This was my first time trying any kind of cannabis in over 10 years.
I only experimented occasionally in my youth, for a year or two when I first when to college. My experiences were very mixed, but for the most part, I didn't like it.
I decided to start researching cannabis use again as I've developed terrible insomnia which is brought on by anxiety attacks at night. Also, I do enjoy having a drink, but I'd like to cut back on alcohol and have something more healthy for recreational use.
Anyway, all my research pointed towards high CBD, low THC strains. I used to get panic attacks, racing heart, paranoia etc very easily with cannabis, and thats why I stopped. I was very apprehensive but was very interested in trying it again, as I had a few good experiences too. I just needed to find the right strain.
Nordle, being indica, was said to be good for relaxing and sleep. I had also read it was very mild in general, which also appealed to me. I bought my Nordle from CBD Crew as they had lab tested their product to prove it was indeed high in CBD.
I finally bought a vaporiser and tried some. It was a very enlightening experience. (In my previous experience as a youth, people smoked joints mixed with tobacco - I don't smoke tobacco so it probably added to the dizzy and nausea).
When I took my first draw of the vaporiser, I was feeling a little worried how I'd react. Because of this - as the effects started to set in, I was a little on edge and tense. However, as I continued to take more, I realised that it wasn't getting any worse, and that it was my own mind being reluctant to let go.
I began to relax and had a really good time once I realised it was my own mind, and it actually wasn't making me freak out. It made me feel quite sedated, with some heavy couch lock as I pushed further to see how much I could vape. My eye lids grew heavy.
I vaped about half a gram and was feeling very floaty, a little spacey, with heavy eye lids, a little couch lock, dry mouth, and my appetite was increased.
It's hard to describe, but I still felt very lucid and self aware of how I was feeling, yet at the same time, concentration was difficult and reading simple sentences on the TV guide was a struggle.
It requires the user to allow it to take over, and allow yourself to zone out and turn off. Its for winding down and relaxing for sure.
Considering it was my first time, and my tolerance is presumably extremely low, I was surprised I could handle a half gram all to myself and remain feeling calm. It would suggest to me that this is a mild, mellow strain. Not racy or too trippy, with a mostly body stone.
Its hard to know if it worked for my medical requirements, helping me to sleep, because it was my first time and I was trying to relax my mind. When I went to bed I was worried that I didn't feel sedated enough to sleep. My mind was thinking about many things, and I kept losing my train of thought.... however, somewhere during these deep thoughts, I forgot about time, and drifted off to sleep. Perhaps the more used to it I get, the more it will relax me and help me sleep - we'll see.
As for taste - I was VERY surprised. It was my first experience of using a vaporiser. I bought an Arizer Air. I had read many reviews in which people discuss all the different flavours of cannabis. I thought that as someone not used to it, it may be too subtle to notice. Instead, when I took my first vape, I could taste a fairly strong flavour of lemon, citrus and pine, with some earthy under tones. I noticed that when it was nearly time to re-fill with fresh bud, it had began to taste more of biscuit, wood and earth.
I'd say this strain is good for beginners. When vaped it seems to build up very slowly, but you can take enough to make the effects as strong as you like. Very manageable. No paranoia or anxiety, no dizziness or nausea. Much more of a body stone than a mind stone, but it does dull the thought process. Mellow and relaxing, good for night time.
Tasted very nice for those into pine and lemon/citrus.

Sweet strain. I have been researching cbd for a while thinking it may hold the answer to my treatment resistant depression and anxiety. 10 years of mental illness and pain is long enough. I finally got access to cbd nordle from cbd crew. tested at 8% cbd, 16% thc. It has noticeably reduced my chronic stomach pain, anxiety, and depression. Has worked 5x better than any psych meds I have tried (i've tried about 20) and has less side effects. I find it absolutely insane that big pharma is making a killing off of all of these dangerous prescriptions with a crazy amount of side effects, i've spent 10 years going to dr after dr getting nowhere, and it turns out a plant has the answer I was looking for. lol.
Great medical strain. Sweet, sugary smell. Doesn't produce a strong cough. High CBD and modest/low THC levels, making it a poor choice for recreational users but a perfect choice for many medical users. The effects of this plant are amazing. It creates such a mild high that it is almost unnoticeable. What is noticeable is how wonderful you will feel. The effects on anxiety/PTSD is simply amazing. The high CBD/THC ratio is absolutely amazing for my phantom limb pain. Opiates, at any dose, could not touch that form of fybromyalgia. High CBD cannabis was a miracle for me and is to many other people as well. I can not say enough good things about NORDLE.
Got this strain as Argyle from Tweed as a Canadian Medical Marijuana patient. I would say that this is a great strain for starters and equally for those experienced. Experienced medical users often have a nice cheap form of medicine with high amounts of CBD, this is what stashes that section for me.
Taking this up on its own, or mixed to support another strain, you can't go wrong with this stuff. Anything with high CBD content and low THC like this or Bediol by Bedrocan needs to be in everyones line up. It will take away the negative effects from whatever you're buzzing from and keep you at bay. Someone said it was great for sex, the stuff certainly helped.

The most amazing strain for migraines/pain EVER! I haven't been able to find it since I got a little not knowing what I had. The day after I bought it I woke up with the worst altitude/tension/sinus migraine I've had in a long time...I thought we were stuck, there was no way I could drive; I could barely open my eyes. So I gave it a shot: 2 tokes and 2 minutes later it was gone! No pharmaceutical has ever been so fast or effective on my chronic migraines and cluster headaches. As of yet I haven't found a better strain for pain or headaches, period.
Great strain! Only downside or positive side is the CBD is just as high as the THC with this strain. It's more of a body stone, bringing pain relief for me and my MS.
If you're looking for a smooth Indica that's going to mellow you out, relax you, and end up putting you into a good night's sleep, this is for you.
By far, my favorite CDB strain. I was reluctant to try it at first, as I was enjoying the Canna-Tsu strain, and went to pick up a bit more, only to find out they were out.
Intrigued that this was an Indica, I decided to give it a go. Awesome.
I vaporize this at night, a couple of hours before bed. Very relaxing, things are a lot more funny, and I end up sleeping great!
The more you vape, the deeper the relaxation. Go get this one, if you love CBD.
This strain was recommended by a budtender at Ganja Goddess for an evening / de-stress vibe, and she totally nailed it. (For context, I am a *very* light use / occasional smoker that seeks out high CBD strains for relaxation + anxiety reduction with low psychoactive effects,)
Onset was a little bit heady, but eased quickly + gently into a really killer state of mental and physical relaxation. Took away the stress of the week and calmed my mind in a way I haven't been able to reach with meditation / consciousness practice, with an equivalent body effect (that didn't turn into slug zone / couch lock). It seemed as though I couldn't have stressed out or thought about anything difficult if I tried!
Will definitely seek this out again for a dependable unwind / chill out option in my "medicine kit".
