A true delight from the east, Afghani will not disappoint those looking for a soothing, blissful relaxation. After being a lover and regular consumer of strains like King Louis XIII and Northern Lights, which are descended from Afghani genetics, I felt I needed to try the real thing. My experience exceeded my expectations. Afghani packs a sedating heavy indica punch that will obliterate pain and anxiety..Mannnn I'm thankful I found this. Smoked before writing this, and now I'm ready for a rejuvenating night of deep sleep. I feel like a bear in hibernation tucked away cozily deep within the mystical mountains of ancient Afghanistan. I had some valuable self reflection/introspection while on this strain as well, uplifting my mindset with positivity before lulling me to sleep.

Tilray Patient: Excellent strain, very effective for managing PTSD symptoms. Felt very uplifted and happy, without a care in the world. Accompanied with a nice body high, which makes for excellent pain reduction.

This is the one. I fell in love with Obama kush, then Northern lights and Blackberry kush hit me in a similar way, leading me to research if these strains had any common lineage. And guess what it is? AFGHANI!! That’s right- this strain is so powerful I was able to smoke god knows how many strains and be able to identify the ones with AFGHANI IN THEM! Nuff said. I can use this and do anything. Afghani just makes me feel safe and at home, like the world is at peace. :)

I got an 8th of buds delivered from Curaleaf in Tallahassee. They were beautiful and dense. The aroma made my mouth water, very sweet. The euphoria is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm a high-stress guy with plenty of useless anxiety. The first big hit tastes amazing and when I exhale, it's as if I'm in slow motion and all the stress from the day and physical tension are exhausted. The high makes me happy and it's easy to laugh. It definitely makes me heavy and cozy. I don't have a problem staying awake and enjoying the effects, but I don't have trouble falling asleep if that's what I want (which has usually been a struggle). I've tried all kinds of Indicas. 9-pound hammer, Granddaddy Purple, Grape Ape, Blueberry Kush... are all playing second fiddle to this strain, in my opinion. This is my go-to Indica.

Original Afgani # 1 from sensi seeds is great. Not too many of the new afgani hybrids hold up to the original. Not to great of a smoke with the bud and leaf, but excellent for making medicinal grade extracts. Good for narcotic pain and insomnia.

On it own, Afghani was a very good indica strain for sex. It came close to the ideal indica experience: reducing anxiety, promoting relaxation, slowing things down, and heightening sensations. It was an excellent melt into each other strain. The only downside was that it was hard to use for night time sex because it made us (mostly me) too sleepy. Where Afghani really excelled was in pairing with anxiety-producing sativas and hybrids to take off their edge. It was so good at that we treated it as a universal. At the time we had a few zips of anxiety-producing strains and basically sacrificed most of the Afghani to save those batches. It was a true MVP strain. Haven’t found another indica that was as good as fixing wayward sativas and hybrids as Afghani. We liked it so much that we invariably try new strains if they have Afghani in their lineage. We are 50-somethings who vape and have sex pretty much daily. All our reviews focus on our experiences mixing cannabis and sex. We only rate after using an oz so the reviews give a well-rounded impression that captures a strain’s potential, downsides, and typical effects.

Smoked about half a joint five minutes ago. Felt lightheaded. Then I felt giddy tingles creeping in from my periphery. Now I feel like the way the word “ozone” sounds. Feeling shlumped but in a primate sort of way - present, simple, content, humbled, hungry. It’s been 20 minutes since I started typing this but all I gotta say is that I feel like an orangutan without a schedule. -solid strain

This was an Afghani Landrace. Landrace is the pure form of the strain that it's only modification is from it's natural environment - pure strain Afghani - and it is so good. Top notch and a pleasure to find and enjoy.
