So happy I found some of this strain in shatter. Jaeger reminds me of 2 strains...Black Ice or F*cking Incredible.
Brand: Canamo
THC: 74%
I see it says something about Blue Dream as a possible parent but in my opinion it doesn't resemble BD at all.
If you need a good night time medication this is a good one.
Relaxation washes over you in comfortable waves from head to toe, and you will want to keep plenty of munchies nearby.
There's a licorice taste on the exhale...
Final update: 31.4% THC
This is my new favorite strain. I'm relaxed and giggly for hours. No PTSD issues, pain is almost gone and I'm happy!
LOVE the wickedly complex bouquet and the flavors are better than any bag of skittles!
As usual with most purple strains this one is a great sleep aid. Not great for forming cognitive thought or words into sentences, leaves you a little foggy. The particular batch I procured had a smell that immediately let you know you were dealing with a force to be reckoned with, but without fear just look the beast square in the eyes and show it just who exactly the boss is!
Ok.... WOW.
I've been a cannabis connoisseur for 20 years strong now and I must say... WOW. Very nice, deep gas/diesel aroma mixed with a light woodsy/earth that is so amazingly delicious, you have to like danky, stinky aromas to truly appreciate this one. No licorice (According to strain classifications) at all and that's a good thing for me personally. Straight gas.
This is truly medicinal, top shelf quality here. HIGHLY/HEAVILY SEDATING, PAIN RELIEVING, ANXIETY RELIEVING MAGIC right here people.
This WILL put you in your place regardless of what you think, feel, have planned, etc. NOT FOR BEGINNERS. Not even a light pull. Don't do that to the naive.
You can feel the small % of the Sativa side of this hybrid, but only seems to be worth any while while already up and active. A bit talkative and a tad creative you may become/feel, but for the most part a heavy Indica SLUG to the jaw takes over with JGR.
I have sleep and anxiety issues and this just puts me right at ease and to sleep. I passed out 3 hours before bed for work one night, woke up angry that I slept all that time, ripped 2 or 3 large pulls of JGR, went back to sleep like a baby for another 8 hours.
DONE SON.
I favor Indicas and try to defend most of them as being able to be used while functioning.. I still stand by that, but JGR is simply MEDICINE that should be treated with respect. Put it this way..I've browsed Leafly for a few years now but NEVER decided to make an account up until now to tell you all how amazing this is. This is the stuff that can actually replace opioids.
9/10 some of the best from 20 years in the game.
Very relaxing high. 10/10
Smoked it during a panic attack. JGR will slowly and comfortably make you feel like the Marijuana God's wrapped you in a blanket of sunshine and happiness.
Beauty. No other words describe this strain. A full sensory experience before you even light up, and when you do... paradise.
I've seen this strain grown well and I've seen it grown poorly. Either way, it's still nice to look at. There's always variation, but good or bad, JGR always has something to please the eyes. A beautiful splash of color, a hidden pocket of resin... always something to make you smile.
Move in closer, take a breath and Jaeger really starts to show its strength. Strong, and I do mean strong, aroma off this one, keep it sealed or it *will* smell up the car... but you might actually want it too! First notes on the nose and tongue are a strong whack of diesel, followed closely by a semisweet black licorice and grape that combine beautifully. As you inhale, pine and earth and pepper join the mix to get the blood flowing, an on the finish, a light of vanilla and leather.
I don't have to do a separate section about the way it smokes, because this is the first and only bud I've ever smoked that smokes *exactly* the way it smells. The diesel hits you first and hard, and will even make an experienced toker cough a bit. Next the grape and black licorice come rushing in and offer relief, once again followed by the warm, comfortable hues of vanilla and leather.
One special note about the smell and smoke. There always seems to be one or two "wild" flavors or scents that seem to appear and dissapear at random. I've gotten random hits of coffee, cinnamon, jasmine, ammonia, garlic, walnuts, gunpowder, cheese and lemon off of this stuff. Truly a surprising strain, always a trick up it's sleeve.
As to the effects, your milage may vary, but for myself its absolute perfection. Back and knee pain? Gone and forgotten at best and at worst, a mild nuisance. Nausea and loss of appetite (stress related) about the same. Best of all, no headache!
Mentally this flower is just south of perfect. For me, the only thing it doesn't do is lift my mood, but it does however keep me stable. No anxiety, I can handle stress better, my math skills greatly improve and I can process my synesthesia better. Being able to fall asleep when I want/need to, with no bad dreams, is a bonus.
All in all, this strain is an absolute joy, and I highly reccomend it to any cannabis enthusiast. Its unique blend of taste and aroma also makes it a magical addition to the kitchen. Used fresh or dried, decarbed or not, this strain is a canna-chefs delight. Pairs nicely with chocolate, red wine, venison and dark game, duck, dark berries, cardamom, cinnamon, almond and plums.
