metro area & this is the first time I found prices/quality comparable to the medical marijuana offered inside the MMJ dispensaries & wellness centers of Northern California. Here are my observations & thoughts.... 1. Budtender Jacob - Confident in suggesting/discouraging strains based on my needs while still allowing me the space to smell/explore my own requests | energetically relaxed yet focused | inviting smile | didn't make me feel rushed despite other visitors waiting in the room | honored the 10% discount coupon from Dope Magazine for my entire order :) 2. Creepy Cody (aka ID checker doorperson) - named Creepy Cody by the staff | creepy smile | creepy eyes | randomly opens door, makes a creepy face & then shuts door again | totally made me laugh...& the staff too!!! 3. Recreational Outdoor Prices - $5-$15/gram | 1/8ths start between $16-$23 (tax included) | since i am a multiple time daily smoker & on a strict budget I need cheap quality flower & this is what I paid in Berkeley, CA - Woop Woop!!! 4. Strains - over 30 indoor & outdoor strains showcased in big glass containers | majority hybrid varieties | i personally prefer outdoor sativa/sativa dominant hybrid strains with a THC content between 15-20%, which they had several for me to choose from | did not have my personal 2 favorite strains available - Green Crack & XJ-13 5. AK-47 - $23 1/8th | sativa dominant hybrid | outdoor | 17.93% THC | immediate strong head high | analytical thinking | urge to write | thumbs up | would definitely buy again 6. Lemon Kush - $6/gram | indica/sativa hybrid | outdoor | 19.83% THC | mellow body high | wanna watch tv & chill | thumbs up | would buy again when lack of other options 7. Recreational Indoor Strains/Prices - very similar to other Oregon dispensaries I have visited | $10-$15/gram | $35-$50 1/8ths | did not purchase I am super excited & relieved to have discovered The Green Planet!!! It is my new favorite 'go to' location. I have already recommended it to a friend & hope my review encourages more CA transplant peeps to check this place out! Thank you. I will be back again soon.

Whenever I have the chance I fly my spaceship (okay, its actually a '98 Saturn) to the Green Planet. Great bud, great deals, great people.

First time in a dispensary and was the best experience I've had. The atmosphere was chill, and the service was great. The selections and knowledge of Strains was on point. I felted like a kid in a candy store. The Purple Kush and Dr Funk. Blow my mind love it. Great job guys. I will be back.

Great prices! Sweet glass shop while you wait to see bud tender! $40-$44 good outdoor flower! Nice different high! Great staff!! Lots of clones!! :)

The chillest crew I've ever come across. I've never been let down or disappointed. Professional knowledge when in need of suggestions. Totally dig Dr. Funk, Snoops Dream, and UW#1. Good luck finding a better dispensary.

Visited this location once never again budtender know very little about meds. Meds were very harsh not flushed will never return. I am from socal this would never fly I social and should not be allowed to happen here

I have ben stopping by a couple of times a week since the end of prohibition. I really enjoy all of the people who work there. Crystal is definitely a charmer. I think that I might have lost money on my previous visit and everyone has tried to help out. How wonderful that they care so much for their clientele. Will I be back, for sure. See y'all soon.

I loved the Green Planet. I was helped quickly, I was given great service and the prices are nice also. The guy that helped me was very knowledgeable and I wasn't sure what I really wanted, but I told him what things I was looking for and he had great suggestions for me. Frequent customer! I always manage to get in and out quickly here and always have excellent service provided by all employees, especially Siri. She's always very helpful and friendly! I definitely reccomend!

First time shopping here. The parking is really bad. Had to park a block away. Lobby is ok. Full of glass pipes and vape supplies, typical of smoke shops. The girl at the check in was very nice explained everything in a nice, friendly way. Probably her 300th time doing so but she made it seem like her first. Take a number and wait. I felt like I was at the DMV. Took 45 min to go in the back. Long wait was not what I was expecting. Eric on the back was awesome. Answered all my questions and wants in a nice informed way about different strains. He was by far the best part of the visit...well, other than the product :) I got three strains and couldn't be happier with the quality. Good full buds of what I would consider better than what I have seen at other shops in Portland and Vancouver. I will be back, hope fully the wait won't be as long next time.
