This is currently my favorite landrace strain, and probably my favorite Sativa. My dad's generation always talked up Acapulco, but until moving to Tucson I dismissed it as Cheech & Chong nostalgic B.S. No more.
This is the only strain I've sampled that is truly a golden color, with practically no green, purple, or orange. It is one of (if not the only) sativa that is not at all anxiolytic. The THC content is not overwhelming compared to something like G.C. or Alaskan, but that's a good thing if you plan to go out in public. Euphoria is the defining mental characteristic.
This strain helps me with depression at least as well as Cherry Pie or Bubblegum. With overtones of toffee and mocha, this is the perfect morning smoke.
I've sampled a lot and this is has remained one of my top 5 desert island strains without question. This is no hipe; this is real gold.
Just had a gram of this that lasted literally a week. Smoke small bowls of this and I was lit for a good two hours! Extremely Blown! Very well worth strain to grab your hands on! Definitely recommend.

🚀..My cool breeze on this hot Az summer day!..been smoking AG for many years, my fav Sativa then & Now. Soo cerebral I want to create 24/7. A FUN daytime stone, always a great Mood Elavator. Zaps my PTSD & blasts the Chronic Pain, fighting Fatigue. I suggest a try if you want to get High! Bee well, stay cool! 🍦🤒
It’s my go-to when I have things to do and no motivation. Especially when I’m in an ADHD paralysis mode. Also has a nice taste! I think it’s my favorite maintenance strain.
This may be my favorite day time strain I've found do far. It has a great energizing effect that has been looking for small chores to do around the house. The plan was to watch football and relax but instead I find myself with this need to be productive. For proof, I ended up feeling the need to write this review even though I never review anything online.
Well, let’s start off that it was off a Jeeter. The taste was more on the tropical and fruity side than anything.
This strain gets me aroused like dosidos, I went from doing the deeds to talking about why and when was deodarant invented. My thought then was if natives didn’t buy deodorant back in the day, was it because they were all nose blind to the smell?….. or in fact they didn’t need it due to no harsh chemicals being used in their non processed food. I love when a sativa like this hits, it reminds me of ICE. 10 out of 5 for me. Def my top 3 sativa.
Unless you are using Barney's Farm genetics for your seeds you are not growing Acapulco Gold. No fem seeds for this cultivator and I love the beautiful green canopy of this plant especially grown outside in an arid environment with a long (and I mean long) growing season. Prepare to spend 7 months growing your AG and you will be pleasantly surprised by the great yield and wonderful product. Very citrus-y smelling and with a 60 day cure you'll have one of the finest smoking blends around for what ails you.
Acapulco Gold concentrate was recommended to me by my dispensary. I was looking for a Sativa to balance the (Hash Plant).
Happy 😃. This will work! I’ve developed a new fondness for Sativa (creativity). This strain positively enhances your mood.
The lineage speaks for itself. Another satisfied consumer reporting. I’ll be adding this as my go to Sativa considering availability.
Purity, Clarity, Uplifting, Focus, and Lucid.
