Great strain and one of the first original strains of weed ever. The flower smells earthy but sweet not bitter. It seems to work excellent for pain, helps with sleep and seems to lead to a relaxed. Calm/happy strain.

Overall great strain!

This high is a bit of a creeper, but once it fully hits you it’s fantastic. My boyfriend and I smoked it together and we were both very relaxed, a bit tired, very giggly, and hungry. I have chronic pain that weed doesn’t usually do much for, but this strain actually helped. Definitely gonna buy more ASAP! Disclaimer: I got this strain from my local dispensary and they called it “Afghani Purps.” Based on their description (“as close to an Afghani landrace as you can get”) I’m pretty sure it’s the same as regular Afghani, but they threw the words “purps” in there because the buds were purple 🤷‍♀️ But it is possible it was a different strain, so YMMV

This Strain is some good stuff. It wasn't as good as the black Afghan I got from rythem but I see afgani and I know it's a nice pure indica high. The only issue I have is the price for what seems like small buds or shake almost. As I said the black Afghan I got was from rythem. This stuff is from hms brand and it was just shake and mini nugs in my eighths. I buy eighths for the nice nigs. It does what it says it does. And packs and smokes great. I was just a bit annoyed paying 60 for stuff that should be going for like 40 bucks because of the mini nugs or shake. I even had almost a full fan leave in it. Smh 🤦🏼‍♂️ if I'm going to pay 60 and eighth I expect it to be somewhat nuggy I mean the taste the high amazing, but the looks they could have been better for top shelf bud. I give it a 4/5 for the actual effects but in terms of looks idk if I just got a bad batch but y'all need to put shake bud next to the title or else you are confusing people like me. For looks I'd give the Afghani a 1/5 because I was expecting nice nugs like in the picture but I got a bunch of shake pretty much. I'm not one to complain usually in fact this is my first review but I hope you read this as constructive criticism because I enjoy smoking it but it wasn't even a while eighth in the pre seal bag I got it in. That's right bag. It wasn't in a glass jar or plastic container just a tear here baggy. Idk def good stuff but not worth the money for the looks alone. Besides that the strain is on point with alot of mycerene and a bit of pinene for flavor. It's overall a great strain but also a strain I would have paid 40 tops for in this form atleast. Get solid nugs and it would have been 10 times better. But overall I would give 5/5 for this strain but I just have to give it a 4 because I have seen street weed with more nugs than this. Oh well you live and learn. I won't be purchasing from hms brand again at least. I mean I know not everything is looks but paying the price I pay for this stuff I expect it to look good, smoke great, and smell amazing. This lacked on the looks so it's eh. Sorry for my rant but this has been the first time I've kinda been disappointed to get a strain because it's shake and I always smoke shake first so I'll be killing this eighth somewhat fast cuz I save the big pretty nugs for last as I know many people do. This is one of my favorite indica strain. It has a sweet, fruity smell with a sticky resin left on my lips. Great euphoria with complete body relaxation.

This is a strain which focusing heavily on insomnia. The high is heavy, giving a harsh couch lock and a desire to crawl under the covers and go to sleep. Afghani isn't great at much else. The high is a bit too heavy to really call euphoric, and there is some pain relief but not as much as something like Blueberry Space Cake, GG4, or any of the pain relief strains. If you want a strain to knock you out, this is the best I have found. There is a ton of potential to use this as a hybrid with an Indica that provides better pain relief. However I have not experimented enough with the different Afghani hybrids. I would recommend this strain primarily for sleep, but also for those who are so overwhelmed and want to fully give themselves to the couch lock experience. Not a well rounded strain, but a great specialized use.

We grow this outside each year and make crosses with it. Vigorous plants with high yield. Moderate potency and an all around good time. Not as high-THC as some; a little less trippy but very euphoric, especially when extracted to olive oil. Great for chemo nausea. Likes to be crossed with Durban Poison.
