The Novel Tree - Bellevue

The Novel Tree is my dispensary of choice. The staff are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is great. Flower selection ranges from trim to top shelf, and there is a similar range in edibles, cartridges and extracts. You can find some of the best cannabis on the West Coast here. And their loyalty program is a huge bonus!

The atmosphere was really nice and cozy, and the guy at the entrance was really friendly. My budtender was not really knowledgeable of the different strains, sadly. I bought half a gram of Canna-tsu wax and am very disappointed with it, and kind of mad to be honest. The wax was processed over 10 months ago and was really bad quality. It had a ton of impurities and sizzled in my dab pen and destroyed the battery and two atomizers... Not sure if I want to go back after that, but I wish I could since they seem to have a great selection and decent prices.

Sold me a broken vape pen and wouldn’t work with me to refund or at least replace it. They even tried and confirmed and “said oh that’s weird”. Front desk was friendly, manager was not at all. Have had no issues everywhere else. Will not and haven’t been back since.

Went back after a 2 month hiatus, nothing's changed, the weed is still month's old, budtender's full of crap, try this 8 month old weed it's the bomb. LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my favorite spots. If I ran my own shop this would be the model. clean, cool earthy amibiance. great staff selection and decent quality. wouldn't hurt to play some music and offer some daily or weekly deals but all in all a top notch place. check em out!

Nice store. But don't like the setup. I prefer to browse as opposed to picking off a menu. The selection is OK, they seem like more of a glass shop. Most of the staff is nice though.

Thoughtfully design space with very knowledgeable and friendly staff to welcome you in and take care of your cannabis needs. The most important thing to me when purchasing these medicines is a great selection of sustainably/organic, outdoor/full sun, and lower THC percentage options. They’ve got you covered in this arena. I’ve shopped in multiple states and all over Washington and they have to be one of the best I’ve encountered. Thanks TNT!

Always a relaxed atmosphere here. Bud tenders are quick with a recommendation or advice for novices! Shantel helped this morning with a number of Sativa or hybrid choices to pick from. And judging by this initial smoke on Acapulco Gold, she knows her stuff!!! 🤘🏼🤙🏼💚

There are two parts to this business- the medical side was closed when I arrived but the rec side had an excellent budtender, Eric C. He gave me excellent advice and helped me pick the right products for my symptoms. Thank you for the kind and knowledgeable service. This is what a cannabis shop should be like.

Often an organization succeeds based upon the performance, knowledge, effort, and wisdom of one or two key individuals. Without these key individual participants, the organization would likely and very simply drift into obscurity along with the hundreds of others. Matt Kovarsky overwhelmingly made Novel Tree the place of choice of hundreds of medical and recreational users in the greater Seattle area. We heard recently that Matt Kovarsky is no longer with Novel Tree as of November, 2023. While his defining contribution will and can never be fully undone, Novel Tree will never be even close to the same store that it was with his presence. Matt Kovarsky was THE SINGULAR REASON we chose Novel Tree for so very many years. Now that we hear that he is gone, we find it quite hard not to look for another dispensary. Matt Kovarsky, you will be sorely, sorely missed! Does anyone know where he has gone?
