Very Strong and Oh So Fruity! I have been using sour apple for a few months now and it's grown to be a nice strain that's made it's way onto my fave list.
The Bud: Super frosty as if these small dime shaped funky chunky looking nugs that are light green and have bright sherbert hairs; these are super dense to bust open, lots of cbg is released and the trichs on my finger tips aren't coming off. Dunked in the sugar bowl i'd say.
The Smell; Fruity, sweet, berry like and has high notes of sage and wood at the end, I could smell this all day long and never get tired of that smell. I would say Sherbert Diesel Smells more like that sour smell in a green apple.
The Taste:Woodsy, Herbal like and pungent, very smooth exhale, but harsh inhale of vape.
The Effect & Medicinal Benifits: Super heavy Head rush as it runs down the crown of my skull to the more of the sore areas on my feet making it bearable to walk again after standing for 8 hours straight can be hard on my feet. It behaves like an indica however has a lot of the head stoney side giving me that buzzing patterns whenever I look at words on a screen or checkerboard patterns it would make it as if it were moving. Dim lights seem to get brighter and streams of light stretched more as the night grows darker, it's great for the eyes as well making me able to see again. Recommended for ADHD, Depression, Stress, Anxiety, Manic, Some minor pain relaxation, its a heavy creative relaxer :p I recommend this for people also suffer from Tinnitus, Paranoia, Anorexia and glaucoma.

Information: Sour Apple Strain
Quality: High End Mids
Location Grown: Central California
Growth date: June-August
Harvest: August-September
Use: Recreational/ Medicinal
Review: Strain felt like a hybrid. Left user in a state of energetic tendencies. User also felt like sticking to the couch various times.
Device effects:
Bong: Smoother as time went on. After three bowls inhalation felt smooth, and cool. No ice added.
Blunt: Strain burned slow, hits were smooth, after awhile the hits started to be more abrupt, unsure if because of the blunt length. Taste became more apparent also.
Steamroller: Best method of experiencing the strain, recommended after using bong. Device will quickly have you feeling the effects, recommended to take small inhales until comfortable with larger hits. Beware this device may cause irritable coughing.
Joints: Second best way of feeling the effects. Work well, burns slow, if walking beware of legs feeling tingly after awhile. Reported having this feeling 9/10 on walks.
Vaporizer: Strong aroma. Works well. Would not recommend using for this strain on the fact that it vaped fast. User was certain it wasn't the device as other strains lasted longer per use.
Other comments: Strain will leave you feeling happy, giggly, relaxed, energetic, numb (tingly), immobile (after large consumption), "chilled out", couch glued, reported feeling of a headband being on user experienced this in a positive manner. Lastly, user felt like there were "...nukes going off where my brain would be..."
Overall Rating: 9/10
Notes: Score would be higher if based on top shelf quality.
Recommended: GreenPeaceGlobal strongly recommends this strain, A+. Edible use has not been rated yet.
Very happy, euphoric strain. Reminiscent of Sour Diesel but I would say it's a bit more of a cerebral buzz. Very nice and very much a true hybrid feeling. Very heady but not energy-draining.
Sour Apple is a wonderful, gentle hybrid strain. I'd like to categorize it as sativa-dominant, but there is a nice body component that develops in longer smoke sessions. This strain's mental effects are on the quiet, introspective side of things. Reflective and soft, rather than mentally energizing, Sour Apple is a great choice when needing a moment to think things through. The relaxed body high that evolved as I reached the end of the bowl was comforting and accompanied the sativa effects nicely. I think this combination of body and mind is what makes this strain great, because the synergy between the effects allowed me to explore my mind without feeling paranoid. I might even call this strain meditative. Sour Apple would be a good choice when doing yoga, playing music or video games. It may not be a great choice for activity that requires social interaction and participation, like a dinner party or game night. Those looking to use cannabis medicinally may find this strain helpful for treating stress and relieving pain. Those with anxiety disorders, such as PTSD or social phobia, may have mixed results with this strain. I did feel myself spending a lot of time looking inward, which may exacerbate symptoms of anxiety. However, the physically relaxing aspect of this strain may allow introspection in a calm state, which may prove beneficial for those combatting anxiety. When using any medicinal herb, please exercise caution and pay close attention to the way it makes you feel.
Sour apple is wonderful. I really only have to take one hit to feel great with this strain. This strain is gentle and it doesn’t give you that “wow I’m definitely high” feeling, but that can certainly be a good thing. That’s why this strain is best for the nighttime. If you wanna just chill out and clear your mind. If you want to feel good all over this is the strain for you. After one hit I feel so relaxed and focused at the same time. It’s hard to explain the wonderful feeling but to me it feels almost like a full-body orgasm. As if your entire body is having an orgasm. A 3 hour orgasm. Orgasms are nice. You can’t beat smoking something that feels like you’re being jerked off by Gal Gadot. It’s great man. It makes you feel so positive mentally too. It’s a good strain for thinking things through. It promotes positive thinking. While the strain is gentle it still gives you the psychedelic effects. Like I said, it feels like Wonder Woman is gently jerking you off. It’s beautiful man try it.
A little background on me, been smoking flower nightly for 2 years now. Usually a joint or now 2. I don't live in a legal state and although I'm eligible for a card, they don't sell flower here. I get my weed from local dealers. All swear their new cookies branded items are legit. Then I met some other dude and he had Sour Apple. By this point, I was an Indica leaning Hybrid fan but nothing was doing it for me anymore. Don't know if it was tolerance or just a bad string of local weed. I do not like pure Sativa.
So I try Sour Apple. I smoked a 1.5 gram joint. Holy shit, I had to hold the wall to walk in. It was so euphoric and calming. BUT there's a magical power it has over me. It's a truth serum. I start speaking my mind.... It's a nice confidence feeling but you gotta go back and look at your social media posts for dumb shit you said out of anger or frustration...
So one day I decided to clean out an old bong... Haven't hit a bong in a year. I load it up with SA and get 3 nice hits from it. No problem... Yes problem! This strain is a slow sneaker. It takes a few minutes and then WHOP!
So then I loaded it again and got 3 hits from it.... HOLY COW.... I staggered to the living room... I start deep thinking about things, get emotional, call my wife while she's shopping in Walmart visiting her family down south, and just exploded on her with all the bottled up things I didn't even know were bottled up. I was crying like I was when I lost my Dad. That hard....
So be warned... It is a wonderful strain once you find your sweet spot... I can do a bong hit with 3 pulls and that's my limit if I want to get work done cause it helps me with focus. It also makes me really talkative... It also won't knock me out after the high is over. At night sometimes I go for the hero hits especially if I'm in a good mind space and it's amazing...It just relaxes me, makes me inquisitive so I'll go down random rabbit holes on the internet, it's reignited my marriages sex life and it makes me pass out eventually.
I don't know what to label this. It's definitely Sativa-ish to me but without my usual feelings of paranoia or thousand thoughts a minute.
Anyhow, I'm trying my best to get as much as I can cause I've tried other past favs since then and nothing comes close if you're looking for Euphoria, Deep Thoughts, Relaxed mind when consumed in moderation, full free speech and possibly feelings of anger or frustration may show since you just speak your mind and you don't care. It's an amazing feeling to me. I worry too much about others judgement. With this, gloves come off, still in a respectful manner, it doesn't turn me into a dick...
And it make me ramble like this... Just hit that 3... I hope my review helps someone.
This was one of the more expensive strains that I've bought. The great thing about sour apple is that you are very much aware of how high you are, so if you wanted to smoke and run some errands, you'd very easily be able to moderate yourself. Not to mention that after about 2 bowls, I was FLYING. Everything was hilarious, and there wasn't a single sad thought in my mind, even a few days after smoking (I go on tolerance breaks, so no other smoking experience would have interfered). Don't expect to be able to stay on task very long, though, it's definitely not a productive high. It's more of a sit down, leisure time alone or with good friends kind of high. This would probably also be a good strain for anyone who needs to get their creative juices flowing, too. Just write down your ideas though, because there's no way you're going to want to get up and write, paint, or play an instrument until you start to come down!
There have been some beautiful late harvest buds around the OC lately, busty and plump, with coatings of amber trichromes. Sour Candy Apple has dark leaves and light emerald flowers, flush with pale hairs. There is a fruit scent similar to an apple or pear. It’s a bit piney also, but barely so. The buds I got were really fresh, making them hard to break up. Once they dried after a moment or two on a dish, they were much more workable. Smoking it gives a really harsh hit, but the exhale is all fresh apple and slightly sour. It isn’t overwhelming like a sour patch kid, though. More subtle. More bearable.
Sour Apple is a mix of a heavy Kush indica and Sour Diesel. I’m not sure where the “Candy” in the name comes from, but the obvious choice would be a work in of Candy Kush. The high left me with a nice warm tingle in body, like a warm spiced wine enjoyed in front of a fire. It was heavy in the eyes and comfortingly sleepy, a kind of drunk feeling. I was still able to function on lower doses, and it was mellow and smooth. I found it to be a great wake and bake strain on a weekend, when you want the dreaminess of morning to continue. However, it is a bit too distracting for a work day. The more I smoked, the more couch-locked I got. When used late enough, it put me down swiftly to sleep. This hybrid seems to swing far to the indica side, making it perfect for all kinds of pain relief and insomnia.
