One joint is literally like drinking 3 shots of espresso
Incredible "original", non- hybridized strain that delivers a euphoric, pain-free and psychadelic experience.
This is one of the "true OG" strains used for hashish, and is a go- to for me now.
This strain delivers a Much cleaner high for me than most hybrids.
The taste is delightful - pine/woody flavor.
This is a great one to have in nature or mellow indoor environment, as the effects are best enjoyed where one can completely give in to the paychadelic/spiritual effects.
Great for listening to music, contemplating life, art, journaling, etc...
Review is based on the organic outdoor grown strain from Mayhew Organics (New Mexico). @mayhew
The mayhew is low THC (19%) but also low CBD. Comes on strong and full effects are present in 30 minutes for me.
Highly recommended.
This is on the weaker side of what I'm used to. That being said, it is great to gradually intake over time to counter anxiety and paranoia that can come from the stronger stuff that can clobber you over the head. If you are trying to condition yourself to get past becoming paranoid and anxious when you smoke weed, this should help nicely. Smoke a hit or two , wait 10 mins, rinse and repeat until you are where you need to be. SUPER low anxiety strain if you do it this way. But for seasoned tokers, there are much better strains than this one once for ounce.
Ok, I have to add to this review after giving it another week or so...especially since this is too much to ignore. Not only does this strain actually make me horny, but it physically makes me tight in the bathing suit area. Like middle school math class. As in, I'd rather take an "F" than walk up to the board right now.
This strain was very popular years ago in my area (and in high school iirc..) before I used Leafly, and was such a well known and ubiquitous strain I just never really thought to bother with a review of this particular strain- until, a recently gifted specimen of some delicious, beauuuutiful, indoor Afghani was gifted to me by my Pops.
Now I have a lot of anxiety issues and panic attack type of problems, and sometimes heavy (and rather embarrassingly on occasion, even NOT that heavy sometimes) Sativas and Sativa-dominant strains will often rocket right into being “Uncomfortably Numb” in a big way.
So I’m just very big into that super cool, far out, stoney, groovy, righteousness is Indicas. Ahhh hells yusssss.
And man this was the first time in a LONG time since I’d had some good, purple, STICKY Afghani, and it just really reminded me everything I love so much about Indica strains. Not quite couch locked, just... relaxed, feelin’ smooth, feelin’ goooooood maaaan. Like I’m sinking into a warm jacuzzi or something like that.
Had some gnarly ass munchies, killed an obscene amount of fuggin’ milkshakes... I regretted that in the morning but hey, the future’s uncertain and The End is always near! ⏳👁☠️⚰️🗿🌑⌛️
Totally underrated. Tight frosted nugs for the eye. Dulce de leche for the nose and toungue. A cream-textured smoke for the cheeks and lungs. A relaxing effect in small doses. A uniquely dreamy effect in larger ones.
Overall great strain!
Mellow; time seemed to slow a bit after smoking my homegrown indoor buds. Very relaxing.
I really recommend this strain. I'm a cancer guy and actually, with Afghani, I can say bye bye nausea and welcome back my appetite. Pain? No alike before start my medical marijuana treatment.
