Initial impression: My bud-tender told me about this strain, and how it was named after a cannabis activist, the late Jenny Monson. Anything named after an activist in my experience has been always top quality, (cannaseur) quality take for example the late Jack Herer, that strain is one of the hardest hitting sativas in the industry. My initial impression was nothing short of dreamy and here is why.
I use a scale of 10 points, 10 being the highest possible score in any category, with 3 total categories, Taste / Aroma / Potency.
Aroma: 9.5
When I first stuck my nose into the large glass jar containing all of the sticky, dense buds I could barely contain my enthusiasm. I don't normally remark out loud, but I did quietly mutter "damn". That is a first for me, I hope anyone that has a similar experience to mine to please share. This in my humble opinion is in my personal top 5 strains EVER.
Taste: 10
The taste was angelic. I actually smiled as I exhaled what tasted like a warm coco-nuts. The tropical tones in this strain are potent and almost seem to dance on my taste buds. Hands down the best tasting cannabis I have had to date. The people over at "Rare Darkness Seeds" should be proud of their creation. I would encourage the growers to enter this into the Cannabis Cup and see what happens, you never know.
Potency: 8.5
The strength of this euphoria was splendiferious. I was surprised at how quick my head went into the clouds and seemed to stay there. I really did enjoy the high I got from this strain. This strain is truly unique, I would encourage anyone to try this strain. I offer my personal guarantee, if you do not like it, send it to me and Ill smoke it for you.
Final opinion: This strain was awarded the highest possible marks for taste. Overall this score is reflective of the high quality of this product. I will be purchasing this strain again, and in bulk. I refuse to let a strain like this get away, I might even grow it.
Total points awarded: 28 out of 30, this is the highest score I have awarded a strain to date; seriously, try the Jenny Kush, you will not be disappointed, this strain is seriously a cannabis aficionado's dream.
Jenny Kush is absolutely fantastic! I use it mostly in the early and mid evenings to ease my mind when I start getting stressed, and it calms me down perfectly. It's relaxing without being sedating, and still allows one's mind to function in an effective manner as well as giving a boost to creativity. It's this writer's go-to for those long bouts of evening writing and research. It's really a panacea for my psychological issues, as I've used it to calm panic attacks, assist in sleep, keep depression-related thoughts at bay, and to cope through stressful tasks.
Due to its high CBD content for its THC content (at my local dispensary, Bloom Phoenix, their Jenny Kush has a 21-24% THC and 1.2-1.6% CBD content), this strain also relieves both musculoskeletal and neropathic pain remarkably well. Although if you're only seeking pain relief without any psychological effect, I wouldn't use this strain, as the high THC content will give psychological effects to all but those with absurdly high THC tolerances.
It doesn't hit quite as hard as, say, Blueberry Diesal, but it's a more gentle, gradual effect that starts out small, but within about 5-15 minutes (depending on how much you've had to eat), it will peak and last for a decent amount of time. (I generally feel psychological effects for about two hours and pain relief for three when I vaporize.) I don't notice any distinct behaviour changes when I vaporize, so this is something I can vaporize in the morning an hour before I need to leave the house, and still be completely cognizant enough to go about my day. That might not be the case for others, so exercise caution!
A little bit of background: I consume medicinally to treat both chronic musculoskeletal pain and a myriad of psychological issues (depression NOS, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, PTSD, autism). So please note that this review is told by a medicinal angle and not a recreational one-- basically I'm not the best source on how the high is.
I think it's really cool when strains are named after activists, or created to help provide someone specific relief from their symptoms.
I would have to agree with description, it does seem like Amnesia Haze mixed with Rare Dankness #2.
This is a great strain to smoke. I suffer from a strange currently undiagnosed neurological problem. With this problem comes a bunch of symptoms. One of the worst being an aneurysm type of attack, this strain if I can smoke it shortly after the pain it will only take my pain to a level 8/10 instead of a 10/10. Those 2 points make the difference.
Some of the other symptoms this wonderful problem brings is constant motion sickness/vertigo, balance problems (I got stopped by police once while walking they thought I was drunk), speech problems, and just an overall yuck feeling.
Jenny's Kush annihilates most of these symptoms and I couldn't be more thankful for that. It has more pain relieving properties than 100mg methadone at least for me it does. And yes 100mg
Thanks jenny
I went into my dispensary and word for word asked for something that would “take away all my anxiety, make me feel happy, and put me to sleep.” This is what they recommended, and they were 100% spot on. I have never had a strain make me tired so soothingly. I literally float into the best sleep without even realizing it when I smoke this strain. No struggling to feel tired or relaxed. This also has been amazing for anxiety. I’m in a long distance relationship, which has definitely increased my likelihood of stress and panic attacks due to a diagnosed anxiety disorder. Particularly at night, when I start to feel the worst. This completely calms me, and make me feel very loving and peaceful. I usually get very anxious at night, but this strain makes me want to text my boyfriend sweet things as I drift into sleep. If you are worried about this strain making you too energetic, don’t be! Personally, all the “energetic” “uplifted” feeling does is relax me and make me feel very happy. I highly recommend for insomnia, anxiety, and depression. And thank you to my bud tender for the great recommendation!
Working through some strains trying to find the best couch lock, nighttime med. that I can. This was recommended in lieu of what I went for, grape ape, so I gave it a shot. I must say that I've been impressed, the smell, taste are good. The effects are very relaxing, and laid back, yet still enough for a long walk. I think it's the best hybrid I've had. Disclaimer, I don't really like hybrids and strongly favor hard hitting indicas, but this is a nice one in my opinion and impressive.

This strain is a wonderful chill out strain. Not a coach lock you would expect but a mellow yet uplifting feeling. It also has a very meaningful history behind it. when I smoke this strain I think of Jenny and give her a moment of silence
Method: flower in pipe and bubbler
My review is my own experience, strains affect people very differently...
I love 50/50s. I’ve been eyeing this strain for a while. While some say it leans more indica, others, like the budtender who I asked, affect more sativa. I’d have to say, after smoking twice on separate days, it depended highly on the dose how much either came out.
When I first tried it, I only packed half a bowl, just to check it out. It was very relaxing right away. Muscles eased, the world seemed clearer. I had a very heightened mental state and awareness with a calming effect. When the body “high” wore off, it was all sativa: cleaning, doing laundry.
Second day, I smoked 2 bowls as opposed to the half before. Heavy body relaxation. The mental clarity was still there, and if I needed to go do something I could, but enjoyed the more calming, indica effects.
Great for depression, works for my anxiety (although did stimulate my thoughts a lot), minor aches, pains, muscle spasms were relaxed.
I think it’s the perfect strain, honestly. This is now in my medicine cabinet, no doubt.
Other strains I favor for comparison: cherry pie, sunset sherbet, GSC, GG4, Sundae Driver, WiFi43, SFV Dawg, Wedding Cake, Purple Punch
(H(I)/Indicas)
I HATE HATE sativa, or sativa strong hybrids. My brain races, bad anxiety, heart beats fast, total MISERY. But I had to try the Jenny. From Lume, it's 34% THC. This stuff is SOOO strong, so good....it just gets you happily blown tf out!!! I'm 40, been smoking daily since 15. I have a decent tolerance. This stuff is HAPPY, HIGH, RED EYES, HUNGRY, GIGGLY, THEN.....SLEEEEEEP!!! MY NEW FAVORITE!!!!!! DO NOT HESITATE, just buy it.
